    Hmm I don't consider night light a chaebol either. It's more of a family controlled money lending enterprise, and in no way was seo yi kyung ever made to feel that she can have as much money to spend on whatever she wants - that's my definition of chaebol.

    Like @yanki, I like the fashion in night light the best. Business and structured outfits bring out LYW's lady boss aura the best. Even the grunge clothes in the younger flashback scenes are a good match for her tomboy vibe. 

     

    Speaking of this video, it combines the things I like and hate the most about night light - an awesome fashion show and the totally out of place theme song. Hearing the whistling and tada tada refrain makes me want to find the person who selected the song for this show so that I can give him a talking to...  <_<

    Haha, LYW fan is hard to be satisfied: asking for poor role, but at the same time, demanding bada$$, smart woman with cool outfits. These characteristics can't be put at the same sentence, guys. :D (except she's a spy who pretends to live a poor life to catch criminals, but in fact, she's the chief of a detective office or police station. MY WISH! )

     

     

    But...poor = downtrodden, and LYW is much more interesting when playing kickass characters. 

     

    Well, if she's to play poor character,  let it be in a sageuk then. QSD won't suffer since sageuk costumes won't offer her anything to dig. :tongue:

    Reason? Cos lawyers/prosecutors always go together with trench coats. :tongue:

    LYW with her height and slim figure will surely look good in them ->> QSD will not be at a loss. Also trench coats work best in spring, so it means we can get a winter break and then a new drama from her.

    Actually, they acted before in Tough Guy's Love when LYW was just starting out in her career. Recalling their scenes in that show and the above video, my reaction: OMG, they were so young then!

    I think it depends on the value of the item.  Maybe above a certain threshold, such as the LV or Valentino bags, the sponsor will take back. Not because they are stingy, but because they are considered exclusive items and giving away for free will dilute the brand prestige.

    Hope the finale can break 7%. But seem difficult, as last week, there was no MBC's drama at same time slot, all dramas got advantage in rating.

    @QSD, haven't jumped in though I keep hearing how good it is. I'm tied up with something else... I'll keep it for a time when I'm ready to watch somethjng fun and with girl power! :blush:

    Yes, because tvn is a cable channel and people have to pay to watch it, unlike sbs, mbc and kbs which are broadcast channels.  Also, the ratings were much better than its predecessor criminal minds (korean) so that's saying something about the show and the 3 draw of the 3 leads.

    Thanks @may2429, now I finally know it's a whole outfit, including that strip of cloth. 

    My initial thought was why LYW chose to pair such a frumpy plain blouse with a puffy skirt. And that cloth strip? I thought it was a handbag strap!
