Mnet '슈퍼스타K' 우승자 출신 가수 서인국이 뮤직비디오 촬영중 응급실에 실려간 사실이 뒤늦게 알려졋다.
최근 신보 뮤직비디오 촬영차 태국 푸켓을 6박7일 일정으로 찾은 서인국은 푸켓의 뜨거운 날씨 속에서 일사병에 걸려 쓰러졌다.
소속사 젤리피쉬 측에 따르면 서인국은 42도에 육박하는 뜨거운 햇볕을 받으며 뮤직비디오 작업을 하던 중 결국 쓰러졌다는 전언. 결국 서인국은 응급실 신세를 지면서도 프로답게 촬영을 마쳤다.
뿐만 아니라 대박의 속설인 촬영 중 정전이 일어나는 등 우여곡절이 있었지만 리조트 전체 대여 및 고급 승용차와 요트를 제공받는 등 할리우드 스타급의 대우를 받으며 촬영을 진행했다. 또 배우 김민정이 여주인공으로 출연해 서인국과 애절한 멜로드라마를 꾸몄다.
소속사 관계자는 "음반계가 불황이지만 스타성과 가능성을 고려해 3억원의 제작비를 들여 이례적인 투자를 했다"며 "이번 뮤직비디오를 위해 소녀시대, 비, 원더걸스, 2PM의 뮤직비디오를 연출한 장재혁 사단과 '영웅본색', '동방불패'를 작업한 Film Crew 태국팀이 함께했으며 총 200여명의 스태프가 참여했다"고 밝혔다.
서인국은 이달 말 Mnet '엠카운트다운'(엠카)을 시작으로 본격적인 활동에 나선다.
