[[Drama 2020] Do You Like Brahms?, 브람스를 좋아하세요?]

Logging back in for the first time to say that I am in love with Min Jae and Park Eun Bin! I hope they receive a lot of opportunities after this show. They are just so lovely. I can feel the experience of dating through their portrayals. The expectation and uncertainty in the early stages are so well acted. 

 

I hope they show SA's response in full to DY confession. I imagine she was crying since she had so desperately wanted to hear those words (first from DY and now JY) but when she finally hears it,  its from the wrong person at the wrong time. How frustrating for her. 

 

Not a fan of how the confession played out. It felt like an afterthought but I have to remember his character is inexperienced. But I'm glad she called him out on it, that thats not what she came to hear. 

[[Drama 2017] Because This Is My First Life 이번 생은 처음이라]

Delurking to say that I love this drama and I love this writer. The writers' past work Hogu's Love hit all the right notes for me and I'm surprised to say that Because This Life is My First did the same. I appreciate his/her? handling of acquaintance rape in her stories and the strong, but sensitive female characters. 

 

It must be because Ji Ho is a writer, but I am thinking she didn't want to be the "manic pixie dream girl" in  Se Hee's life? Which was why I think she took a step back and asked for an end to the contract. She didn't want to be convenient or someone that grows on you like the parents tried to say would happen in marriages not built on love. I am pretty satisfied with the ending though I do think WS and HR would have ended in real life.
