love love love TNGT!! they nailed everything from the catalog pictures to the teaser clips and finally the advertisement.
yea YOF tomorrow. i guess there will still be at least one episode next week for the river rafting and bungee jump. no idea if they filmed or are going to film the highlight episode where they gather again. it feels incomplete without it but with the controversies going on and their busy schedule, sigh i dont know anymore.
and the tentative airing date for moonlight drawn by clouds is 1st August. im kinda hoping it will get pushed back. it's going to fall right smack in the middle of Olympics which means there will be the risk of preempt for important matches.

that is a very nice article from dispatch. im surprised they can actually do a serious thoughtful interview haha.
im glad they showed us the audition videos in YOF. im totally impressed by ajh. his character sounds really weird on paper but he did a great job with his unique tone and expression. the pd said that even though it's a character they created, it's hard for them to explain the exact feel they want, and they need the actor to bring the character to life. he's perfect as jungbong!
and congrats! looks like bogum is one of the top 10 celebrities for style icon asia. hopefully he can attend together with song joong ki on the 15th.

i thought the reason is very simple
Spoilerthe concert was a TICKETED event. the event company had to plan in advance their budget for promotions, artists, venue, band, etc and also the flow of the concert blah blah. and unfortunately, since bogum was unable to confirm his schedule at that point in time, to be fair he had to reject the offer instead of keeping the event company waiting.
he probably signed on a lot interviews, photoshoots and cfs and his company is already having a hard time with his schedule. for example even for the fansign, he was only able to confirm it like one day before the actual day.
let's just enjoy his short video appearance. (finally a full version)

haha he was asked about the ep18 restaurant scene where his hands went for the cola instead of beer. he said everyone was really tired. waiting time was long and they were filming all night. he subconsciously reached out for the cola first, he was surprised too.

we once again confirm that in real life, our 'dream man' park bo gum is similar to his character choi taek. after finishing the eat-popcorn shoot in the small hotel room, he could have left the room quickly. but this kind man picked up the fallen popcorn on the floor and came out even later than the staff. even the food that is prepared, he will only start after the superiors have eaten. how can you not love this man?

lol whoever does the editing for YOF is flooding bogum with all those cute fonts with angel wings and hearts.
there's this funny bit when ajh is talking about his snoring problems and bogum feels sorry for him and wishes that he can do something for him. the hyungs all tell him not to do anything. later ajh says why do i feel that bogum is going to do something to me tonight when i am sleeping? he is scared haha. *demonstrates on rjy* if it's bogum's personality, he might do this and he is worried. ajh reminds bogum not to worry too much and jokes that bogum might come and open his trachea or something lol.
in the preview for next episode, i think ajh asked bogum why are your hands so rough?

ive read the sungkyunkwan scandal novel and the drama is toned down by A LOT. novels tend to go into very detailed description of those *cough* important scenes lol. so im sure it will be the same for moonlight. and it is kbs who are we kidding? i just hope the writer can come up with more original ideas for those pretty heart fluttering scenes.

that's quite a lot of bogum today
- there's at least 3 long mukbang; he can really eat
- sous chef; he has manly hands
- after shower; we are good girls
- 2 car accidents; i feel bad for him but luckily the hyungs tried to make him feel better
- desert trip; so cute when he failed so badly at trying to trick rjy by hiding the go-pro, it's so obvious lol
- rock throwing game; that slow-mo editing with dramatic music hahaha
- playing the maknae role well; singing and entertaining hyungs in the car, feeding hyungs, tidying the hotel room
- drunk and dancing; lol when he was imitating dong ryong's dance then he said he misses dong hwi hyung awww
next week: swimming pool, more heart to heart talk and more tears! and it looks like they spent so much, are they just gonna sleep in tents and eat bread for the rest of the trip?

omo omo it sounds like 'splish splash love' without the time slip. i see names like nam ji hyun, han hyo joo and lee jong suk tagged along too.
im hoping more towards park bo young, kim yoo jung or han groo, i think they fit the youthful romance part more.
kyaaaa there's a lot of intimate and kiss scenes in the original novel.
and im getting 'scholar who walks the night' vibe from those comic graphics.

oh bogum and ajh bought two crocs for themselves. before going up elim dune, ajh was worried since gkp has no proper shoes.
it wasnt shown but i think bogum gave his grey crocs to gkp. you can see bogum wearing gkp's slippers at night.and did i mention i love the cute fonts they are using for their names in YOF. like bogum has hearts and milk bottle (in pink font lol).

from this article, the reporter asked do you usually drive? bogum replied sometimes when he is worried that his manager is too tired, he will take over. to a certain extent, he has no problems with going straight, left turn, right turn, but for now parking is still a little hard for him. honestly, there are times when he wants to drive, but his manager will be worried/afraid/anxious/unease, so he doesnt get to drive often.lol wise decision manager nim.

haha bogum's twitter photos. did he match his own expressions to the hyungs? they look the same in all 3 photos.
chinese subs are out! lol at rjy's accidental shower scene. what's funnier is the re-enactment of it. gkp and ajh's laughter is highly contagious. and there's no doors in all their bathrooms, even bogum's. love bogum's interaction with the little girl. sunwoo trying on that female tanktop lol. please cast ajh in the next 3 meals a day. oh god his ripped pants. in the flash forward, the police woman asked why he's wearing ripped pants lol. i wonder if they are stopped or they are just asking for directions. conversations on family gets me every single time urgh. lastly, some new english we learnt this episode: more-ed, live chicken, special tree.
there's also little moments like when he was having a cozy talk with ajh, he reminded someone his phone dropped and warned rjy that his phone is going to fall out of his pocket. i also like how he immediately said sorry hyung when rjy started talking about his dad, like he felt bad for bringing these up.

I followed all the series too! I don't know why but YOF Peru holds a special place in my heart. there's something I can't describe when you put those 3 musically talented guys who are so different but yet so same together. and those cute llamas and alpacas played a part too haha. let's see if I'll change my mind after this series.

I don't think it will. It's a great heart to heart talk. such beautiful tears. I can't believe bogum don't have a family photo. No wonder he was talking about spending time with parents and taking photos with company staff in his recent interviews.

omg bogum cried so beautifully today. i teared up too. quick summary:
rjy said that his dad's wish is to be able to pay off debts. bogum started crying. rjy asked what about him. bogum says he wish his family will be happy. in the interview, bogum said photos can leave behind memories. since young, his dad has always been taking his photo, he didn't get to take much photos with them, so he is sad. he says as we spend more time with friends, the time with parents becomes less. he hopes that everyone will spend more time and talk more to their parents.
he told rjy: hyung you are great, you know how to take pictures, acting, you know lots of things, you are number one husband in the world. rjy said let's not use the word husband. bogum immediately change to seobang (histotical word for husband), number one seobang, number one son-in-law.

oh yes i was getting tired of the same questions too. that's why the hyacinth interview is a refreshing one. and yah he took the subway. he said it was peak working hours and people didnt notice him.
i was gathering bits and pieces of good stuff for rough trans (pardon the bad english). hope you guys dont get bored of these. i love these back stories more than the actual interviews and they are too precious not to share.
after the YOF presscon ended and all the actors have left. suddenly, bogum returned from the waiting room, went up stage to grab the photo board and ran back happily. (fans say it's a habit of his to keep those boards. i remember him asking in the kbs entertainment interview too)

i love that second interview article too! so creative and fun, they even posted the full transcript. you can imagine bogum's tone and expression when he answers those questions. ranking his characters as brothers is a great question. when bogum place himself second as he thinks he can take good care of his dongsaeng, and the reporter went 'bo-gum ssi??' she's totally doubting him haha; she must have watched YOF. so cute how he heaved a sigh of relief and laughed at the end of that question. (but.. how about min-ah??)

in a way, it is still his mistake. on the monitor it is A30, but on their boarding pass it is printed A0. if he noticed earlier, then they would have double checked. the crews were just happily following our park guide and didnt realise too haha. you can say all are at fault, but nice bogum took the full blame. it's fine, this is real variety and who wouldnt forgive him aigoo. also we'll get to see him spend more alone time with those smiley kidnappers.
omg I love those jelly too! they are like chewy gummy bears, supper addictive! looks like he'll get a jelly party during the next fansign.
