Anyways, I've been listening to this OST lately and I think it really suits this drama. The beginning instrumental sounds very sci-fi and dream-like. The lyrics talk about how the girl meets the guy and how he metaphorically saves her life, helping her to discover love and the meaning of life. It's like how Suzy's character in here will cross paths with Lee Jong Suk, and he'll become her savior. By preventing the tragedies in her dreams from coming true, he's also helping her overcome the fear and anxiety that comes along with having those visions.

No surprise. Lee Jong Suk is currently the top Korean actor in China and has been dominating over there (in terms of Korean actors) for the past couple of years. Suzy's drama "Uncontrollably Fond" was also the most viewed Korean drama of all time on China's biggest video streaming website, accumulating over four billion views and counting. Because of her success in China, she recently became the first Korean female celebrity to get a wax figure of herself displayed at the Madame Tussauds museum in China. Now that Lee Jong Suk and Suzy will be acting together, it's expected that the anticipation for them is very high. China's prince and princess of Korean entertainment. I have no doubt they're going to be a huge sensation over there once the drama airs. I think part of SukZy's popularity also lies in the fact that their looks are very aesthetically pleasing to the Chinese audience. This is not a drama abt catching and solving murder cases, but preventing murder to happen. Story of unknown heroes.

Both male n female leads are 29yrs old. Male is a rookie prosecutor, female is an unemployed ex-journalist.

LJS live with his younger brother, while Suzy with mother. Suzy has a boyfriend. LJS become neighbors with Suzy after moving opposite her.

LJS appears to be cold and doesn't enjoy joking but at some aspect very foolish. Suzy has princess syndrome; narcissistic & dumb.
She lacks energy (look tired) but still cheerful, while LJS look at her with disdain.

LJS hobby is taking selca. Housework by his younger brother. Refused to take selca at home w/o washing face (also coz he didn't make up)

Suzy used to be LJS fan & idolized him. She kept saying if there's Nobel prize for prosecutor, he should be awarded.

Filming is said to start next month. So the previous two summaries from asianwiki were likely just rumors. Seems like this will be a rom-com with fantasy and a bit of crime, like Girl Who Sees Smells. I wanted Suzy's character to be cool and smart like Yeo Wool from Gu Family Book. Her character here sounds like Ma Ri from Big. It could still turn out really cute with her quirky personality and Lee Jong Suk's serious character.

Hello, I'm a new member here. After reading the new plot summaries (which remind me of the drama "Secret Love"), I was inspired to create my own artwork. It's not as good as the ones that have been posted, but I thought I'd share it anyway.

While You Were Sleeping is a 2017 crime/fantasy melodrama that follows the love-hate relationship between a woman (Suzy), who can see the future through her dreams, and a prosecutor (Lee Jong Suk), who is involved in her lover's case. Years later, the prosecutor becomes an infamous thief, while the woman becomes a high-ranking police officer who is determined to prove her lover's innocence.
