I used to sing by forcing myself to get the high notes...
But after that I changed to the other method since the other one was tiring and I could hit higher notes..
But what do you mean with relaxing my stomach and jaw? (Yeah, I'm unfamiliar with the diaphragm term XD)
And I don't understand the long run either...

i meant don't try to give yourself abs while singing. haha like adding too much pressure into your diaphragm [that dome like thing inside your ribcage that helps you breathe. i think it's like under the lungs? iono hahahah]. cause what you're really doing is adding more pressure to your neck [because of your tight diaphragm] which tightens up your throat and hurting your vocal chords.
but if your relax both your jaw/neck, and diaphragm then it'll be easier to have more of a free range ANDDDD you'll have more control over your voice.
and about the "long run"
if you keep tightening up your throat, and forcing yourself to sing in that condition...
your vocal chords can get calloused which can lead to vocal nodules. and let me tell you, those things are NOT PRETTY. haha... even after you remove them, you may never be able to sing again. D:
so... if you learn how to sing the right way, you won't get them! yay!

I don't know if this question has been asked before..
But how can you reach the high notes..
I really suck at singing a high range! XD
i just wanted to add on to what It4cH1 said.
it's not just practicing on the scale, it's HOW you're singing.
if you're forcing yourself to get to the high notes ... as in, using too much pressure in the neck/tensing up in the throat OR even your diaphragm then you're definitely going to ruin your voice in the long run (vocal nodes, anyone? D:!!!)
what i learned was,
if you relax both your jaw and stomach (area? diaphragm?)
it's much easier to hit the higher notes much effortlessly (and lower notes too).
but you won't be able to reach those high notes in a day.
you gotta keep on practicing.
like i said before, it'll be much better for you in the long run.

first, send your application to the email they provided on their website.
no pictures or demo or anything yet.
then they should email you back (if they like what they see ...maybe? not sure. but they usually do email back) with another email address to send your files to.
but since they are so busy, i doubt they will reply right away.
2-3 weeks at the earliest? maybe a month?
so please be patient

IT'S SOOOOO GOOOD!!! i'm not really a manga/manhwa fan, but this was friggin' amazing.
anyways, is the 2nd book out yet? i've only seen the first one so far T____T

most celebrities get thousands of hits per day and considering he's an idol, i doubt he'd only get 1.

wooo~ i haven't posted in this thread since the beg. of 2008 o_o;;
wow time flies by so fast.
anyways i was watching sang sang plus yesterday, and decided to make some gifs of my fave. moments.
