@pafaccio @phi3nk I read that the award show will be aired live on tvN, OtvN, and tvN Asia. Red carpet event will be held on 6.30 pm KST and the award ceremony will be held on 7.30 pm KST.
Anyway, this reunion is a really great news! I can't even describe how excited I am for this! And yes, the response are all positive. I read many comments on many sites and no one give negative comments for this news. I think it's because Reply 1997 is a much beloved drama for many people, and Inguk - Eunji is one of the most beloved drama couples, everyone are excited. I seriously can't wait! I just hope the amazing fanchant from 2012 performance will make a comeback too

I'm so happy at the news! Of course I'm glad he will be back again on screen, but this happiness is double for me because he will act with Nam Ji Hyun!
My two biases acting together! Hehe. I love Nam Ji Hyun since I saw her as young Deokman in Queen Seondeok, she's so talented, but sadly she was mainly always playing the role of the lead female's younger versions on her dramas. When she finally got her much deserves leading role, she will act with my ultimate bias! What can be more awesome than that? It's like dream comes true. I just wish that the story and the characters will be as awesome as the cast. I can't wait to see their pictures together, tbh xDDD But anyway, I hope before Ingguki starts filming this drama, he will rest for a little while~~^^

I can understand that. For me, I was irritated by the amount of shouting at first, and kinda confused with the time jump. But after eps 5 I became fully hooked and loved it, you know, that heartbreaking scene with Ode To My Family play as background music. It just goes right to my heart. Speaking of the OST, I also love it, and glad with the fact that there are no new songs for R97 OST; all of the songs are old songs, they are either 90's songs or early 00's songs; it fits with the nostalgia theme of the drama.
Yeah, Ingguki said it on his interview before that he originally auditioned for the role of Bang Sungjae. I like behind the scene story like this. I guess it was because the character is kinda similar with his previous role in Love Rain. He did say that after Love Rain, he got offers for similar supporting characters. And speaking of the PD, he worked with Ingguki before on Qualifications of Men; when he was going to hold auditions for 1997, he only auditioning people with satoori. He must be knew Ingguki is from Ulsan, hence he speaks with satoori. And he knew that Ingguki acted in Love Rain. So, Ingguki ended up auditioning for 1997's Bang Sungjae. But after his first audition, Ingguki said that the PD told him to try for Kang Joonhee role; he tried it. It was still not over; the PD told him to try for Yoon Yoonje role. After he auditioned for Yoonje, the PD clicked his fingers and said something like "This is it!" And so after he tried for those three roles, he was told he's going to play Yoonje. He rejected it at first, thinking he was not good enough for a lead role and for a cool and handsome character like Yoonje. Fortunately the PD kept insists and said that he can do it. He accepted. The rest is history. ^^

@dadedum Joonhee's confession... does that mean you've watched Reply 1997 already? I remember you said you didn't watch any related clips of it coz you don't want spoilers. What do you think of it? And what do you think of Ingguki in it? Hehe. Remember that it was his first ever lead role, that he rejected at first because he didn't think he was good enough for a lead role.. and that he auditioned for Bang Sungjae role originally

We've been blessed with so many amazing Seo Inguk pictures lately. I still can't get over his photoshoots, then whatsup_inguk tweeting and then those airport pics! I'm going to die at this rate. And OMG, those pictures are only out for, like, days/weeks apart and yet he looks so different! He looks manly on those photoshoots, and BOOM! whatsup_inguk tweeted his photo in which he really looks like a teenage boy. Like an actual teenage boy. And then he was there at the airport showing off his broad shoulders that reminds me again that he is a man. I should have used with this, he already prove he can look like a manly man then change to a boyish teen in a matter of seconds so many times, but still. It's wonderful.

Don't forget another red string when they met in the same team because they both came from Gyeongsang province back in 2011, long before Reply 1997 in KBS Oh My School. They even stood next to each other at the rope jump. Who knew they would kiss each other one year later in a drama hahaha. Gosh, this really brings back my Reply 1997 feels.
As always, I love his live performances. Thanks for all the goodies! As for his high notes, I always love it, but yeah, I think sometimes there are conditions when he was struggling, either because he was tired or perhaps he's still recovering from that thyroid surgery. I love all his songs, but to be honest, rather than ballads, I'd love him to sing Tease Me/Perfect Fit album kind of songs. Those are just so sexy and fits him perfectly. I hope when he comes back as a singer, someday, he'll release those type of songs, even if it's not the title song, it's fine.

@dadedum You speak my mind, I'm waiting for Baeksang nomination too. It's like one of the the most prestigious acting awards in Korea, isn't it? These past years he was mostly nominated for popularity awards in Baeksang, except in 2013 when he was nominated as Best New Actor in TV category. I hope he gets nominated in actor awards category in Baeksang next year; all about I Remember You gets high praise in Korea, critics loves it; I hope they will recognise it too.
And I really want Inguk to wins in KDA. I think the way to know that is we have to know whether or not he will attend the event. Usually it's only those who wins who attend the event. Pray hard for Ingguki. But whatever the result is, he will always be the winner for me.

OMG knowing Seo Inguk and Ji Chang wook are friends is gold. My close friend is an ultimate Ji Chang wook fangirl and of course I'm an ultimate Seo Inguk fangirl, we're usually fangirling over our own oppas together hahaha. And I also read that a lot of Healer fans loves I Remember You.
OMG!!!! This makes my heart flutter all over. THANK YOU FOR TRANSLATING THIS! AHHHHHHHHHHHH! Gosh. JCW and SIG.... Perhaps, is it possible to see these two friends with Park Min Young in a drama? It would be awesome. SIG has great chemistry with PMY in his Isenberg promotions. I'd go crazy if I see them three in a project together.

Well, if JCW, SIG, and PMY are in a drama/movie together, many people will have a dilemma for who will they root for and will be dead because of the hotness hehe. OMG it will be great, for sure. My friend who is a big fan of JCW and PMY also said that one of Jang Nara's friend is a friend of Park Min Young, and that means, perhaps, JNR and PMY knows each other. This world is indeed small. Oh my, now I can't stop imagine them singing at noraebang together, bonding as BFF.

OHMYGOD YES. I hope Ingguki will make a cameo appearance in Reply 1988. When he made a cameo, back as Yoon Yoonje in Reply 1994 (esp the first one on the bus), I screamed and cried happy tears, no kidding. Plus, Park Bogum is there. Can you imagine Seo Inguk, as a high schooler Yoon Yoonje or as judge Yoon Yoonje, meet Park Bogum's character who will obviously be older, since he is from 1988. It should be fun.
A bit dissappointed that he had no plans to release an album anytime soon. But well, it's okay, I will always waiting for that day whenever it is. And thank you all for the goodies from Japan fanmeeting ^^ I always ship Seo Inguk and piano, such a great combination

What type of fangirl are you all? Right now I feel like I’m living in a daze. Even friends and family notice that I seem out of it these days. When I’m out eating with them, I hurry them along (I try to be subtle about it, but it didn’t escape their notice) bc I just want to get home quickly and binge on SIG vids. If I could I would cut off on all my social activities so that I can catch up on all that I’ve missed. This obsession feels very bizarre and foreign to me. I’m still taken aback because in my years of j+kdrama watching, I’ve never been so..attached? Crushes come and go, I never felt compelled to yt/dm/twitter/instagram/tumblr/dcgall/naver the living daylights out of any of them until now. Last crush I went as far as set up a blog, but it was more for fun bc I enjoy chatting about non-crush things with the people I met there, more so than about crush himself lol.
I wish SIG will do a musical. Would love to go and watch if it happens. I read here that in last year’s miniconcert, he vows to only produce music that he loves from now on. I hope he honors that promise. He’s a smart guy and knows what musical style suits him best, now it’s up to jellyfish to help him materialise it.
What you feels and experiencing, is pretty much what I feels and experiencing. I had some celebrity crush before, but you know, usually it was for a short time, and I moved on with my life. But not with Ingguki. I'm still as obsessed with him as I was when I first discovered him, especially considering that when I first saw him I was kinda doubted him, even I mistook him with Song Il Guk haha. There is just something special about him. A heartrider I know in twitter tweeted that once you get caught on his magnet, you can never get out. There was one time when I was so into my real life that I momentarily distracted from all fangirling things--about him--but it's guaranteed that I will always come back. It's just, whatever new comes from him, or whenever and wherever I hear or see something comes from him, he shines brighter and brighter. I love all about Ingguki, even his messy house haha. Aside from his talented, charming, hardworking and all of those things, I also love about his honesty. When he was interviewed about how he feel about showing his messy house, he said like, "why should I hiding it? It's just who I am", like, he is so honest about himself. Have you read the article when he said about waxing his important part just because he was curious lol. He's just so chill and honest. He never, not even once, looks and sounds fake. I just loooove everything about him and I'm sure he won't change.

LMAO, so funny and cute. He's embarrassed introducing himself as Edward Seo, hahaha. I think I understand a bit of it, but I'm not really sure. He puts on ad-lib and all of them laugh lol. One chef asked something, like, where did you learn to cook/who taught you to cook? He answered "My grandmother". "Yup". Hahaha. Edward Seo is supposed to be foreign educated, but that chef commenting that it was his Gyeongsang-do language that comes out of his mouth, I think. Am I right or not? I hope I'm right, I miss his satoori and it's nice everytime his satoori comes out and he himself unaware of it. Hehe, yeah, I need engsub, too! I'll wait for Team EngGuk to sub this ^^

You are sooo lucky to meet him although you couldn't be part of the people who came on stage, but, really, just by reading your story is already make me have so much feels. Thank you SO, SO much for sharing. Yes, his fanservice is so awesome! That is why we love him sooooo much, right? Not only because of his talents, charms, and looks, but also his manner and personality.

When I read dramabeans description of that chef role--handsome, elite, foreign-educated--my mind goes straight to Lee Hyun xD I don't know if it's just me who still can't move on from IRY or not, but you know, Hyun is great at cooking. He made cake for Jian's birthday, he cooked dinner for the two psychos haha. He worked part-time once on episode 8, maybe he works part-time again as a chef in OMG to hunt LJY. Well, if it fits, I will consider it as a continuation of Hyun's life after IRY ended
