guys/gals kyaaaaa just to update you all.... I went to watch IU at the Melody Forest Camp last saturday and can I say she is absolutely absolutely gorgeous and funny... it was such a great experience listening to her live (i did have to wait from 9am in the hot sun though..getting sunburn along the way LOL) but omg her voice is soooooo good!!!! her interaction with the crowd is just so warm and natural. she encore, then re-encore and then re-encore again!!!! i kept walking away and then run back whenever she pops back up on stage LOL awwww this experience just made me love her even more.... and definitely if anyone wants to see IU in her most comfortable state, you definitely have to go to korea to watch her. its just so different. I felt so happy especially during the You and I stage when we all chanted "IU chamchuota!!" omg that feeling when the whole crowd shouts the same thing is just out of the world.

IU singing Good Day at her manager's wedding.. keke loen is just one big family. so nice to see that.
FYI, this manager is IU's first manager from when she debut. he got promoted, that's why we dont see him as often nowadays.
It's really heartwarming to see this...
This good day performance was also impromto.. IU was eating, cutting her steak halfway when she got called to sing this... we all know how importance food/steak is to IU kekeke

Haha, don't worry. I don't have plans to get out of this for now. I've watched all Running Man episodes so I've watched all of IU's appearances there as well. I might watch them again one of these days esp since she's in that highly rated/super funny episode with Park Ji Sung. I thinks I only saw several clips/cuts of IU in other variety show. I might not be able to catch up with all Heroes episodes so I just randomly watch those recommended on Youtube.
But anyway, I'll support her from now on. Still waiting for the Infinity Challenge with English Subs. T_T
And speaking of, how awesome would it be if my two biases will be paired??? IU and Yoo Jae Suk! But of course, will still support her music. She's the collab queen after all!

FYI : according to the photographer, IU suddenly looked for him to take a photo of her without makeup, brought lots of magic markers to write "마음" then erase it and write again until she was satisfied with her handwriting in this picture lol! cr.squishy

I second this @nikki89 , and thank you for sharing IU's video with sub through SGheartIU.. I really appreciate it..
I found The Producer interesting because I can learn about their broadcast behind the scene.. It's refreshing and I enjoyed this drama. I already watch 2 eps.. About Cindy,It easy to give judgmental or harsh comment about IU's acting, but I hope many people can understand how Cindy can be where she is now. She worked hard from morning till night to several places. Certainly tiring, that's why sometimes she's being tired, lacking energy (she's also avoid carb and doing strict diet). Being member of the group for several year, where she produces a lot of money for a few years and she just decided to pursue a solo career recently , showed she's quite tolerant of a friend. Imagine growing together with people who you think is a friend, but they're just using your money for them self . She also showed concern for new trainees to give advice on diet. Perhaps she felt the young trainee were like her 10 years ago. Strict diet, exercise until 12 hours per day. Cindy really been through hard things to become she is now, and IU potrayed cindy with good. I think IU is doing just fine with Cindy character. It just she is given a little screen time so viewer hasn't see the development and depth of her characters.

@airbening I read on dramabeans and one of the commenter Zoe made an in-depth character analysis of Cindy and I was really impressed with it.
I quote a small section of her comment:
"Also, I’m not sure sure I’m explaining this well- I don’t believe that Cindy knows she’s trapped/exhausted, which is why she’s not being actively played that way. Quite the opposite. I said this in the last episode too, but I feel like the saddest thing about Cindy for me is that she is so clearly lonely, and she equally clearly, doesn’t even know she’s lonely. I think this is where the direction has really stood its ground. Because the hints of how alone she is really came across when she was touched that someone would care enough about what she was eating to just buy her food- the idea that a small gesture like that would affect her that much- enough that her misguided interest in BSC is based on this- is a good enough showcase of how lonely she is. Except she actively tried not to show it, so that moment in execution is very subtle- unlike, say, similar moments in this episode re: JM and BSC as regards the encouragement given by Yoon Yeo Jung, where they were open about how touched they were. So what she feels comes across in the fact that she eats the kimbap, or that she watches BSC run across in the rain.
It’s clear that she’s trapped/exhausted etc. from the dialogues, as well as from her expressions in context. Except, and this is all my reading, I feel like those moments are all really subtly done and tie in well with each other, and often they seem to get lost in interpretation when taken in isolation. Like Cindy closing her eyes at her CEO’s office, as if she couldn’t care less about the conversation, when, just moments before the CEO had mentioned that she looked thin and frail and complimented her on the same and casually told her to get a drip, which suggests that she’s genuinely exhausted, as much as she tries to play it off or not let it show. And that is interpreted as IU ‘playing at being cold, badly’ while it’s Cindy ‘playing at being cold, badly’ in that moment. It’s Cindy, the character, rather than IU, the actor, failing at being cold and divaesque, and just coming across as tired and bored and affected."

Can anyone kindly explain what is the difference between an all kill and a perfect all kill?And how many times has IU achieved a perfect all kill?And for comparison sakes,do many artists/idol groups achieve PAKs?If so,can you give some examples?Lastly,could someone also explain what MR is to me?Really sorry if my questions are annoying.I would greatly appreciate it if somebody could answer them.Thanks in advance if you do.

An all-kill is when the song is #1 on the daily and realtime chart on all 9 music charts (see instiz website for the rankings + charts). However it has to be instiz CERTIFIED AK for it to be valid.
A perfect all-kill (PAK) is when the song is #1 on the daily and realtime chart on all 9 music charts and simultenously be #1 on the weekly chart. Again this has to be instiz CERTIFIED PAK for it to be valid.
AK is possible but PAK is very rare, not more than 10 songs are PAK in a year if I am not wrong...
But that trend ends at IU because she is a digital queen.... if you look at squishy's compilation of IU AK and PAK http://iu-jjang.tumblr.com/all-kills (this will give you a fair idea of how influential IU's music is in her recent years), you will realise that IU is basically one of the artists with the most PAK.. so examples are My Old Story, Friday, Red Shoes (LOL thats already alot considering its achieved consecutively)
MR is Music Recording (or Music Recorded). So when some video say MR Removed, its basically the process where the song is modified to minimise ("remove") the background music while vocal is maximised so you can hear the voice more prominently

so many netizens are critiscising IU's acting... I find that its not really her fault. There was so little material to work with the character Cindy. After two episodes, Cindy is still a mystery. She appears here and there but the scriptwriter is not revealing anything more than we know about her. Other than her 10 years career and she's the money maker in her group Pinky4, she shows a slight vulnerability that is masked but sometimes catching her off guard shows that. I like that her role is like peeling off the layers of an onion.
IU may not be great at acting subtlety, but overall I think she's doing her role well.
What do you guys/gals think?

Does anyone know for sure whether IU will be singing an ost for Producer?I read in the Producer thread that IU's song from ep2(Heart???) is not part of the official soundtrack.
That song is a separate digital single that IU will be releasing in 2 hours. Its not part of the Producer OST but rather a gift for her fans.
Whether there will be an IU song in the OST... well we can only wait and see

Just an update that uaenas said the new song was great. No spoilers or anything so we will just have to wait and see.
The filming finished really early so most probably it didnt take too many takes to finish this scene.
After the filming, while she was leaving in her van, IU ask how was Cindy's song? the fans shouted that it was THE BEST kekekeke. IU also said the cheers for Cindy were louder than IU's.
good to see that uaenas are also doing their best to support IU and producer-
