Thanks for the insights. I am skeptical if the spreading is good or bad for them. I did read in the previous pages that there are some aspect of lazy journalism where the media partake the info seen on social media postings and make scandalous reports out of it. For china cp fans, they are keeping it very tongue tied about the incident to prevent anti fans ( they got alot of those) from stirring up a fan war.
Having said that, what I see is that this incident is not virally spread in korea and so far media reports are quite factual. It may also be of yj intent to get more public attention in this matter to convey 'her message' across. My two cents. Cheers

Hi all,
I believe the past few days after Beaksang has been a roller-coaster coaster ride for most of us, albeit most of them are good signs. Have diligently read through the pages, I am here to share my take of the ongoing situation. I'm personally more concerned with they ongoing and future plans as I believe all the past actions (denials) were done for a good reason which I think there is nothing to debate about. Open for discussion
Baeksang - the turning point
Alot of posts have pointed out that Baeksang awards is the last major event which both hb and yj attended together, thus it is considered as the 'last hurdle' to cross. Assuming they won't want to steal the limelight at the event or get bombarded by their colleagues about their relationship during the event, they would chose to lay low from the time up to the award ceremony, which they did. This was especially for YJ where she literally disappeared in social media, interviews and work events for the past 4 months which indeed caused some concerns in us. However, to our relief, she totally surprised all as she sprung out in a perfectly radiant and cheerful self during Baeksang which meant that she had a good recharge and rest during the past months. So it is no longer intriguing why she had been low profile for these month, to the extent not milking her popularity to take up more endorsements and work. She has purposely done that to avoid potential critics and ultimately avoid any attention on their relationship so as not to overshadow the event when both attend together. And coincidentally (or not), we can see her more active on social media (her likes and posting) and their respective companies posting their work videos and updates after the ceremony.
After Baeksang
I would always have thought they would and would be wise for them to remain low profile till the day they announced but gosh(!?) I am wrong from the interactions we saw for the past few days. On hindsight, I would say what they have done, esp yj, after the award ceremony was unexpected but a even smarter way to handle the situation.After crossing the Baeksang hurdle, they will not have any event to attend together and no longer need to face the pressure from media and friends, thus this is a turning point where they can emerge from their shell and be more open on the relationship (example YJ IG Likes) . So now we have to understand why they chose to take this path to give subtle hints to all instead of keeping a low profile till annoucement. By doing such movements, they are slowly conditioning the fans, media and peers out there to hint them about their relationship, instead of a big bang approach when they suddenly annouce with no prior hints at all. Should they do the sudden announcement, alot of their fans, especially diehard anti cp fans would be very disconstructed, and may potentially become anti fans causing a fanwar. This is detrimental, specifically to hb as you would know that he values love and support from fans alot. Their subtle way to reveal the truth is an intelligent way to convert these fans out to accept the truth and give them their blessings. But all these has to be done tactfully so as not to generate negative critics. Her ig likes is of good intent for this cause but it caused some stir that day so it is actually wise for us not to proporgate such incident which may be blown out of proportion when it is known to media or anti fans.
Moving forward
Many of us are eager to know whats in the cards for them. So as I said in the previous paragraph, if I guess correctly, they will be more open on their relationship in their respective work areas, be it their interviews (hb cueing yj in smart) or even having cf collaboration (manyo website ad shot). All these are subtle movements to test the fans reactions so that they are taking to best approach. They are treading on thin ice now, taking calculated and tactful moves to make sure all turns out well. I hope those diehard fans can catch those hints and be psychologically prepared. As in the golden ticket question on when they would announce, this is dependable on fans reaction and it is also important to consider the consistency of the prior development and previous denials. We know that the last denial was Feb at the end of the show. While we all know that they should be together since Jan 2019, the official statement is that they are not together up till Feb 2020 due to the denial. To prevent speculations that the previous statement is flawed, should they announce the relationship, the statement should be along the line that theh develop feelings with each other after the drama wrap up and the timeline should start earliest Feb 2020. If this is the case, the annoucement for marriage can not be so fast else it would seem unbelievable. If they annouced just the relationship now, then even now is the right time (4 months). Imo, i think they will announced marriage directly thus I predict their annoucement should be sometime after Feb, prehaps year end or beginning next year.

All in all, I feel both of them are in their good form now ( from their cf shots) and all the signs are pointing to the right direction. Their baeskang interaction as I said in the previous post is nothing short of sweet if we closely look at the off cam interactions and the new candies we are seeing this few days. I totally admire their matured and intelligent way of handling their relationship, and I believe with time and space given to them, they will reach the destination very soon. Cheers

From what i interpreted from weibo, Chinese couple shipping fans are keeping things low for Yj Ig liking spree as somehow it is not in the likes of hb or Yj non couple fans. Apparently Hb or Yj non couple Chinese fans are not in favour of couple shipping, thus this incident is intentionally covered up to prevent further clashes, but cp fans are well aware what happened last night. Other than that, everyone are jubilant about today's fresh dosage of photos and footages.
Additionally, there seems to be an abnormality in HB's Official weibo page where he posted two weibo posts consecutively for yesterday and today. His last update was in Feb about covid. Moreover, his comment on his post today is to wish everyone healthy, which was quite out of the blue. So some fans jokingly linked it to the heart attack yj caused from her liking spree. Although most likely this account was managed by vast staff, it seems to be a paced and coordinated act for the hype over these two days:)

Ps. Also confident now that the account was not hacked as it is all clear on korea side, no reports on her account being hacked, her ig is still intact - not taken down and there id no further macilious ig activities.

Yes, she did post an hour ago but liking 20-30 posts continuously seems not very normal for her style.
For the benefit of doubt, I think is better that we keep it low for now and dont further circulate the screenshots of the' liked post'
If it is an act of a hacker, it might be detrimental for the ship. And yj may close off her ig account if it is truly hacked.

Worry about her account could be hacked? But then again saw that she did commented an hour again on songyoona's post
Fingers crossed that it is not the act of a hacker.

Echo the calls that we should be sensible and responsible fans and respect their and their staff public domain and account.
To think of it, Yejin has been active on social media until the LA pic where there are much fanfare and scrunity generated on her private life. The pressure has been much worse after the fandom from cloy and such bombarding is definitely disrupting her online interactions with her friends and her willingness to share openly her private side of life, eg her travels and food experience.
Even with this pressure from fans, she is still considered magnanimous not to make her account private, or shut off the public comment function and had even share post from time to time, albeit lower frequency. I think we got to be sensible and not to take that for granted.
Can I suggest not to share any post or comments made by her staff or acquaintances as anyone could have made out of proportion given that this is a public forum, accessible by all. If you want to share such stuff, mask out the id or name at least to protect their privacy.

Well said and on point. Interesting perspective from a male's point of view which did not deviate much from what most of us think.
Quoted the last paragraph on the interesting opinion 'Bin you look at what he does, but with Jin you look at what she does not do', this indeed sums up their mannerism and behaviour well. Lol. But I do see an improvement in Jin's elusive self in the recent BAA as she seems to be more receptive to Bin jin interactions (eg. Like turning back to look out for him on the stage even though there was a camera panning at them) and reciporcating Hb's signs of affections (subtle ones). Additionally, she openly acknowledged gift receipts from binjin fans which I thought was quite surprising based on her usual character.
All in all, all these acts points to good sign for this ship. Cheers

I'm not sure where that set of the Seri dolls (in glass box) came from, it was not from the gifts sent by china binjin fans. So for the gift set from Chinese fans, she only took out the fabric Seri doll to post. Additional note is that the sender stated that they did put down somewhere in the card or book their id tag ( which is heartbeat_binjin). So ye jin should be aware is from cf fans.

It was clarified by the sender on weibo that they send a doll each to vast and ms stream. So it was not passed to her via vast. However, they added that there was a cloy photo book accompanied containing mostly riri couple materials so it should be clear to her it was a couple gift. But to most Chinese fans, for ye jin to openly acknowledge a couple's gift is actually very surprising given that she is usually very elusive about the r/s. In the way, she is telling fans that she is happy with the gifts and acknowledge all the well wishes and thus indirectly telling fans they are all well.

Yes. 'Uplift his spirit' is the word. From the way they supported and complemented each other, we can tell that they are very mature in handling and protecting the r/s. What I can say is that Hb is very fortunate to have such understanding partner who understand his work, career and support him in everything. Very confident that they will walk to the end, to marriage.
Additional titbit, on top of seo Dan's part when they are caught chatting happily,maybe some may have shared here. But to those who feel the couple is not on good terms and hb to be aloof, please see this. This was caught off screen when the camera accidentally capture ye jin when they are announcing the TV male Newcomer. I don't think ye jin can be so happy talking to him if they are not in good terms.

Hi, i dont usually post but saw that there is alot of discussion and alternative views going on which triggered my eagerness to share my view of yesterday's event. Views are welcomed.
Binjin interactions
Alot comments surfaced citing bin seems aloof to jin and not on form which I disagree. Their interaction throughout the event was kind of expected to me, at least not to the extent of dropping big hints about their r/s . I never expected them to be lovely dovely and be upright close for such an event and what's more, yesterday's mood is kind of sombre due to covid. On top of that bin was clearly nervous yesterday due to his high expections for the acting award. He definitely has improved in controlling his gazes to jin but that's not aloof (recall how he behaved at the first part of cloy press Con). Despite the fact that we don't have much shots of them throughout the session, the short snippets we saw are all telltale signs of their affection. I guess there is no need to elaborate further as there are so many pictures and proofs. Their r/s is definitely not one that is showing upright pda but subtle actions and acts to show they care and look out for each other. That is what it takes for a long term r/s to go strong and lasting.
Bin's reaction, behaviour
Bin was clearly uptight and anxious thoughout the show and had shown high desire to clinch the best actor award. He was figiting with his fingers during the annoucement and when announced, his expression tells everything that he was clearly disappointed. His disappointment perpetuated in the post event interview and shot with jin as he seemed to lack smile and happiness which caused people to cast doubts about their r/s. My heart goes to him as well, this is one award that I truly felt is a pity for bin given that it is such a close shave to an award from his last big award. However, the good thing is that jin was there to support him as she tried to minimise his sense of sadness which was evident when she tried to round things up during the backstage interview by consistently thanking the supporters etc. In a bubbly mood. Personally, I believe she will be there to support bin with her ample experience in award shows and get him out of this down time. I guess nothing beats more than a life partner or soul mate that understands your work, thoughts and feelings, and support you in whatever at her level best.
Jin's reaction, behaviour
Jin was clearly not after the actress award yesterday as she was in a totally relax and spectator mode. She surprised us with her top form yesterday and clearly a different self she used to portray. From cloy interviews, she was usually the elusive, protective one and don't openly display her thoughts or affection (unlike someone). However, yesterday, not just the reporters' shots which displayed her vibrant smiles openly to bin, she also took a different stance on stage, in her speech and in the interviews to drop subtle hints. She is no longer stonic and has become the radiant one. One is to help cover up for the disappointed bin to thank the fans on behalf of herself/bin, she also assured us in the couple backstage interview that she is very blissful everyday. Isnt this subtlely dropping hints to fans to reveal that we should not be too panicky and worry about their r/s as they are going strong and happy. It is a good thing to me that jin is slowly moving out of her protective shell and telling us more info, this may be part of her move for bigger plans in the future.
All in all, whilst I'm disappointment about cloy's haul yesterday, especially with Bin's miss, I'm a satisfied with bin jin's interaction and progress and am sure the ship is still going strong. The couple affection for each other is still strong to me and they are all proven by their actions and words. I am definitely a fan of their low profile yet strong way to show care n love for each other which to me is most important for a r/s to last and withstand any challenges to come.
Moving forward, we have to be prepared for binjin drought again, my take is they will not do cf together at this moment. But being low profile has its merit for them. It is only that their r/s will grow stronger without the public scruntiy and fanfare ( this is how their r/s progress rapidly during TN right when no much people knows about them). Understand this is at the expense of fans like us dreading for their content, but ultimately this is what it takes for ship to sail and it is not to satisfy fans right?

Interesting, Never know about such rule. Since popularity vote counts are open, we will know for sure if Bin jin is leading when voting closes. So if they lead the votes but didn't get the popularity award but the runner up got it that night, does it mean they would have gotten the best actor, actress award?

However, getting the Most Popular Awards means the chance of getting Best Actor/Actress or Daesang is going to be minimal... I expect some of you say that it should be a fair competition but this is how awards ceremonies work in SK.
I'm not discouraging any of you who are voting for Binjin but let's be more realistic. If you look back at the winners of the Most Popular Awards, majority were idols or young actors except SS couple. What SK viewers may perceive, in the worst scenario, is HB and YJ being the veteran actors steal the awards from the youngsters...
I don't have how baeksang works. Is there may precedence whereby the actor or actress bag home both popularity and best actor/ actress?
If baeksang works in the way to prevent that, it is somehow unfair as the two awards are of two different scoring metric since popularity votes are reflective of public votes count while best acting is based in professional acting calibre.
I do agree the best acting award is what binjin should vye for but as fans, I guess this is the only way for us to show support.

Happy and satisfied with the nomination. CLOY is given its due recognition for the hardwork from all staff and of course binjin. As much as i hope Cloy will bag all nominations, we know it is unlikely, so here are my prediction for the main awardsDaesang : CLOY
Best Drama : Hot stove league or KingdomDeasang, being the highest regard in the wholee award show, should rightfully be awarded to someone or a drama which has made great influential impact for the past one year in the Kdrama scene. I guess nothing comes close to CLOY as we seen how popular and influential cloy is domestically and internationally and it is an all rounder in terms of all departments from script, actors/tress to drama setting . As for best drama, if Cloy Bags the Daesang, it is likely they will give it to others entries or to those from another network, point of reference to 2015 Daesang is Dots, best drama to signal.
Best actor : Hyun Bin
Best actress : Kim Hee Ae ( World of married couple)Analysed best actor and actress together and arrived at this conclusion. If CLOY team is given Deasang or best drama, i guess they will give another personal acting award to cloy acting department .I think It is unlikely they will give both best actor and actress to the same drama(not seen in recent history). So between Bin and Jin, bin stands a higher chance given less competition in the male department. The female department faces a strong fight from Kim Hee Ae who got raving reviews for her acting chops in wotm. For Hyun Bin, his competition is from NamKoong Min but i feel Bin stands a higher chance given his higher starpower and international popularity from Cloy (on a personal note, i think it is a good thing BinJin dont win together as this will add much pressure to their relationship if they want to continue being in low profile, whats more, Bin is my favorite to bag his actor award as he have not got high profile acting related award since his 2011 Daesang but Jin already got many actress award through the years)
Best Male Supporting : Yoo Jae Myung (itaewon class)
Best Female Supporting : Son Dambi or Yeon Hye ran ( When the Camelia blows)While i root strongly for both Cloy supp actor and actress , there are other many factors leading to my conclusion. For male supporting, Yang Kyung-won played well his supporting role but his character is largely comical and lacks opportunity to showcase acting chops. Yoo's character in itaewon class has won audience in his exchange with park though his over the top acting and performance. As for female supporting, i was quietly rooting for the actress playing seo dan's mother to be nominated as she surprised us so much from her other character in parasite (glad that she was nominated under parasite though she didnt get nominated) . Both Seo Ji hye and Kim sun yeon has delivered their roles well but baring the fact that now all the acting award are given to network channels, they may give this to the supporting actress from Camelia blows, which is mainstream Tv network
Will not comment on technical awards like director and screenplay as I am no professional in this. Will quietly root for CLOY entries especially screenplay for the out of ordinary and heart wrenching cloy storyline.
Fighting to all CLOY nominees and our BinJin couple:)!!
