Movie 1987 When the day comes 

I just watched 1987, and it was powerful.  Amazing cast, powerful message, and it was not dumbed down for the audience.  S. Korea, at the time, was corrupt from the President to the military to the police.  Despite the massive cover-up, ordinary citizens like Kang Dong Won's character resisted and sacrificed.  KDW came to NYC last summer to receive an award at the NYC Asian Film Festival.  He had mentioned the film, and I think he had just filmed his scenes.  So I kept my eye out for it.  Everyone should watch this film!
