Because in South Korea, a cable program is considered successful if it rates 1%. But getting an 8% rating for a cable company is so great, it makes the free to air networks go bananas!

@YourHighness LOVE that plot too - how Eun Tak was able to live because Goblin saved her Mom. I guess that's their fate, how they got connected. He gave her life, she can now give him his own (mortality).

@joyezz I think it's too much makeup overall -- he had harsh lines (or was he purposely made thin?) on his cheekbones. I suppose it's needed for his character sa the Reaper but he looked too pale for me, or is he really that white naturally?
@samzz is that a good rating for TVN? Yey! So happy for them, then!

THIS DRAMA IS DAEBAK!!
The storyline is captivating, the KGE plot twist --- I didn't see that coming! Love that!
Our characters were so well-played. KGE and GY chemistry onscreen was palpable.
I LOVE THIS EPISODE!
My only comment was Wookie looks too gaunt for me, I hope they fix it somehow. I know he is supposed to be the Angel of Death but his make-up needs to be lessened a bit.
DAEBAK! I can't stop sighing and screaming and remembering ------ cant wait for the subs! Watching it raw was awesome already, what more with subs! (Even if you watch raw, you still understand what's happening in a way and I think that's credit to the PD's pacing of the storyline and the amazing skill of the cast as well!)
GOBLIN HWAITING! I hope it was well received in S Korea - let's deliver the ratings!!!!-

@princess nour90 YES, I know girlfriday loves GY so I'm positive they will be recapping it. They didn't mince words with BIG though, so I'm a bit anxious how Goblin will fare up. I'm really just thankful that GY was able to come back after four years - and it looks like it's going to be worth the wait!

Bit the bullet and signed up for a username. I've been stalking and reading this thread ever since news broke out that Gong Yoo oppa will lead another series after four years and I can't help but post here my excitement that we are going to see him on TV again - TONIGHT!!!
I need a GIF of a headless chicken running around to describe what I am feeling - I can't wait!

Hi,
I want to know if anyone can help me find the DVD with director's cut of Goblin. I'm ordering overseas but a friend is going to Korea and Japan soon and she offered to buy it for me there (if I can direct her to a store that sells it). Thanks so much for the help!
