That is exactly what i think... I think he wants to distance them by making her indebted to their family...
I think he is conniving... he wants his son to develop in character by ES's influence but doesn't want her as a daughter in law... He figured out that he came to Korea only for ES... so he wants him (KT ) to stay ... so he changed schools for ES...Where is the part that hyun joo and kim won are together in the past?
