Hey everyone!
well for some people who don't have light sticks or any cheering goods i'll be passing out balloons(because some fans also use balloons) not many (around 30 or so for each Boice and Primadonna) so if your there early enough for you to see me i'll be giving them to random people who are there for the concert:D or you can buy your own if you want, im just trying to help people who were not able to get a light stick I thought about giving out balloons too, but I remember at the JYJ concert, they made everyone pop their balloons before the show even started. It's also listed as one of the prohibited items on the Nokia Theatre website. Just a heads up on that. ^^

Powerhouse is pleased to announce the Korean National Military Symphony’s first tour to the United States.This very special occasion is being prepared by Patriotic Culture & Arts Supporter’s Association (PACASA) in Korea in collaboration with Los Angeles Korean Festival Foundation (LAKFF) and Koreatown Youth and Community Center (KYCC).
Korean National Military Symphony will perform in five different locations in Southern California during their 9-day stay. The tour is dedicated to those Korean War veterans who fought for the freedom of Korea in 1950 and commemorate them whose contributions are never to be forgotten.
Led by Music Director and Conductor Jong Hoon Bae, the orchestra consists of those talented musicians who are active on military duty and will perform the music that cross-overs from classical to contemporary pop music.
K-pop star Hyo Shin Park, musical talents Wan Park and Korean Wave star Joon Gi Lee will join the symphony’s first-ever U.S. tour and present their talents to the fans in Southern California.
Sponsored by San Sung, Kumho Asiana and Hansung, their concert tour will be open to the public with no admission fee.

2011 JYJ WORLD TOUR
ASIA’S LEADING BAND LAUNCHES ITS FIRST CONCERT TOUR IN THE U.S. & CANADA
AEG LIVE and POWERHOUSE are proud to present the 2011 JYJ WORLD TOUR in 4 major cities in the
U.S and Canada.
This concert is a part of JYJ’s world tour project produced by C-Jes Entertainment and will be their first
concert tour in the U.S. and Canada. Their tour is drawing huge attention around the globe, bringing in
more than 20,000 fans to the recent concert in Bangkok, Thailand.
It is the first time that AEG LIVE, one of the largest concert promoters in the world, is hosting a major
concert tour for an Asian artist in partnership with Powerhouse.
JYJ was formed in 2010 as a three-member band featuring JAEJOONG, YOOCHUN and JUNSU. JYJ
released their global debut album ‘The Beginning’ in October 2010 and reached number 1 on the
Japanese Oricon Chart in a sweeping pace.

Official ticket sales will begin at NOON (PST) on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the designated online and

Ticket prices are $180, $150, $120, $90, $70, and $40. Seating charts will be available for viewing
soon. All details related to ticket purchasing will be announced following this release.

Though I've been a silent reader since the start of this thread, today's the day to come out!! Bought the music card to soribada and woke up extra early today (here in the states) JUST to download this song the minute of it's release!
Just an update: "Banmal Song" is trending at twitter and the song is already at the #2 spot on Soribada's 'Real-Time' chart!! That's amazing!!
Absolutely LOVE the arrangement of this version.
And, can't forget to say THANKS for the lyric translation!

do any of you guys also think that the "unconfirmed" aritsts are actually going to be there, and like they accidentally relaesed too many so they told us it was a mistake? i don't know, i have a little thought that that's what's happening, & i'd love to see the whole JYP family, but i'd also want to see more big idol groups! so i guess i'm okay with whatever happens (:

"Unconfirmed" means it hasn't been finalized yet. Meaning, those artists were probably asked, but have yet to make a final confirmation if they will be attending or not. So, I guess...a way to look at it, is...those are possible artists, but not guaranteed.

^I agree. It was great to see the girls. I can understand they had to keep the line moving along to get through everyone in the limited time they had. My only problem was, the extra loud music...so, we couldn't even say anything to them.
When Yenny apologized to me for not being able to sign my Korean copy of their Nobody cd, all I heard was..."I'm sorry..." I didn't even hear the rest of what she said. Oh well...I'm just happy to get the chance to see them.

And would the security say anything if we throw gifts onto the stage for them (after the performance)? XD haha.
It's really up to you if you want to throw "your" gifts at them after their performance. From what I've seen in previous years, I would recommend you not to. Unless, you're close enough to hand it to them. After performances, sometimes they have just enough time to say thank you, bow and leave the stage for the next performer to come onstage. Sometimes, if it gets left onstage...it becomes an inconvenience for the next performer (and if they have dancers, it gets in the way.) I remember from 2007, fans threw gifts onstage...and it was later thrown back to the audience.

I swear I am going broke b/c of buying kdrama boxsets and other asian dramas. ahehe. anyways just came from yesasia.com and saw that they had city hall w/ eng sub for region 1 US. The price is $134.99...lil cheaper than dvdasian.com price which is 139.95. but dang still pricey. I notice theres not alot of region 1 w/ eng subs kdrama boxset out their. it seems they release kdrama in region 3 w/ subs now 'n days. YA releases eng subs dramas for usa, but they don't release fast enough and out of all the dramas they release only a handful are good and ones that i prefer to watch. I normally buy my kdrama from yesasia.com but they do not offer a wide selection for folks in usa. anywho i really want iris boxset, but will they have one in region1? anyone noe?
Unfortunately, YA will not be releasing IRIS. Hopefully, KBS America will have it. You might want to email them to see if they plan to release their own version of the drama.

When i watched the SS501 USA DVD. It said that they wanted to come back next year.. So does that mean they will come?
Not necessarily. It's a matter of being asked (or invited) to come...and/or if their schedule permits them to come.

My friends and I are thinking of going to KMF for the first time, so we're not familiar with how the whole ticket process works. Does anyone know if they give refunds? Is it possible to save "seats/tix to your cart" or put them on hold, then decide what to do with them later (within a reasonable amount of time, or course)? Typically, is the venue filled to capacity and sold out on the night of the festival? What time does the show start? How long is it?
We'd love to go... but at the same time, if artists we care for don't go, we'd like to be able to sleep peacefully haha It's really outrageous how you have to pay so much for seats for a concert when you don't even know who's performing, but it must cost KTimes a crapload of money to rent out the entire Hollywood Bowl and have to pay for the artists. Thanks for your help in advance!
