  2. You are very welcome. :) If you are matched a NC, you probably have warm undertones (weird how MAC works: NC--> warm; NW--> cool). For normal skin, I would recommend the new laneige BB cream in shade #2, which will look very natural (like a no makeup look). I have been using it everyday for three weeks now (since it came out, it's that good), and it has faded some acne marks.

ahh this is great! I just wanted to clarify, is the new laneige BB cream the Snow BB cream, SPF41/PA++ ? Also, where do you get your Laneige, is there anywhere you recommend? ^^ Thank you so much.

  3. ^ I'm not too hot when it comes to telling whether things are real or fake, I just went and checked all the Skin Food stuff I can find, and some things have the urls and some don't. Black Sesame and Black Sugar masks don't, the coffee nail scrub and balm don't, their tomato sunscreen and aloe bb cream do, but their milk hand cream doesn't.

For the sunscreen and BB cream, they're both on the back where the ingredients are listed, the BB cream's got it in pretty small font, I missed it the first time round looking at it, the sunscreen, it's in a little box with a... customer info number?

To the best of my knowledge nothing has the url on the front or top of the packaging, where it states what the product name is.

  4. ^ Nivea really is very good, comes second I think. A lot of the time, my mother will have gone shopping and come home with a couple of lip products for me to try, so I have a pretty staggering collection, especially because I buy lots myself too.

Kose's Vague lip cream is really, really nice. I'd say the best I've tried yet.

Carmex would be better if it didn't smell so funny, but it's okay.

Chapstick is pretty average, same goes for Avon's lip balms.

The Body Shop Born Lippy isn't anything special, plus the pot bothers me.

Shea butter is alright, but oddly I don't feel it does that much for me o_o

Lush's Let Them Eat Cake has this stinging sensation, more so than Carmex does, and I think it dried out my lips really badly. It's terrible.

uhmm, I've tried a lot more Asian brands too but I can't remember all of their names really plus none of them really stood out aside from Vague.

Also tried a bunch of Blistex ones and nothing stood out there either.

  5. ^ if you're trying to decide between BRTC and Etude House, I'd go for BRTC. BRTC is so much better for your skin imo.

I got a couple of Etude House nail polishes from my friend who went to Malaysia! They're really pretty, but formula-wise they don't even compare to OPI, disappointing, but not unexpected lol. Funny, because I saw a couple of reviews online where people said that Etude House nail polishes were basically cheaper OPIs =X

  6.

Serious? Damn D: Well, one day if I go S.Korea I'm so going to buy like, two of whatever I need :L Since it's so cheap there.

Definitely stock up. To be honest though, I think if you're in Korea, you might as well spend your money on better brands than Etude House. Etude House is cute... But I can't even really see myself buying doubles of anything. But yeah, Sydney's way too expensive when it comes to cosmetics.

  7.

^ Yeah I was there on Wednesday, they were having a 30% off everything sale, and I'd say the prices were still higher than the RRP in Korea. I had a look at the nail polishes, but they were only 10% off, and the application wasn't too great. Considering how cheap it is in Korea, prices here are so jacked up.

  8.

^ More expensive than ordering online. I can't say for sure how much, but it'd be similar to how much it costs in Singapore I'd say, which is...25USD -ish.

I don't know, but in Hong Kong, the markup for SkinFood was crazy <_< I paid almost double what the Aloe BB cream should cost, I was such an idiot =="

  9.

i went to the website but they couldn't tell me. whats the difference from aloe bb cream shade 1 and shade 2? one shade is darker? or yellower? does it really matter what shade u get?

and can u order from the skinfood site? i read that they can mail international...but i have trouble trying to get items into the shopping cart? is shipping expensive to US?

    can someone help me??

Shade 2 is darker. I think it'll end up making a slight difference, but not in the same way as say, the wrong shade of foundation. It shouldn't be too noticable.

Also, I don't think the Korean SkinFood site ships internationally to the best of my knowledge. The Singapore one might, but I think shipping will be expensive to the US. If you want a site to order off... Try SkinTouchx. Hope this helped :)

  10. ^ Do you have a micro SD card slot on your phone, USB cord for your phone or Bluetooth?

If you have a micro SD card, then if you have a card reader, or adaptor, you can put it in there, if you have a USB cord, you can connect directly to the computer, and if you have Bluetooth, then you can get some sort of... Bluetooth USB reciever or something? I'm not 100% sure what they're called, but you stick it into a USB port and then you can transfer files to your phone that way. Though, if you have Bluetooth, you should have a USB cord anyway with your phone.

  11. it really depends what kinda style you're looking for and which area you go to

i can easily find clothes at MK for $5 - $10 USD from street vendors and little boutiques. if you want bigger brands, they usually go for around $60+

& buying wholesale means you're buying in bulk so it will be cheaper than retail. The ones on S/T (i.e. JE551, CCT) require ppl to get at least 2 of the same style and there is a minimum order.

    hope that helps :)

Hmm... About how much do clothes cost in Causeway Bay?

I'm going soon, but I'm not sure how much spending money to bring...

Also, does anyone know any good places where you can get Japanese edition or Korean edition CDs? Not the Hong Kong editions?

    Thanks ^_^
