  1. KIM SO-HYUN AND MONGSUK

The Nation's Little Sister, actress Kim So-hyun, posts lots of pics to her Instagram page, but none are more lovable than her selfies with Mongsuk. The white Maltese has been seen wearing the tiniest sweaters, sunglasses, and the cutest Snapchat face filters. They often spend whole weekends just hanging out together!

  2. V AND YEONTAN

Fans of the sensational K-pop band BTS lit up Twitter yesterday with their responses to singer V's reunion with his pooch Yeontan. "I LOVE YOU BOTH MY ANGELS" one excited fan wrote. The teacup Pomeranian, who fans also call "Tannie," follows V around constantly and is a fixture in the band's lives. The small dog most recently appeared in BTS' official movie trailer, looking dapper and, as always, adorable!

It will be Kim's second time working with Kim Eun-sook following the hit drama "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God," also known as "Goblin," which aired in 2016-17.

The studio said "The King" follows in the footsteps of Kim's previous surreal love stories, including "Secret Garden" and "Guardian."

The new drama is scheduled to be broadcast in the first half of next year. (Yonhap)

  4. Following Lee Min Ho, Kim Go Eun Confirmed To Star In 'The King: The Eternal Monarch'

Following Lee Min Ho, Kim Go Eun Reunites With Screenwriter Kim Eun Sook

Following Lee Min Ho's footstep, actress Kim Go Eun will reunite with screenwriter Kim Eun Sook in the upcoming drama “The King: The Eternal Monarch”.

According to a Korean media report, Kim Eun Sook's upcoming drama "The King: Eternity Monarch" is confirmed to have another star Kim Go Eun, who previously worked with Kim Eun Sook on the hit drama "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God", also known as "Goblin", which aired in 2016-17.

Korean drama production company Hwa&Dam Pictures on May 20 announced that Kim Go Eun has been cast in a leading role for the upcoming drama.

A staff from the company said, “‘The King: The Eternal Monarch’ will be a fantasy romance drama that goes between two parallel universes of the Republic of Korea and the Empire of Korea. Kim Go Eun will take on two different roles, as a detective Jeong Tae Eul in the Republic of Korea and the criminal Luna in the Empire of Korea.”

“It’s not easy to play two completely different characters of a detective and a criminal. We believe that with Kim Go Eun’s versatility as an actress, which she has shown in her various films and in her role in ‘Goblin’ where she showed great depth as her character grew from a girl to a mature woman, she will be able to successfully take on the two different characters,” He stated.

Actor Lee Min Ho has been cast as the male lead for the drama. He worked with Kim Eun Sook on “Heirs”.

Lee Min Ho is said to be portraying a role of an emperor named Lee Gon, who wants to close the door that connects the two dimension for good in one world, and a detective who protects his loved ones, in the other world. The pair is, reportedly, going to go against their greatest nemesis: The Devil.

The upcoming drama "The King: The Eternal Monarch" is set to begin filming in the second half of the year, and will premiere sometime in 2020.
