Lee Dong Wook, the actor who is standing in front of the camera, is also a pragmatic man behind the camera. Looks like he is someone I would like to keep by my side forever and ever.

It true that smoking while getting your photo taking would negatively affect his image a bit, but serious many other stars do smoke too to relieve stress and what not. At least Wookie has the guts to do it publicly.

As for his relationships with co-stars and directors, I haven't heard much or any negative comments about him from them. All I've heard were good comments and as seen from the interview, he is sincere in his relationship with past co-workers, and works hard to maintain those relationships even after the project is over. I especially like the part where he mentioned LDH!

Mulan, both ldh and ldw still a close friend until now, eventhough I'm still rooting them to be more than that, but since this rumour come out and looks legitimate to me, so I wish them the best-we as fans cannot do anything about it. KHJ, is a really nice women, match ldw very well, I realized she does resemble ldh in term of character and physical build, adorable and cute, just like ldh-so we know ldw taste eventually.

Hay,, being a DongHae shipper really is the reason why I joined this site. :hmm: Though I find Wookie happy on Hyun Joo's side, I'm still rooting for DongHae. Wookie is a very nice guy, I guess people misinterpret his closeness to his co-stars. I guess it is just a matter of time.
But, a big BUT, if the rumor is true, I have to accept the fact. I adore this guy being him, it's a package if my dream Da Hae and Wookie will end up together in future.
I'm on the same boat. I've only gotten obsessed with Korean series a little over 8 months ago, and it was ALL thanks to My Girl.
Since the series was aired many years ago, it was harder to find stuff on My Girl, so I joined Soompi to find more stuff related to My Girl and Wookie & Mukgu. I LOVE the DongHae pairing, and I prayed SO hard that they were a real couple in real life. It was rumoured many years back that they were dating, but it doesn't seem so anymore.... ^not really know about his past lover, but the latest rumour before this is his co-star in MY GIRL actress Lee Da Hae, there are lots of forums regarding them post MY GIRL days. They are always caught wearing couple things before, so fans speculated there is something there. Now they remain good friend, in fact when asked by reporter in Thailand before, lee da hae said LDW is his closest male friend.I didn't hear about LDH saying that about Wookie, so it's great to hear that they are extremely close friends.
As for the new rumour of Wookie and KHJ dating, if it turns out to be true, I'll be very happy for both of them.
Though, it's not my ideal pairing, KHJ would still be awesome woman for Wookie. I hope both of them the best. -

I don't think there was an official version of him saying it released, so this one is ripped from the series.

Just finished epi. 11 and 12. Both were awesome episodes.
Episode 11 mostly focused on TJ and how he is dealing with finding out EH's husband involvement in his died friend and family's case. Wookie did an excellent job portraying TJ trying to distance himself from EH because of guilt, but also showing his painful love for her when she is looking.
By the end of Episode 12, almost all the problems that could happen, happened: EH finding out her husband's death wasn't from the genetic disease, but most likely has something to do with TJ and his family; a major hit on TJ and EH's relationship; EH's son is getting sicker; the wife finding out about the JW and Han's affair; the landowner is found to be dead, so not much more progress on granny's case; and much more if you count the really small subplots like Yoon-joon and the secretary's relationship problem.
The director and scriptwriters are doing an excellent job carrying out all these plot and subplots so far. I just hope with only 4 episodes left that they can tie everything up relatively nicely.
He's also very good at being naughty and playful. I loved his interactions with the son. Loved the expression on his face when he was watching the son getting his injection. I hope we have more scenes between him and the son.Things are moving suddenly so fast. I am still feeling vaguely dissatisfied with TJ/EH love scenes. I want more. When are they going to declare their feeling and fall into each other's arms? I want TJ to be loved. I hope EH never blames him and comforts him immediately as soon as she realizes what TJ has been going thru.
The scene where TJ and EH's son were interacting together was the cutest, especially the part where EH's son was jumping to get the yoyo from TJ; it so reminded me of My Girl when Wookie did that to LDH
. Both of them are so ADOREABLE! -

Besides the fan event held in JCB Hall, Tokyo, last April, ‘Boys Over Flowers’ premium event will be held in National Convention Hall of Yokoyama on 6-Sep. ‘F4’ Kim HyunJoong, Kim Joon, Lee MinHo, Kim Bum and ‘Geum JanDi’ Goo HyeSun, together with group SS501 and T-MAX who sang the drama OST will attend to this event.
‘Boys Over Flowers’ official Japanese site webmaster IMX will undertake the production for this event.
Korean version of ‘Boys Over Flowers’ was first introduced through hallyu cable channel Mnet last April, and the drama will be broadcasted through the public channel TBS throughout Japan from 31-Jul onwards.
I can't wait till September! I want to see F4 and JanDi together again so badly.

I dont dislike honey lee's character.. Im actually liking that she's getting jealous of TJ getting close to EH... hahah thats what you get for rejecting TJ Im actually curious to find out more about her dad... anyways im glad that she's teaming up with TJ/EH...
I agree. JW's jealousy with EH will only strengthen EH and TJ's relationship.
I must say Honey Lee is doing an excellent portraying her character. Her character is getting/will be getting in the of EH and TJ relationship, but at least her character isn't acting all helpless to get TJ back like other rivaling women in many other Korean series trying to get the main lead back after rejecting him.
Her wanting TJ back actually is valid and not really out of spite... She has no close relationships except for TJ's bro and TJ, since she's acting all sophisticated and snobby. Well her relationship with TJ's older bro isn't going too well because of his wife, and now she has to deal with her creepy-voice father too. It's no wonder she wouldn't want to give up TJ, who at least truly cares for her, and be person of comfort for her.

I just finished episode 8. OMG! It's WAR now people!!! EH, TJ, AND JW vs. YW. It's going to be interesting.
I wish there was an preview of episode 9, though.
Partner is definitely getting better with each episode. I agree with ripgal about how the show incorporated so many things at once, which they did effectively too.
OMG Wookie and Kim Hyeon Joo have awesome chemistry with each other.
TJ talking about EH picking out his underwear in front of JW was the best, especially when they top that with the measure of who's arm was longer. I can't wait for more TJ-EH moments.
Btw, anyone else like the Secretary Choi Soon-i and Yoon Soon (Kim Dong Wook)? I personally like it very much.
I'm glad the scriptwriters made the secretary like she is; I laugh every time she's onscreen.

decided to watch it the second time and now i'm going crazy.... i remember seeing a scene where ga eul was telling yi jung that she is not going to bother him anymore and she walked away going down some stairs ...i cannot find that scene anywhere?
do anyone know what i'm talking about? or i'm i just imagining things....please help me..... i'm totally going crazy trying to figure out what chapter is that scene is in.

I just finished watching the first episode on viikii.net (without subs). I'm surprised I could understand 30% of what they were talking about. Anyways, I am LOVING it so far!!!
I LOVE all the Wookie moments! His character is SO fun to watch! The best parts had to be when he first appeared onscreen and when his character met Kim HyunJoo's character for the first time.

I just finished the last two episodes. I'm sadden, as like most you, that Partner had to end.
I seriously wish they will consider a second season for this series even if, like celena8899 said, we have to endure 2 years for it to happen.
For the ending, I was somewhat satisfied. It would have been nice if they could have tied up some of the loose ends, like some of the secondary characters' relationships. But I think the main relationship (TJ and EH) was very well handled at the end. I would have been sad/disappointed if the scriptwriters had added a kiss scene at the end or at all during the last two episodes. A kiss would have diluted their love for each more than strengthening it.
Throughout the series, it was the things like TJ taking care of EH's cuts or sweet hugs & hand holding or sacrifice they had to endure to make sure the other was safe/happy that truly showed their love for each other. And NOT ways of showing love like kissing or sex that are being shown quite a bit in other series, these days.
The only other series I can compare TJ and EH's love with is Jewel in the Palace/Dae Jang Geum's Seo Jang Geum and Min Jung-ho's love for each other without excessively having to show it. After watching MANY series, I still find Jang Geum and Jung Ho's love being the most genuine and most memorable EVER. I'm glad to say TJ and EH's love is only a bit short of Jang Geum and Jung Ho's.
I had a really nice time coming on this thread and reading each of your posts. Thank for to those of you that posted pictures, videos, news, etc for the rest of us to enjoy.
I'm just going to end with, I hope this thread will continue growing even when the series is over.
