Has anyone ever been to the Prudential Center in New Jersey?
If so, do you know if the seats on the floor for a concert are standing or if they are actually seats?
Also if there are any hotels nearby that you'd recommend I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thank you my five shining stars for coming back with a new album after your 2 year and three month group hiatus! I loved all of the solo and Japanese work that you guys have been doing, but I'm even more excited that you guys are promoting at home in Korea again! I will be adding your new albums to my collection very soon, so I can't wait until I have them!
It was 4 years ago in 2007 when I first heard of Big Bang. At the time I was still in high school and my interest in Korea, Korean culture, and K-Pop was just beginning. I first learned of Big Bang by reading various comments on youtube videos and by browsing forums. However, I did not know what you guys looked like. Everyone described Big Bang as being these hardcore hip-hop guys, so initially I did not want to listen to you guys because in my imagination I pictured really scary and buff guys that rapped about frightening topics. (저 닭이에요.)Lol, I ended up being so wrong... that I think it's really funny now. Especially since you guys are some of the sweetest people that I have ever seen.. on the internet lol. Anyway, one day I finally decided to listen to a Big Bang song and watch a music video. The very first music video that I saw was "We Belong Together" featuring Park Bom. I fell in love with the song! It was so catchy, and the members seemed nice and nowhere even close to being scary at all ㅋㅋㅋ.
From there I listened to every Big Bang song that I could find, and I became a huge fan. 거짓말 & 멍청한 사랑 are some of my favorites! I even started watching variety shows that had Big Bang in them such as KBS Idol World and Come To Play. Basically, if Big Bang is in a show I watch it. I even watched the dramas that T.O.P acted in. Since I live in America it was sometimes hard to find you guys on the internet, but then I found Soompi and it was as if my prayers had been answered.
I now love Big Bang so much, that I frequently buy as much merchandise as I can. I want to watch Big Bang on my tv as much as possible since I can't watch Korean tv here in America. I have also been learning Korean for more than a year now. I also stayed in Korea for 1 month over the summer to learn Korean. My Korean homestay mom took me to SBS 인기가요 where I saw 태양 오빠 perform "I Need A Girl." It was amazing! He won that day and T.O.P came so I was able to see him too! I was so happy! Thank you Big Bang for just being your lovely selves. I love your quirkiness, your intensity, your musical talent, and your hardworking nature. I hope that you have a concert in 미국 one day soon so that I can finally see you in concert! These words are truly lacking, because I cannot possibly construct a proper sentence to explain how much I love you guys (

Taeyang - I've seen you perform live, and you are simply a stunning entertainer. I have both of your solo albums and you really are gifted in dancing and R&B singing. I hope that one day I will get to meet you so that I can compliment you on how amazing a performing artist that I think you are. I think if you debuted as a solo artist in America, you will be immensely loved!
Daesung - You have an amazing voice and the most fun personality. You always seem like you are genuinely enjoying yourself and even if you are having a hard time you don't show it. I hope to hear more amazing and fun music from you in the future! I also can't wait to watch your drama "What's Up" when it airs!
Seungri - Maknae! Did you know that we were both born in 1990? I feel very close to you because of that, and I love how you are so outgoing. I've always been shy, so I always strive to be more outgoing like you. You have grown physically, musically, and most of all mentally since Big Bang's debut. I think you have grown into a very nice young man and singer. I'm so proud that you have even begun writing your own lyrics and composing your own songs! Your album was simply amazing. There was not one song that I did not love.
Thank you Soompi and YG Entertainment for doing this contest! It really means a lot to an international fan like me, who has never seen Big Bang in concert.
Lastly, thank you Big Bang. You guys are amazing artists and human beings. My love for Korea has grown exponentially because of you. I even cheered for South Korea's soccer team this year during the world cup, bought a Korean soccer jersey, and I now have various other memorabilia that showcase my love of Korea. ^__^

we kinda had the same problem! Like we tried to buy a garden box and the $717 is pending in the bank account but we did not get any email saying we go the tickts...we were like WTF?? seriously?? its really screwed up! But we did get ahold of Korea Times and they said we'd have to wait a month before the money would be back in our account, really to stop pending...so that means they screwed us out of our garden box and the $717 for right now! >.< so we are just gonna wait and try to buy another garden box when they get a new batch of seats open in a month...anyone know exactly when that will be??
I also called yesterday, and the lady said that they are all sold out of Garden Box seats.
Can someone call & ask are they getting any more Garden Box seats and speak in Korean? I seriously think they don't tell you everything if you speak in English.. or maybe the girl I got was just being a you know what.. -___-

^ I probably should have added that it's my personal opinion that they "do not currently have the courage to leave SM."
The point of my post(s) weren't to force anyone to do anything they do not want to do. The point is to try to do something to bring all DBSK fans together again in a positive way.
I think it is a consensus, even among fans that solely support HoMin, that none of the fans care very much for SME. So that is at least 1 thing that most, if not all, DBSK fans have in common right about now.
I also don't really like Yunho & Changmin's decision to stay in SM nor do I understand why they'd actually choose to do so. However, I would at least like the fans to try to do come together & try something that might actually work. Obviously, boycotting doesn't work (i.e 2pm & KYHD's current sales). Or at least it doesn't work well enough to get the point across to the management company that us, the fans, do not like what they are doing to the band in question.
I know exactly what they have stated in interviews. But them stating that they "do not want to leave" at least to me, is still kind of saying "we might not yet have everything we need in us to leave at this exact moment."
I think that if Yunho & Changmin KNEW with every ounce of their being that they could still make it in Korea's entertainment industry without SME, and / or the fear of being put though what Yoochun, Jaejoong, & Junsu are currently going through & what Shinwha went through, & what JTL (Jang Woohyuk, Tony An, Lee Jaewon of HOT) also went through after leaving SM, that there is a higher chance that they would leave SM. (I feel the same about JYJ) I'm not saying that HoMin should definitely leave SM, especially since i don't know everything that has happened with DBSK, or the lawsuit or the strained friendships between the members. All I know is what I've seen from DBSK's contracts, and what other public figure opinions' are on the matter. And with the knowledge that I have obtained from basically every resource that has reported on DBSK & the lawsuit, I personally think that Yunho & Changmin should at least attempt the independent route like JYJ are doing... & yes going independent is ALWAYS hard. Always. But maybe, just maybe, with the help of their fans. The fans that were put into the Guinness Book of World Records. The fans that were always applauded for being so respectful, generous, and genuinely the BEST fanclub all-around, inside & outside. Just maybe, we fans could prove that to make it in Korea you don't need the support of a giant conglomerate management company. You only need what actually made you as famous as you are, and what actually continues to put money in your pockets. THE FANS.

I personally love all 5 members, so the above sentiment is something that I wish I could spread to every DBSK / JYJ / HoMin / whatever else any fansite of any DBSK member is calling itself these days.
I actually truly believe if it is possible to spread these feelings to all of the 800,000 official Cassies, the 200,000 (I think*) BigEasts, & the forever growing number of international "unofficial" BigEasts / Cassies that maybe Yunho & Changmin will really finally receive enough courage to leave the place that they know has violated their basic human rights on multiple levels.
So if everyone could tweet that message, post it on other forums (especially the Korean & Japanese fansites) I think we could at least start to make a difference for all 5 of DBSK and for all of the other entertainers that have also been wronged by their management agencies. I may be optimistic, but I do believe that even if it is only this one time (although probably the most important time for a fan of DBSK or of any part of the Korean entertainment industry or any other artist), the fans can truly make a difference.

@SilkInfused, I'm finally about to go to bed now, but thanks for your post saying something to calm my mind even if it's only a teeny wee bit. I also don't think Eunhyuk has anything malicious up his sleeve at all. I don't really think he is the type to say anything bad to intentionally hurt any of his friends, especially Junsu. I just keep replaying that moment on Super Junior's Exploring The Human Body where he cried when the members were making it seem like they were going to leave the group... I also agree about Kyuhyun & the choreographer.

I've been a fan of all of TVXQ for so many years now that I seriously like to think that there is something in that 10 + years that they spent together... minus Yoochun since he was in America. I really do like to think that the friendships that started when Junsu was a little trainee at age 12 are still there up until now.
I even almost want to get a twitter & join everyone in tweeting nice things to Junsu. Oh well, good night JYJ thread & soompi.

I know I'm late, but I want my first post to at least start happy.. so congrats on the new thread JYJ! Now for the not so happy stuff:
I don't really like posting about controversies and all.. but this time... I am seriously perplexed.
For all of you who don't know who Black Beat is, they were a 5 member boy-band that SM was trying to make the next H.O.T / Shinwha since both of those groups were no longer in the company.. (this is also kinda how TVXQ got formed too..)
However, SM wasn't satisfied with Black Beat's debut album even though it sold well and they had fans... but when it was time for their 2nd album it just kept getting pushed back.. & pushed back.. & then eventually it never came out. The Black Beat members were reduced to only appearing in SM Town songs (Go look at almost any SM Town music video & if you don't know the random dudes that pop up & sing or rap it's because they're from Black Beat >_<), but none of their own music.. If I'm right all of the members (except the choreographer Shim Jaewon) left the company when their contracts were up... Jaewon is the guy whose responsible for training SM trainees in dancing.. so he's trained Suju, Shinee, DBSK, etc.
So all in all I am seriously shocked & amazed that this dude who everyone (at least everyone in Korea) knows basically got screwed out of his singing career by his company SM, and reduced to being nothing but a dance trainer / choreographer for all of his junior's that get really famous & have concerts all over Asia.. is sitting there defending SM like he has forgotten that he ever had dreams & ambitions of being a singer like JYJ.. I kind've even think that he might be jealous towards TVXQ as a whole.. but that's just my opinion.
I'm sorry if I shouldn't have posted this opinion here... but I really don't know where to post it with all of the separate threads now... I mean I know Junsu made an ambiguous statement, & he probably was talking about Yunho.. but I don't think it's everyone else's business to but in.. yes they can have their own opinion & yes as an outsider fan I don't know half as much as these ppl posting these remarks on twitter.. but I still think it's messed up. If they had any kind of respect for all of the years they supposedly cherished with each other I don't think they should be speaking out like that... or at least Sungmin.. he was in a group with Junsu even if it was only for a little while before they debuted.. but I can't help but be annoyed that Eunhyuk (who is supposed to literally be Junsu's best friend since they were like 7 yrs old) is even letting himself have articles published about him! Yes, he didn't say anything deregatory, but the fact is that he took time out of his day to go see HoMin's performance. I'm not saying he shouldn't support them, I think he should. But him just being there & even saying anything to the press is just giving the media more fire to play with.. watch tomorrow there'll be headlines saying Eunhyuk & Junsu aren't even friends anymore or something just because his words and actions and anything else can be twisted now.
I'm sorry for this long kind've venting post, but out of all of the messed up stuff that's been happening, Shim Jaewon's message & Eunhyuk being made to seem like he's going to say any minute "JYJ can eat it" has annoyed me the most today. I think I'm mostly annoyed that someone who obviously doesn't have that much to thank SM for is going acting like he's almighty & SM is made out of gold. He seriously could have been a dance trainer anywhere else.. but being a popular singer is something that you can't just go and do anytime you feel like it.
Oh & @nightfall I really liked your post.. you made me wanna tell everyone about Black Beat & vent my frustrations about the situation. So thanks

I had the best hour of my life... I was in the very front on the rail, like 4 feet away from JYJ, Hero Jaejoong looked dead at me, Micky has the cutest laugh in the world, & I was spazzing about how cute he is THE WHOLE TIME, and Junsu pelvic thrusted right in front of me like 500 billion times! & I also signed a balloon and was able to give it to their staff as a present for them! Im also waiting for the information for the L.A. stop and since im 90% positive that it wont be cancelled, i decided to just booked the hotel since i already have the date of the concert...
If you don't mind me asking... which hotel did you book for the LA concert? & is it close to the Galen Center @USC? Me & my friends are also coming from out of town & I've been delaying getting the hotel since I've been paranoid that the show would be either cancelled or pushed back since it's taken them so long to release ticket information.

I have a few questions about VIP tickets. (even though I won't be shocked if no one can answer it since a lot of us still don't know anything... but thank you for any answers that you can give me!)
1. Do the VIP tickets mean that you get to do a meet & greet and/or fansigning with JYJ?
2. Do you have to be 21 to purchase VIP tickets? I went to Jin Akanishi's YOU&JIN concert and you had to be 21 cuz there was a bar in the VIP area of club nokia.... I'm still 20 & won't be 21 before the concert unfortunately..
3. Has anyone ever been to the Galen Center at USC in LA? What seats would you say are actually good there? From what I see most of the seats look like they have about the same view since it's basically a basketball arena...

I'm also getting a little ansy about tickets since it's only a little less than 3 weeks until the LA show.... for Jin Akanishi's concert I bought tickets almost a month and half before the actual concert date.... & the same goes for KMF @ Hollywood Bowl.. so I'm starting to think that they might push the concert dates back or something cuz it's getting really close to the show dates...

I was looking through the Chinese forum UTHKFC and came across to this news regarding the Johhny's net video. I think I haven't seen anybody posting this so I thought I would share and hopefuly everyone will stop worrying about Jin-gonna-leave KT rumours, and clear off the questions anyone had related to the other KT paparazzi photos on the "FRIDAY" reports ^^

2010/4/16 [KT members appear in Shibuya, calling fans to ignore the reports in the tabloids]
The B1/F in Miya Suma Tower, which is just a few minute walk from Shibuya JR station, is known as the “JE fangirls heaven”, because this is where Johnny Fan Club is located, a place for fangirls can purchase JE concert tickets, various idol merchandise such as limited shop photos. On 9 April, 4 of the KAT-TUN members - Kamenashi Kazuya, Taguchi Junnosuke, Tanaki Koki and Ueda Tatsuya - appeared in the family club at night, and totally gave the fans there a big surprise. According to the fans there, the 4 boys look pretty cheerful that day " They smiled for the whole time, and chatted amongst themselves every once in whole". The 4 members were there for the official fanclub video, inbetween the filming they even chatted with several fangirls, and jokingly told the fans not to read the magazine "FRIDAY", "Please don't buy it".....the place is full of laughter.
The magazine "FRIDAY" , which the KAT-TUN members pointed out, published a report the week before with the title of " KAT-TUN hidden private life" . The report mentions Akanishi Jin, the main character of the latest hit disband rumour, as well as paparazzi photos of the other members and reports about the truth of why Akanishi Jin does not get along with the other members. Amongst these rumours, the paparazzi photos of the date between Ueda and Ryoko are published for the first time. " It's a bit weird that the photos were only published now when they were obviously taken last November, yet surprisingly most of the fans seem to have this supportive attitude". The other paparazzi photos are just very old ones of Kamenashi Kazuya, Taguchi Junnosuke, Tanaki Koki, and a random night-outs between Jin and Ryo Nishikido. "However many fans are annoyed that there isn't anything related to Nakamaru Yuichi at all"
This time other than Maru and Jin, the 4 members appeared in J-One Records on the 2/F of Miya Suma Tower, that day the members are mainly discussing over the matters of the magazine "FRIDAY" with the staff. "Despite Akanishi Jin is leaving KAT-TUN again soon for his solo live in LA, as well as all those latest rumours related to KT in the media these days, the members look surprisingly calm. It seems that they aren't too affected by the bad rumours" .
KAT-TUN, who is going to start their concert in 2/5 and release a new single in the 12, has decided to hold a public concert rehearsal on the 28/4 in order to attract more attention to their forthcoming concerts.

Jin hasn't passed any audition in USA because he has not left Japan; just last Sunday he went with lots of his friends (Xtal Kay, Pi, Beni, Jaejoon...) to Lady Gaga's concert. And no, he cannot be in two places at the same time...
I know everyone on that list.. except Jaejoon... who is he? (I'm only asking cuz I extremely doubt if it's DBSK's Jaejoong... if it's him.. then I'd have a total fangirl spaz moment lol)
Oh and for anyone else going to Jin's concert I'd love to meet you guys there! ^-^

Yusuke Yamamoto stars in rhythmic gymnastics drama

This spring, TBS will explore the world of men's rhythmic gymnastics with a new drama series titled "Tumbling." The show will feature a cast of popular young actors, led by Yusuke Yamamoto (22) in his first lead role in a series.
Yamamoto plays a high school delinquent who has a weakness for women. When an attractive transfer student (Azusa Okamoto) joins the women's rhythmic gymnastics team, he responds by joining the men's team and soon discovers a passion for the sport. Since last fall, Yamamoto has been undergoing special gymnastics training for the role.
Although men's rhythmic gymnastics originated in Japan, the sport is still dominated by women. It is estimated that there are only about a thousand men involved in the sport competitively.
The supporting cast of "Tumbling" includes Koji Seto, Shohei Miura, Shunsuke Daito, Takahiro Nishijima, Satoshi Tomiura, Tomo Yanagimini coopera, Kento Kaku, Soran Tamoto, Rei Okamoto, Jiro Sato, Ryoko Kuninaka, and Nene Otsuka.
TBS plans to broadcast the series on Sunday nights at 7:56pm, starting in April.

He was sooooo good in Samurai High School... It's now one of my fav J-Dramas. So if anyone is still having doubts about his acting or doesn't think that he can handle it I highly suggest you watch SHS! I do agree with what others have said about him giving off the Kazehaya feel in Gokusen 3 as well... so I think everyone should watch that too... I just finished Gokusen 1 and I watched 2 a long time ago.. and now I'm on 3...

Hey guys, that is great news about the Japanese version of the HTTG being released... but just so you guys know.. I've had the Chinese version of the drama with English Subtitles for about a month... All / Most Japanese releases do not come with any subtitles other than Japanese...
I got it when I went to the Chinese Lunar New Year Festival.... and I only paid $20 for the entire series... and yes it still comes on three separate discs.

Wow, this video really relates to the current situation of DBSK so much. I hope DBSK can actually see this video, because there are many scenes which can motivate them.
I am confused, is Dating on Earth released on DVD? There are videos around. How sad it is? Why is it only released now at this time, all of us have been anticipating for this movie for such a long time, and it's released now? Feeling sad when I see them acting so fun together in the movie and now they are in this state.
Dating on Earth was released with their MIROTIC TOUR DVD. It doesn't have English subs, but as we all know, someone will sub it.
I can't wait until my copy comes in the mail soon! I know we shouldn't be giving any money to SM at this moment, but for a USA fan like myself who probably will never get to actually see DBSK performing live, THIS IS A MUST HAVE. I have all of their other concert DVD's so I couldn't just not get this one.
Anyway I'm also so jealous of the Australia fan accounts! I so wish I could have been there! The photos are so gorgeous! I know you guys that got to see them are really happy!

I'm planning to get the Prince in Prague Photobook from Gmarket, but i'm worried if i'l be charged on customs fees. I'm in US btw.So, i'm wondering if any of you guys has ever bought any photobooks/dvd from Gmarket, and can you tell me whether you have to pay for customs or not. thanks.

Since you are in the US, why not just buy it from yesasia.com? They still have it, and you won't be charged customs fees.

If anyone wants section B row 2 seat 9 for the New Jersey show message me.. for retail price ($180) or best offer. Sadly I can't go anymore (but at least I got to see them in the front row during November's showcase <3 )... but anyway this seat is DIRECTLY in front of the stage on the FLOOR!
