  1. Hm it looks like the cafe is taking a long time to give overseas fans access to the 2nd teaser. I have actually recorded the teaser for share with a friend privately, but seeing at how slow the cafe is at solving the problem, I would like to share it with fellow shippers here too for the time being. Desperate measures for desperate times right? I'll open a private group chat here in soompi to watch it, so please PM me and I'll add you in (please don't spam this thread, private message me directly thanks) I'll take down the video once the cafe fixes their video restriction problem.

@May Low This part. Especially when HHJ answered that and when BSB said what he said.

The chinese translation is a bit weird too, so maybe that's why the english translation came out a bit weird

That part is better translated as

Reporter : Who do you think will receive the flower bouquet today?

HHJ (looking towards BSB): I have no idea...

BSB: Not sure...but I don't think it's going to be Hyojoo-sshi (broke out into laughter)

HHJ: (broke into her special laughter) and faster walk away

It's so nice to see the whole Dong Yi team gathered again ^^ Takes me back to 2010 hehe

Haha Chingu @svenjahsu I believe there will have or else it doesn't justify that 300 bucks that I paid for the DVD..we should see :D

Don't worry there will be :P The cafe team explained that because the approximate numbers aren't out yet for the Makings and NGs, they aren't able to provide the info at the moment. Though they did say that they'll try to squeeze in as much as they possibly can into the discs :)

Hello, anyone knows for the dvd director cut goodies, there's a 50p book, is it a comic book or just a normal picture book?

And the script only contains 1 volume?

    Thx!

It's a 50p conti book, aka storyboard book. For reference, it's something like this:

    79227F2.JPG

And I think the script will most likely be 2 volumes, it'll be a bit too thick for one volume.

They're still in negotiation for other goodies too so there might be the vol 34 comic book or another photo book (different from the photo essay that was released recently).

  5. Just a reminder for those that want to purchase the W D-cut, the Bluray preorder is ongoing until Sept. 20th! Only 3 days left!

You can purchase through this link here:  http://shop.innolife.com/item.php?grp=1&cid=360&iid=193481&lng=1

The D-Cut team has said that they need at least 1000 orders by Sept. 20th in order for the Bluray version to be produced. As of Sept. 13th, the total amount of orders already made amounts to only 473 copies. As you can see, that's only close to half-way to their goal of 1000. I'll update with more current numbers once they put up their notice on Monday (or when they get back from their Chuseok long holiday). The D-Cut team has said that if the Bluray version fails and only DVD version can be produced, then their enthusiasm/ability to fight for more BTS/makings and goodies from the production company will also drop. This means that there's a possibility that we won't get as much extra footages/goodies in the D-Cut if that happens.

So if you're able, please support the Bluray version and help the D-Cut team make the Bluray version possible :)

On a side note: After the special aired today, there has been alot more people asking about and buying the Bluray on W DC Gallery (Korea main W message board)! I guess MBC did something good hehe

Does anyone know how the pre-order of the Director's Cut of this DVD is doing? It's such an intricate drama, I had mentioned that I'm interested in seeing the Director's Cut version where they won't be restricted by the broadcaster. Still interested, but I know that if the pre-order isn't large enough, they won't do it at all. I think I saw that the pre-order ends on September 20, so still some time left, but still curious whether it's looking positive or negative. The pre-order Director's Cut seems to only be in BluRay, plus they are priced so high anyway. Not sure which dramas generate enough people wanting to spend that kind of money on Director's Cuts. Most of the time, I'm happy with the broadcast version. Thanks in advance for any info.

I believe if you pre-ordered and go to their cafe to register for higher membership power, you can see the current standing of the number of pre-orders made. I already pre-ordered my copy but I'm too lazy to ask for the higher membership power since you need to upload proof of purchase and whatnot. Right now they're taking pre-orders for Bluray only, and the bluray version will only be produced if Bluray pre-order numbers reach 1000 by Sept 20th. If not, there won't be Bluray version, only DVD version. I remember them saying they'll open the DVD pre-orders after the Bluray ones. Last I read on their bbs, I think they only mentioned that the Director is positively considering the D-cut. So I think there's a high chance that it'll be produced.

There is only two plausible explanations for them treating W differently then the rest of their past dramas.

One reason: The two main leads have developed romantic feelings for one another during the course of filming. There are only so many BTS clips that can be shown in which wouldn't "out" them as a real life couple which is why we as viewers get such a sporadic array of BTS from different episodes/same episodes. To me even though they have devoted fans they are sitting in the range where a drama cant be too comfortable with the ratings lead. Especially since you have 2 major competitions. Now typically if there is a decline in ratings what the broadcasting company will do is release a BTS kiss scene to keep interest on the main leads. We saw a slight dip after episode 7. now we can blame the olympics thats fine. However it still doesn't explain why they are keeping ALL the kiss scenes to themselves and pretty much all the OTP moments hidden. Especially after so many dips within the ratings over the past few episodes. Also why cut the BTS down so much where these clips that are released are not even considered "traditional" anymore. The golden rule is if their is nothing to hide then their is no problem showing it. Which is the case for almost all dramas. "W" and "Blood" are a different case.

Second reason: DVD promotion, I highly doubt this is the primary case because DVD sales are highly reliant on the promotion of the drama during the course of airing. Not solely on suspicion that the DVD sales will be highly profitable whilst disregarding on-air promotion. There are times where Dramas don't even produce a DVD cut version of the drama because typically companies are solely focused on the "now" versus the later that by the end of it its not a possibility. That's why leaving all the potential profits is slightly risky. I have never encountered a DVD cut that has included the amount of extended BTS clips from OTP's that hasn't aired yet. Which makes me suspicious that even if they are making a DVD cut version it WILL NOT INCLUDE what we actually want to see.

*MBC has never done this much cutting/piecing and hesitations before because they have never encountered two main leads being SO CLOSE.

About the DVD, maybe that's one of the reasons. The W D-Cut Team are going to open up the pre-ordering for the W D-cut Bluray tomorrow Korean time. I don't know if this is an indication that the D cut definitely will be released (last I heard, they're still waiting on the director and the writer's decision), though the possibility seems high with them opening up the pre-ordering so soon.

I have actually bought a lot of D cuts before for various Korean drama series in the past, and they do usually contain a lot of new BTS clips. The Japanese DVDs usually contain A LOT of BTS too (sometimes a lot more than the Korean version). Since this series will be airing in Japan, there is a high chance that MBC sold the BTS to the Japanese for their DVD release. I've seen them do this before (not just MBC, but the other stations as well). I own a couple of the Japan version DVDs for korean dramas so I can attest to this.

  8. While waiting for new episodes, I've been thinking about the rules regarding the teleporting/summoning between the real world and webtoon world. I walked away from episode 12 feeling like everything in episodes 1-12 finally made perfect sense to me (and all the big questions, or seemingly bugs, I had before were all generally answered). I see comments about the writer not stating what the rules are before altering them, but I feel like the writer did tell us. At least up till episode 13 happened. With this new rule in episode 13 (hypothesis 3) added into the mix, it certainly makes it a lot more complex.

Obviously my thoughts can change with the remaining three episodes, and since episode 14 was supposed to be paired with 13, who knows, maybe my questions now about Hypothesis 3 might be solved in 14. BUT I just want to throw my current thoughts out there, so entertain them if you will :) I apologize for it being really long. I actually wrote this for myself to help me organize and reason out everything that has happened so far, but then figured after I wrote it that I'd throw it out onto the internet as well lol...maybe it'll be helpful to someone (???) or maybe it can incite some discussion? There are some small assumptions on my part, but it's the only way I can have it all make sense in my head right now.

    I'll put this under spoiler tag because it is really really long ^^;

    ---
I'll start out with the rules as we know them from the drama:

Hypothesis #1: A main character from the webtoon can summon a person from the real world into the webtoon.

Extension to Hypothesis #1: Summoned person is usually summoned to a location in close proximity to the summoner.

Hypothesis #2: If a mission is complete, the "to-be-continued" chryon appears and the real world summoned-person is sent back to the real world.

Extension to Hypothesis #2: From the previous episodes, we know that a climatic ending (or huge change in Kang Chul's emotions) triggers the "ejection" button as well.

Hypothesis #3: A main character (who lives in the real world) can summon main characters in the webtoon into the real world by thinking about them.

Definition of "Main character": All the characters in the W comic book that appeared in the intro pages with their own character descriptions. This includes Kang Chul, Do Yoon, So Hee, NoFace, Assemblyman Han. Does not include Yeon Joo, this is very important.
    ---

    Assumption:

Yeon joo is (main) real world person / (sub) webtoon person
Kang Chul is (main) webtoon person / (sub) real world person

As the drama progresses, our OTP is intermingling into each other's worlds because of their relationship with one another. I'm not going to say that the wedding ring is the cause of this, but let's take it as a symbolism that their lives are joined together and so are influencing one another's status in the two respective worlds. That's why we see that Yeon Joo, who was originally invincible in the webtoon world, suddenly can be hurt by a kitchen knife after their marriage. She is gaining characteristics of a webtoon person as the new female lead.
    ---

Application to the events in the story, starting from the beginning:

    1) Yeon Joo dragged in by Kang Chul through tablet. Yeon Joo saves bloodied Kang Chul on rooftop >> No hypothesis #1 at work here because she was dragged into the webtoon through tablet. Tablet is a direct medium connecting the two worlds. She gets sent back to the real world after her mission a.k.a saving Kang Chul from death is over (Hypothesis #2).

    2) Yeon Joo summoned into the webtoon by Kang Chul because he was thinking of Oh Yeon Joo, his mysterious life-saver, at the hospital (Hypothesis #1). She saves him again from the nurse's killer potassium shot. She kisses him to surprise him at the clothing store later and is ejected back into the real world (Hypothesis #2).

    3) Yeon Joo summoned again into the webtoon, unconscious in the dressing room. Either summoned by Kang Chul because he was thinking of Yeon Joo after her sudden disappearance in the dressing room (and before he had the near-accident with truck-of-doom) or summoned by So Hee because she went looking for Yeon Joo at the clothing store (Hypothesis #1). Afterwards, Yeon Joo gets sent to prison and gets ejected from webtoon world after telling Kang Chul that he is a webtoon character (Hypothesis #2).

No-Face goes into real world through tablet after KC opens the portal. No hypothesis at work here.

    4) Kang Chul jumps off Han river bridge. Yeon Joo gets "summoned" into the water because Kang Chul was thinking about her in his last moments, as said in the drama (Hypothesis #1). But it was a fleeting thought in Kang Chul's mind so she gets sent back shortly after. I'm going to assume that Kang Chul is already back in webtoon world after he suicide and in the water because he woke up in his bed in the webtoon world when Yeon Joo saves him later.

    5) Yeon Joo saves Kang Chul from Han river. The webtoon story which halted continues. How Yeon Joo gets back into the webtoon, I'm not sure, I'll just assume it's necessity of webtoon story after it comes alive again, or she drew herself in, or Kang Chul was thinking of her moments before (in the water).

    6) Disappearance and reappearance of Yeon Joo during prison confrontation/love confession scene. Hypothesis #1 and #2 at work here.

    7) OTP gets married. Yeon Joo gets sent back to real world after cutting herself with knife in the kitchen (Hypothesis #2).

    8) No-Face tries to kill Yeon Joo in real world, Kang Chul thinking of Yeon Joo and trying to find her after realizing No-Face is in real world and may go after Yeon Joo. Yeon Joo is summoned back into webtoon world by Kang Chul just before the bullet landed in her head (Hypothesis #1).

    9) Rooftop breakup scene. Kang Chul falls off rooftop and Yeon Joo is sent back to real world to make everything a dream. (Hypothesis #2)

No-Face is pulled back into webtoon world because webtoon was reset and webtoon story logic demands that he be inside webtoon at that point in time. No hypothesis at work here.

    10) The heartbreaking 3 times when Yeon Joo is pulled into webtoon world because after-reset Kang Chul has her in his subconsciousness/dreams (Hypothesis #1). Kang Chul has no conscious memories of Yeon Joo (her name+face) so Yeon Joo's stay in webtoon world are short all 3 times.

    11) Yeon Joo is summoned into the webtoon world after New-Face mass killing at broadcast station. If we go by Yeon Joo's words, she was summoned by New-Face this time around (Hypothesis #1). Why she was summoned I don't really know though I have a few plausible guesses. Probably New-Face still wanted to kill her because of her being Kang Chul's wife but decided not to afterwards since Kang Chul doesn't even remember her anymore. In Episode 13, remember how New-Face said to Yeon Joo before he shot her how he had been waiting for Kang Chul to remember her to make the kill worth it? Another reason may be New-Face just doesn't want Yeon Joo to be interferring (by interrupting New-Face controlling Daddy), so New-Face pulled Yeon Joo into the webtoon world. In Episode 11 when Yeon Joo was drawing the medical supplies for Kang Chul, New-Face tried to choke her through the tablet and asked, "When did you get out?" This line shows that New-Face consciously pulled Yeon Joo in.

A question that stems up here is, how does New-Face even know about Yeon Joo after the reset? I believe it's because No-Face merged with Daddy. I remember there was this line where New-Face said to Daddy when grabbing through the tablet, "I am now you, and you are me." I believe that it's not just the face, but everything, like the soul and his every thoughts, his entire identity is stolen (and that's why Daddy is like a puppet now). So through merging with Daddy, New-Face knows about Yeon Joo and also knows about how Daddy and KC had planned to kill off New-Face and Assemblyman Han in one sweep.

    12) Kang Chul turns into criminal and is wounded. Yeon Joo kisses him to return back to real world to help him (Hypothesis #2).

    13) Yeon pulled into webtoon world again because Assemblyman Han was thinking/looking for her (he was staring at her photo and everything). This is Hypothesis #1 again.

    14) Kang Chul and Yeon Joo go back to real world through the tablet hand-in-hand. No hypothesis at work here.

    15) This ends Yeon Joo being summoned into webtoon world for the time being. Now it's Kang Chul's time to be the "hero". Kang Chul travels in and out of the webtoon world through Hypothesis #1 and #2. He summons himself in, and comes back out when his mission is over.

This is where it gets tricky... Episode 13 introduces a new variable which is Hypothesis #3. I'm going to assume Hypothesis #3 only started happening when Kang Chul decides to "live" in the real world. So before that, when he was going through all the binders of info to think of a way to handle New-Face and Assemblyman Han, the variable didn't appear yet. So no one was summoned then. As time passes however and Kang Chul gets more and more accustomed to living in the real world "like a real person" with Yeon Joo, the new variable came to be. The two worlds are sort of "merging" in little ways because of the W protagonist living in the real world.

    16) After some days, Kang Chul "summons" So Hee and New-Face unconsciously into the real world (Hypothesis #3). People have wondered why So Hee only appeared for a brief moment, but New-Face was able to stay in the real world for a much longer time. That's also one of my questions, but I think it's probably because New-Face is already self-aware. When New-Face was summoned into the real world, he immediately realizes that he's in the real world. But So Hee is not yet self-aware and still thinks of her inside the webtoon world.

    17) New-Face, having learnt of how Kang Chul is summoning himself into webtoon world through Hypothesis #1, also uses the same method to kidnap Yeon Joo into the webtoon world. I'm pretty sure New-Face saw the online webtoon to gain this knowledge. But I personally don't think New-Face knows about Hypothesis #3 yet because by the time Kang Chul came up with it, New-Face and Yeon Joo are already in the webtoon world.

Some people have questioned why New-Face needed to go back to the webtoon world to face off with Kang Chul. Why not wait for Kang Chul to come out? I think because of two reasons. One is that New-Face realizes from his conversation with Yeon Joo that Kang Chul went into the webtoon world, hence his "let's go find Kang Chul" line. Two, in the webtoon world, he can control Daddy to draw him things. New Face has more power while in the webtoon. Or maybe New-Face just wanted to have his showdown with Kang Chul in "their" world. Why didn't New-Face just summon Kang Chul out into the real world? Because he doesn't know about Hypothesis #3 then. Or maybe it only works for Kang Chul since he's the only "main character living in the real world" (this one needs further information, it may be proven or refuted in future episodes).

    18) By the time Kang Chul realizes the new variable from listening to Do Yoon and comes up with Hypothesis #3, he uses it immediately to summon himself out of the webtoon world while in the elevator. That's why we don't see a chryon when he disappeared in front of Do Yoon. Kang Chul no longer needs Hypothesis #2 (aka chapter ending) to leave the webtoon world. He can go back and forth between the two worlds at will now.

    19) Kang Chul summons himself into Assemblyman Han's office via Hypothesis #1 to ask about New-Face's whereabouts. Because the warehouse location is created by Assemblyman Han, and not a setting determined by Su Bong, Kang Chul has to go inside the webtoon world to ask Assemblyman Han its location. I actually think that they skipped a scene here where Kang Chul drove to Assemblyman Han's location in real world before summoning himself inside the webtoon. Which explains how Kang Chul suddenly showed up in Assemblyman Han's office. Probably production team think it's a minor detail and doesn't need explanation in the grand scheme of things.

I've seen a lot of people question as to why Kang Chul didn't just summon Yeon Joo out of the webtoon world to save her from New-Face. I believe the reason is because he can't. Yeon Joo is not a "main character" (remember the definition up top?), so he can't use Hypothesis #3 to summon out Yeon Joo. Yeon Joo is a real world person and can only be "ejected" out of the webtoon world via Hypothesis #2, when something climatic happens/chapter ends.

What about summoning out New-Face then? Kang Chul can do that right? To keep him away from Yeon Joo? There's no point in that because Kang Chul doesn't know where the warehouse is in the real world. Kang Chul still won't be able to save Yeon Joo because even if he did summon out New-Face, New-Face will appear in the real-world warehouse, which is a location Kang Chul doesn't know of, and New-Face can just enter the webtoon world at will again since he knows the rules. Yeon Joo might be tied up and can't move for all he knows. So the best way is for Kang Chul to go inside webtoon world, get New-Face's location from Assemblyman Han, and go there to save Yeon Joo. Besides I think Kang Chul is in a panic at this point so he goes for the first logical course of action.

    20) On the way to save Yeon Joo from New-Face, Kang Chul is ejected out from the webtoon because Yeon Joo was shot and chapter climatically ended (Hypothesis #2). Yeon Joo was also ejected at this time to the corresponding warehouse location in the real world. So Kang Chul and Yeon Joo were ejected, but New-Face remained in the webtoon. That's because New-Face is pure webtoon character, he won't be treated as anomally by the webtoon world. Yeon Joo is a (main) real world person so is ejected, and Kang Chul too because he is (sub) real world person.

    21) Kang Chul goes back in to shoot down New-Face out of rage via Hypothesis #1 and then teleports out to the real world via Hypothesis #3 to find Yeon Joo. Since he teleported out from the webtoon warehouse location, he appears in the corresponding real world warehouse location where Yeon Joo is.

Something important I forgot to mention is that Kang Chul has mentioned in Episode 12 that things that the two worlds share are the locations. These locations I view as connected "portals" between the two worlds. For example, when Kang Chul sees So Hee at the hotel entrance in the real world. Since the webtoon hotel is based off a real world hotel (as was said by Su Bong), and it just so happens So Hee was standing at the hotel entrance when he drove up to it, so Kang Chul could see her and she could see him (the portal opened for a bit when Kang Chul thought of her for a brief moment). Another example, when New-Face was unconsciously summoned out to the real world by Kang Chul, he appeared outside of the real world police station. The webtoon police station and real world police station are "connected". Another example, Kang Chul had to teleport out of webtoon warehouse in order to arrive at real world warehouse because he doesn't know where the warehouse location is in the real world. He wouldn't be able to find Yeon Joo in the real world if he hadn't been in the corresponding webtoon warehouse. The warehouses are "connected". Last example, when Kang Chul went to capture New-Face at his hideout the first time, he deliberately went to the location in the real world before summoning himself inside the webtoon world. Again, because the locations are shared between the two worlds.

Another random thought: Yeon Joo has always returned to her previous location in the real world when she is ejected out from webtoon world. Holds true except for the time when she was shot by New-Face in Episode 13. My guess is that because Yeon Joo wasn't "summoned" but dragged into the webtoon world by New-Face, it was an exception and she wasn't returned to her original location but forcefully ejected on-the-spot to the corresponding warehouse location in the real world.

For those that read everything, thanks for getting to the end of this long post XD

  9. There’s something that’s been puzzling me after watching the latest episode. At the end of episode 13, how did YJ end up in the real-world warehouse? Doesn’t she usually get sent back to where she last left the real world? YJ and New-Face only came to the warehouse after they entered the webtoon world and got that congressman to get him a hideout…
hmm am I missing something here? or is it a bug? because the previous times, she was always sent back to where she originally was…(I checked all the previous episodes for this just to make sure)
so shouldn’t YJ’s bloodied body be in her dad’s studio? since that's where I assume YJ and New-Face disappeared from

or is it that maybe because she isn't "summoned" but "kidnapped/taken" by force to the webtoon world, so it's an exception?

  11. Translations of sohu interview, three of the questions ^^

    First Question

Q: What kind of meaning does this drama hold for you in terms of your acting career?

CW: Actually, I felt very blessed while filming this drama, I had a very happy time filming. I had a great time working with the staff and my colleague actors. Actually, I received a lot of love through this drama, so Healer is a project that is like a blessing, holds fond memories and meaningful for me in various ways.

    Second question

MC: We know that when this drama was on air, you and MY were referred to as the Healing Couple, and in the drama, there were many eye candy scenes like loving hugs and sweet kisses. So I want to ask, how did you feel?

CW: Ah, there really were a lot of skinship scenes, there were lots of kiss scenes or romantic scenes. Actually, when we're filming, we'd be very careful. There were scenes where we had to be considerate of each other (literal trans: take good care of each other). Later on, we'd also discuss how to film so that the scene would appear more beautiful on screen. Yeah, we discussed...a lot...these kind of scenes... we filmed them very happily.

MC: Oh, so you were a bit tired of them?      (the intimate scenes)

*CW laughed a bit here while listening to trans, as that gif set from @fyeahjcw*

MC: Because there were so many.

CW: Oh, hahaha, no, I wasn't tired of them, hahaha

MC: Ah I thought he was tired of them that's why he chose a different type of kiss with Kang Ha Neul.

CW: Ah, no matter how you look at it, that kind of kiss belongs only on the stage. Because it's a kiss between two guys, from the perspective of the audience, I guess it is a very shocking scene. But because it was asked of in the script, we'll do our best to do it well.

    Third Question

Q: It appears a lot of the stunts in the drama were completed by JCW yourself, did you train for it? Also, you just received the Best Couple Award with PMY, will you extend the Healing Couple relationship outside of the drama?

CW: (first question swiftly answered, so I'm going to skip it....) Yeah, and then with PMY.... noona, Best Couple award, we received the Best Couple award. Actually, it is an award that I am very thankful for, we beautifully won this award so I'm very thankful. Actually, we were very close at the filming site, we'd also joke around each other a lot, yeah. And we'll also chat a lot when we go over the scripts, yeah, we filmed together in a very nice atmosphere.

    He evaded the question lol

Q: While acting as Chae Young Shin, if there's a line that most resonated with you (you loved), which is it and why?
Q: The character of Young Shin is referred to as "new generation/type woman" and is called "Chae Male Lead", were you aware of that? I'm curious about your thoughts regarding this.
Q: In episode 13, there's a scene where Young Shin asked Chi Soo (her foster dad) why he brought her home, and Chi Soo replied that he didn't bring her home and that he just waited.  He waited and she came to him by herself. I'm curious, with what kind of mindset/feeling did you film this scene? Personally, this scene left a deep impression on me and was a heartbreaking scene. How did you feel, how did you act this scene out, I would like to ask about your thoughts.Q: Seeing how you have lots of lines and your character is a reporter, there should be lots of unfamiliar vocabulary. As you memorize/learn your lines, I'm curious if there are any difficult points. And if you have your own special know-how in memorizing lines, what is it?Q: I'm curious about the most difficult scene you had to film.
Q: You were able to grasp the important parts in expressing Young Shin's emotions, but was there any scene where you would have liked to expressed the emotions better? If there is such a scene, I'm curious which one. Q: If you're given the chance, is there any scene that you would definitely like to re-film?Q: Your most favorite line or scene in Healer?
Q: Among the messages Healer brings, I'm curious which part you resonate/sympathize with the most.Q: To actor PMY, what kind of meaning does "Healer" leave for you?
Q: To all the people who loved Healer, what kind of meaning do you wish for the drama to leave for them?
Q: To all the many viewers who loved Healer during this time, one last message please.

  14. "그래그래보쟝 내가일본으루 가야되나"

I think this one means "That's right that's right, let's meet. Should I go to Japan"
보쟝 a cute way to say 보자 I think

    please correct if wrong :)
as for what youn1029 said"I made sushi at night!"
misc info: she actually said "norimaki", which are rolls wrapped with seaweed. So can refer to kimbap or sushi really

  15. No news on DVD commentary shooting? Oh well, at least I have something to anticipate from these two in the future. No rush. ;))

Sorry for cutting your post :P

But according to a fan who went yesterday, she talked with the director a bit before Chang wook and Min Young arrived
the director said there will be places in the drama that will have different structure
especially episode 1 will be cut quite differently, it'll give off this refreshing feel
also the director has prepared/cut many interesting BTS for us

more importantly, news on Healer DC is that we'll be getter teaser for DVD soon 8->

  16. News from Healer DC about the DVD commentary finally! :D

    According to their notice:
Our couple will be meeting up tomorrow for the DVD commentary!  Filming location is kept a secret (to protect them from swarms of fans :P) but it's said to be held at a place that is totally unexpected and different from the norm. Makes me curious :P

Anyway, Healer DC will be sending snacks and gifts tomorrow to the group (lots of the gifts are CP-centered LOL like cute stickers etc..)

And CP commentary is confirmed.  But CP interview denied. In order to make up for no CP interview, the director is extending their originally planned 30-minutes CP commentary to 67 minutes
our CP will comment on famous scenes cut by the director (I believe that's what's said, I'm hoping here that means lots of CP scenes though *crosses finger*)

Yoo Ji Tae won't be able to go sadly because he's busy on that day (he expressed his sadness), so it's only our couple and the two directors.
Yoo Ji Tae's video interview changed to written interview. By the sound of it, we won't see video interview/commentary from Yoo Ji Tae.

there will also be individual interviews for the two directors and our couple

the group commentary will be for episode 12 based on fan's vote result

anyway, I can't wait for tomorrow! maybe there will be pictures! :D so excited I don't think I can sleep tonight haha

  17. The full translation to the Sina video interview (well, other than the beginning and end) :) I added in time stamps that correspond to the video below. I realize while doing the time stamps that the written interview left out some bits and pieces here and there compared to the original video interview. I tried to add them all back into the translation, but I'm not sure if I caught them all.  Anyway, the two shouldn't be too different :)

    Translation under the spoiler

(0:11)Q: You and Ji Chang Wook are referred by the fans as the "Healing Couple" in <Healer>, did you feel the popularity of the drama while filming?
A: Actually I wasn't aware of its popularity during filming, it's only now that it has ended that I'm aware after seeing everyone's reactions. I think everyone calls us the "Healing Couple"? "Two-Capsules Couple"? They all sound really nice, so thank you very much everyone. We ended filming in this kind of happy atmosphere. Because the two protagonists are very cute characters that heal each other, I think the biggest reason we're able to receive so much love from the audience is because of the characters' power.
(0:53)Q: Did you cut your hair short for this drama?A: Yes. I used to have really long hair, down to my waist. In order to match with the character, I thought about what type of hair style would suit the entertainment reporter Young Shin best. Short hair gives off the most lively/energetic feel, and looks natural even without much styling. Add to that its fluffy feel like after a shower. I thought this style would be the most fitting and so the decision was made after talking over it. It's also a good chance for a transformation!
(1:35)Q: Do you personally like short or long hair more?A: I feel that long hair has its own elegance, but short hair is really convenient. It's easy to take care of and light. I think short hair is better for the spine? But I think fan's reaction is 50-50.
(1:58)Q: In <Healer>, Chae Young Shin sometimes sings and dances, getting all high by herself. Are you also usually the type to get high by yourself?A: I'm actually originally the "high" type. If I just have the place to show it, like a wrap-up party, I for sure won't miss it. When I'm by myself, I'll frequently relieve my stress like Young Shin. Sometimes I feel Young Shin is too much like me that I'm surprised myself. I'll think, is the writer watching me? Chae Young Shin is that type of character that shares a lot of similarities with me.
(2:29)Q: There are a lot of sweet scenes in <Healer>, how did you avoid awkwardness first time partnering up with Ji Chang Wook?A: After debut, this is the first time I acted in a drama with so many romance scenes. Luckily, for the first kiss, the beanie was pulled down to here (to the chin before filming). I didn't feel that much of a burden. Originally, the first kiss scene is always the most nervous one, but for that scene, it was a kiss scene where Jung Hoo acted by Ji Chang Wook took the initiative. In comparison, I was more relaxed and just followed his lead. The sweet scenes afterward were filmed after we got close so the times where we're at a loss as to what to do also decreased.
(3:12)Q: Do you personally have a special method to get into a scene?A: I feel that I am able to convey the character's feelings most accurately when I confront a scene after completely immersed into my character. Rather than a special method, I believe the first thing is to immerse yourself into the character. Try your hardest to get as close to the character itself as possible, then the emotions will for sure naturally follow.
(4:03)Q: In real life, can you accept a boyfriend with such a "special" job like in the drama?A: Actually I frequently thought about it when I was watching the edited scenes, how a guy that fights like that is really handsome. But if it's in real life, isn't a job like Healer kind of too dangerous? You won't know when he'll get hurt, my heart will ache for him. If it's that kind of special job, I'll just stop him while he's disguised as Park Bong Soo, and not let him go be Healer.
(4:37)Q: When you're in love, are you more of the type to rely on your boyfriend, or the more independent type?A: This depends on the person, I'll behave differently. If the man is someone who is very understanding and reliable, I'll unconsciously open my heart to him and tell him all of my worries. If he is not (that kind of person), depending on his situation, it may the opposite and I'll turn out to be the listener. I think in that way I'll be more independent? In short, it depends on the other person's situation, I'll naturally change along.
(5:14)Q: In <A New Leaf> and <Healer>, you tried out characters with different jobs, what kind of character do you wish to challenge next?A: It'll be nice if I don't have a job next time. Without a job and just living together with parents in a wealthy family. Moreover, a bum without a job who wanders around also sounds nice. As for personality, should be the sharp type. In other words, a character with a bad personality. I'd like to give that kind of character a try. I've also displayed a little of my crazy side, so even if it's past that line, I think it'll be interesting too. I really want to try out characters that are completely crazy. I feel my ambition for acting is getting bigger and bigger.
(5:58)Q: Have you ever thought of acting as a villain?A: If it's a true villain role, I think it'll be really interesting! Compared to the character types I had before, there are still so many different types I haven't tried yet. This has also become the motivation for me to continue acting without rest. I'll be afraid if there are increasingly less type of characters I want to try out. Of course, even if it's not a complete villain but rather one that sort of strays from the usual path of a kindhearted character, I feel that kind of role will also be able to quench my thirst a little. In that sense, through Young Shin this time, I felt a strange delight and the happiness acting brings, as well as a sense of satisfaction. If there's a nice villain role, I'd like to handsomely try it once.
(7:00)Q: After seeing so many villain roles, is there any character in particular that you feel you can do a better job at?A: No. I really like the movie <Black Swan>. The female lead has a dual personality, like the multiple personality characters popular in Korea nowadays. I really like Natalie Portman, her performance always has this two-sided depth which makes it really charming. I feel that character is the most charming among recent works.
(7:36)Q: Any special method you use to take care of your skin?A: Sleep is the most important for the skin, but when you have a job like ours, that's actually something you have to give up. In that case, try to eat food good for the body as much as possible. Also, I feel that my skin gets increasingly dry by the year.  For that, you must be diligent in using facial masks and basic cosmetics. Whenever I have the time, I'll remove my foundation and try to at least put on a facial mask to let my skin rest. Even though these all look like small things, they help greatly. The more effort you put in, the better your skin. I believe you have to be diligent first of all.
(8:23)Q: I hear you went on a diet for the drama, how do you usually take care of your body?A: This is my first time dieting. Dancing, walking up and down the stairs, running on treadmill, I lost weight exercising like that. Actually it's not enough to just exercise, you need to regulate your diet too. As those people who exercise know, if you control your diet, you will lose weight but you'll also lose the fun in eating. So I think the ideal weight loss plan is to happily eat as much as possible, but also increase your exercise amount.  If you want to eat meat, then eat meat. And then when you're adequately full, increase your exercise amount. Isn't this a healthy way to diet? I recommend this method! It's not good to force anything, and your body won't accept it as well.
(9:21)Q: Fans all wish for Park Min Young to come to China. Are there any plans to expand into China in 2015?A: Even though I'm unsure of the date, but I do have plans. I think I'll be able to meet everyone on screen sooner than I expected. I wanted to give everyone a surprise, but it seems the plan is sooner than I think. Fans in China, we may be able to meet this year through a project!

  20. @EVERYONE you guys are welcome for the article (and thanks for all the awesomes!) :) I'm happy to hear that the article made you smile/made your day/hyperventilate (and prolonged your stay at delulu hotel  lol =))  =)) )it'll probably be the last piece of "interesting" news for a while though since most interviews they did are already out :P
@blossomnagr go ahead, I don't mind at all :) (the more people sucked into the magic of JCW and PMY the better lol j/k)
@MyXavienne I'm the invisible Someday news reporter you don't see in the drama.  My job is to pull shippers back into delulu land so that they'll never ever leave these two precious people >:) :)>-

  21. Brace yourselves, shippers :P I bring more fuel to hopefully drag this ship out of the harbor =))=)) (I know one shipper that already went into hyperventilation mode ;) )
Another PMY article was released today~~ from TheStar Chosun interview~
Actress Park Min Young praised Ji Chang Wook's sense of humor.
In a recent interview with The Star, Park Min Young said, "I'm not great at other things, but I have a good sense of humor that can match male actors. I was able to film happily with my male co-stars in the past."
She said, "In contrast, Ji Chang Wook is quite boring. Before the filming of "Healer", one of my worries was: I'm someone who loves to have fun when filming, what do I do if my partner is boring?", stating her worry back then.
In order to get into the character of hoobae-sunbae entertainment news reporters in the drama, Park Min Young lets go of the awkwardness of their initial meeting, and approached Ji Chang Wook first in order to get close to him. She said, "This is what I said to Ji Chang Wook: All entertainment news reporter sunbaes call their hoobaes "this kid/boy", so it's okay if I treat you casually too, no need to be nervous, we'll just do it this way."
She continued, "I'm not the type of person to quickly reply back on KakaoTalk even with my mom. But when I see a message from JCW come, I'll quickly reply back with "Yes, I ate already," and in doing so we got close fast. I had worried what to do if the KakaoTalk chat turn out to be boring too, but good thing they're interesting. Later on, through his character JCW's gag level rose up to 1-2, it became legendary status." She gave a big thumbs up after saying that.
    Translated from chinese translation.
    :x :x :)>-
Talk everyday please, you two. Thank you <3  kekeke  =))
