Hello everyone. After all the celebrations held around the world for the first year anniversary of the TKEM yesterday, I feel kinda nostalgic today. That LED advertisement at COEX was phenomenal. I don’t know if any other fandoms have done anything like that for any series/movie, and I’m not talking about kdrama only. And doing something like that a year after the series has ended – WOW! And all those well thought of gifts that fans around the world (again) sent to the main cast – absolutely amazing. I really hope the cast was able see the LED advertisement even if they did not go there physically. Hoping it was shared to them somehow.

 

I was happy that our king posted something yesterday. Looks like he is enjoying some “me” time and he deserves to relax and recharge after working hard on Pachinko. I won’t deny that I was also hoping that our queen would post something, anything but she didn’t. I guess she must be really busy.

 

Anyway, since this is the only “public” forum I post in, I would just like to shout out to the organizers of the LED advertisement – Black Heart Universe; the amazing gifts to the main cast – Leeeul Fandom and Taera-byte and of course to the Royal Court Ladies – thank you for organizing all these activities to celebrate this one of a kind drama. Glad to have been a small part of this. A year later and I have not moved on at all, in fact became more attached to our royal couple and though I don’t ship them publicly as I don’t have SNS, in my heart I continue to pray for a happy ever after ending for them. I am still in Alice’s rabbit hole so to speak.

 

So I am really happy to see that there are still many who feel as I do. I’m happy to see some pioneers of this thread come back and post something – @graceyco, @heretorant, @ladylia257. @Heretorant – your contributions have helped me understand and admire LMH more as you have been his long time fan. Welcome back ladies.

 

Many friendships have been made because of TKEM, because of LMH and KGE. This indeed is something that we all need now. At a time when we need to stay apart physically, at least in our hearts we are close. And hopefully, the hearts of our royal couple are already one.

Happy Monday everyone. It’s the start of another week. This is only my second time to post in this forum. A belated thank you to those who welcomed me very early this year. Thank you also to all those who continue to provide content in this forum. Really grateful as I am not really active in social media.

 

After the storm that we had last week, we’re probably in for another drought in terms of “coincidental” posts I would presume. But I could be wrong of course. My logical mind tells me that it was just a coincidence that LMH and KGE posted on the same day, almost the same time after not posting for weeks. They are currently and supposedly on opposite sides of the world, with an ocean between them and a time difference of more than 12 hours. How is it possible that these posts are so well timed if they are not communicating? Also, if they did not want fans to speculate, if they are indeed friends and are communicating as such, they should know better than to do such acts. It’s impossible that they do not know that the whole world is rooting for them to become a real couple. Coincidence? But as many have already said, there have been too many coincidences that one is left to ponder what the heck is really going on? 

 

I just finished watching TKEM (again!) last week. I am reminded of what Lee Lim said when he was informed that Prince Buyeong visited the bookstore which was the traitors’ headquarters. Lee Lim’s right hand guy said that it was probably just a coincidence that Prince Buyeong had visited the bookstore out of the blue. Lee Lim replied that coincidences are actually what is meant to be. Meaning things happen because they are meant to happen.

 

So for the nth coincidence, I say, this was meant to happen.

Hello everyone. I’ve decided to unlurk just this once after backreading this thread from page one in Oct 2020. Of course I have tried to keep up with news about our couple since I discovered this forum. I started watching kdramas only during this pandemic upon the recommendation of colleagues. I only came to know about LMH and KGE after accidentally watching TKEM after it had already aired. And only after I had also watched their presscon, BTS and other content where there was interaction between them that “I fell in love” with them and have since been praying that someday they would end up together irl. I know nothing about the “Korean showbiz” industry. I am also new to this concept of shipping and I actually feel I am too old for this.  In the past few months, I have come to know that this shipping business is surely a test of patience and trust in our couple, that what we have seen and what they have shown us are not delusions. At least I really hope they are not.   otherwise I may need to see a shrink then. LOL.

 

On the onset I would like to apologize for this long post but I just really wanted to get a few things off my chest. First, thank you to all of you who have contributed to this thread. I do not have any social media account so I rely a lot on this forum. You have helped me get to know LMH and KGE and I am very happy to note that they are not your “usual” actor and actress. Aside from amazing acting skills and dedication to their craft, they seem to have heart and soul and conviction. Both are compassionate and have minds of their own.  I am now a fan of both. Your contributions and analysis have comforted and assured me that I am not delusional. And you have all made me laugh. 

 

The second thing is about the SBS DA. I know a lot has already been said in this forum but I would just like to say – it must have been really difficult for LMH to attend and accept his award which he truly deserved. At least that is what I saw which many people also acknowledged. As you all have said, LMH also has expressive eyes. But I feel more for KGE. She did a fantastic job with her portrayal of JTE and Luna – and as with all her other work, she always delivers much more than what the role calls for. I did not watch the dramas of the other two nominees but based on what was shown as each nominee was introduced during the awards, KGE was by far, the better actress objectively speaking. So I don’t know what the basis was. I felt and still feel bad for her. And then she posts a “congratulatory” and message of support to LMH. Wow, what a girl! For months after the TKEM airing she showed nothing to link her to LMH except for the Nov 8 picture. And then she does this. Truly a brave and bold move given the Hallyu status of LMH and the haters. Amazing woman! I know all of us are hoping that this means much more than a former co-star showing support. At least that is what I am wishing for. 

 

I know that KGE is a strong person but even strong people can get hurt. So I am praying that she will once again rise above this incident, hopefully with LMH by her side.  This Korean showbiz industry seems to be quite a “harsh one”, at least from my point of view. I also think SK is too small for the calibers of LMH and KGE. I would love to see them on the global stage, Hollywood eventually? LMH is starting with Pachinko, I hope KGE will follow suit.
