The doctor she met with when she was small clearly said that "she was slower then most". And on various occasions she did prove that she was slow- like her just standing there with her flashlight on, while knowing that there was someone in the apartment with her, the way she just stood there while the profiler was being choked and hung... also, her going into dangerous places alone, several times, is not very intelligent. There were two occasions already that she should have died in- the time she was caught in the apartment, and in the ice factory (?). The only reason she wasn't dead was because the killer suddenly wasn't interested in killing anymore. And slow doesn't mean dumb...

I actually don't know to which occasions you are pointing to when you are saying she has shown emotional intelligence... I am being sincere. I have no idea! She is a nice girl, that is very brave (to the point of being careless) with exceptional memory. That's all I've seen by now. 

As to why OHJ wants to work with her- I think it's because she is an outsider, so he can be certain she wasn't involved in what happened 5 years before. It's clear he doesn't trust anyone in that police station. Also, he knows everything about her, meaning he knows she is honest and idealistic, so he can trust her.

I'm sure the show is leading to a place in which both will help each other heal. That's a no brainer. I just don't think it's through a romantic connection. More than anything- because OHJ is not ready for a romance (and it's an OCN show  )

people aren't 100% perfect at work !- Not just you -but a lot of people are pointing every tiny thing , do you think people are perfectttt all the time at work ??? I think this is just  nitpicking at the mistakes that she made . but that's how life is .. you make so many mistakes before you become a professional , especially a job like this where there's so much room for mistakes to happen ! And it's very normal to freeze in risky and dangerous situations it's not like she was chasing criminals her whole life , she was working in a quite countryside where nothing really happened , like saving a goat was a big deal ! And it's all part of her journey to grow and become better ! She's the underdog here .

I say this as I've been working ( a normal job not chasing criminals with a hot guy unfortunatly )  for a couple of years and everybody make mistakes at some point , of course we wish we could be perfect and never do anything wrong but it's impossible , that's how you learn .. so I just don't get why people are so mad at her .

Does anyone know the frog boys case ? It's a real case that happened in Korea where 5 boys went missing and then later the bodies where found and they still didn't catch the killer ! The police was so stupid they did  so manyyy mistakesss , horrible mistakes , they didn't search well , the most suspicious place was the military base and they didn't investigate in there ! when they found the bones of the bodies they arranged them in a wrong way it was horrible !! and it's a real case ! it was so heart breaking !( You can find it on youtube) That's why I wasn't frustrated with the police on the drama ! Do you think police in real life r smart and great ???????? most of them r bad and incompetent and do nothinggg !! There r so many cases where the police didn't help in anything or even made things worse ! If you watch cases or mysteries you would know ! most of the time police suckssss so if anything maybe that's the only realistic thing about the drama !

 

Anyway..

I wish we could talk to the writer and ask him for some romance between JH and CSY !! I loooooved the scene when she found out she was part of his plan and he was so frustrated he dropped the shelves thingy , and how she was so firm about not going back , it was great . Although I still think he needs to get over his fiancee fist which I don't think it's gonna happen soon ..

EP 6 was sooo good I couldn't take my head off the screen . The child story is heartbreaking  I hope they can save him ! can't wait for Sat .

I think SY is the hero of the story so far , I mean she's doing most of the work . not just a photogenic memory but she's sharp eyed always running and working , of course she's not that good cuz she's the undedog hee , she has to make mistakes at first so we can watch her grow and become good , she's s a rooki she can't be perfect from the start ! It's confusing why people are complaining about her making mistakes I mean she's an excited rooki who wants to prove herself .

 

My problem with this drama is that it's a bit boring ! it's too dark and serious , the color palate of the screen is mostly black / dark blue and it makes it kinda gloomy . I think it may need more comedy or romance ( like Signal it was great ) to change things up a bit , because the whole time this drama has the same mood and pace . SY looks very realistic , always rough and police-like looking but I'd love to see her made up or sth ! 

 

 the end of ep4 when the police was just watching the man die was so frustrating I mean they knew sth was gonna happen , they should've jumped in and done sth ! 

 

and there r too much scenes on the evil detectives which Idc bout ! They should focus more on the leads .

 before the drama was aired everybody was excited fo JH but so fa there isn't much of him , I'm sure we'll see more of him but it's just going too slow !!

 

SY parts r my fave , her eyes r so big and expressive I wish people would acknowledge her acting more . I'm gonna keep watching this for her . the directing is amazing too , some shots r so beautiful !! 

 

 

what's with the babysitting comments ? That's the team work of this drama ?? HE has experience , he knows the guy more than anyone but he can't go and chase him so he guides her !  If not , what is JH supposed to do ? and she helps with that photogenic memory ( which the drama is all about from the beginning ) so together they can can catch him... at some point at least !

anyone had teary eyes in the scene where SY saves the poor woman , the whole scene when she found the bodies was so intense !!

 

wow you guys analyze everything ! I love reading them , this is my first time doing this forum thing just because I was so excited about this drama ! and I'm loving it !! the whole cast are ace and the story is soo engaging .

I have a theory about jin seo-yeon , so Jang hyuk lost his fiancee , and there's a pic of jang hyuk with his finance and jin seo yeun together . When JH asked JSY why is she going after the serial killer she said she had a reason so I think that she was in love with his fiancee too !!

 

I loved the 1st ep , everybody did a great job . the story is very exciting too . I found Cha sooyoung very likable , can't wait to see more of her .
