That's a pity about the rating because i love ep12. I laughed and cried with them.
Many development of characters and plot. At this point i think YE will leave SONO. She owed them nothing when in fact grant them with huge success. Its time for new challenge. Someone of her calibres deserve more. CS and CH should works together now and take responsibility of the company.
JG ya whatever happened just don't give up. I just hope the 1month thing is just a trick to buy time to persuade his mother n give space for YE families issue since Paris is not an option. As expected YE rejected it. Running away was never a solution in the first place.
There're complaints about not much Gukha moment yesterday, but this time i disagree. Works and family comes first. Its more realistic to gv each other spaces with all the problems they've facing in yesterday ep. That maturity and professionalism in their r/s is what i admired the most.
I love MiSook. Great strong character, one of YE's strength. Got a feeling she not gonna make it in the end. Preparing my heart
Looking forward for lovey dovey moment in today ep.

@Pitchoum eh ya i read it wrongly then about the finale lol.
Pd team really owe us Gukha happy moment. How come the lead didn't have any happy moment together up till ep11 now. Even Korean viewers starting to complaint too.
We know SW n YE not happy once they return to SK but the flashback of them in Paris is necessary to show even their love is just 2 months (i find its ridiculous too) but its still full of happiness to the point YE willing to gv up her career in Paris for him n ya she regretted it now. Will YE gv up everything again n follow JG to Paris. Btw i really hated SW to think back all this mess happened because of him ughhh

Yup agreed SW didn't deserve her. It's just that those flashback scene its the only moment i can see YE looked really happy n full of love. We will get that with JG in dating at the park scene perhaps but i don't think they will be that 'happy' knowing they will be separated later. YE live miserably for 10y for that man and now this happen.

@Pitchoum ikr if it a sad ending, i really feel its wasting time lmao. Yes it's so depressing. I wonder will we get at least 1 ep full of happy moment just like flashback scene of SW n YE. Short but impactful. U can see how YE really in love and happy. The lead totally deserve that.

I still have many complain about the storyline and writer but I'll probably just let it past or else everyone will feel annoyed with me lol since the story itself is depressing.
So JG mom n YJ hated YE because SW unfaithful act pfttt. The audacity of YJ blamed YE of everything really angst me. The mom need to know YJ caused the accident. Yes accident happened no one to blame but wondering if she know that YJ caused it will she accept YE?
How i wish JG will stand up more. He is softer and gentle more than i expected. 'Same decision will end with different result', his word to persuade YE to open her heart. If JG give up the way SW did, I'll totally disappointed. I knew his mom has crossed the line by threatened YE but that woman deserves to be scolded more. Who the hell in right mind will take her own life just because disapproved her son's lover. If she's my mom i will totally scolded her till no end.
Selling company share is not that bad so i don't think YE will be affected that much unless the new international investor really want to kick her out. Doubt that will happen since she is their best asset and designer. However once there is new investor the probability for them to lose their identity and style is very high. So i want YE to quit The One n SONO. Start fresh and stronger.
I really hope MiSook can make it. She seems giving up life. How is she going to react if she knows the husband once cheated on her.
Many predicted it will be a sad ending. If it is a sad one i really hope it worth it. La La Land consider as sad ending but its realistic. Loving someone doesn't mean u have to hold them. Living in frustration and disapproval of many really not easy. The guilt will slowly eat u up. So ya i can accept sad ending but i don't want JG to gv up on YE lol. So my predictions is it will be a happy ending or we can say open ending like reconciliation something like that.
I read in Naver some complaints how the storyline is cliche and didn't deserve big name like SHK and JKY in it. But i kinda understand why Kyo accept this drama. It's maybe 'cliche' but this parents obsessive and taboo of single mom and wife is still thick in Korean culture. The dialog from both mom said it all. So Kyo just want to share it to the world. Understandable.
I swear as i hv many complain with the drama but i still cry in certain scene. So ya its considered success once it touch ur heart.

I agree too about SYJ, she looked powerful in today eps (in the begining) but its just ended like that. . .? Its not like I want villain to be too strong or anything but she didnt even do much damage, and it was resolved so fast, so I dont think she create any tension or HYE needs to worry about her at all, she is just too weak.
And the mom is also not YJG real mom, he can just ignoring her, I dont think he is also close to her mom because he spends most of his time in paris, he is not interested to the her company either, and he once said that he will pick over his woman over his parent approval. . So even his mom wont approve HYE, it also doesnt really matter? Both SYJ and YJG mom wont become a threat to HYE at all. Like YJG said, he could just move to paris and happily ever after, this drama actually doesnt need 16 eps, it could ended next week because there is nothing more to offer.
So yeah the plot is really weak, I don't think director and actors can do too much to save it. The writer only have 1 project (misty) before this drama, and misty wasn't popular and have so much complain about the ending
I understand the frustration. But i think there will be more trouble from YJ in incoming ep. From the preview she doesn't seem to stay quiet and just let it go. She will still tormenting YE. Just curious how she will do it since both YE and JG is a strong character. They will not just crush with the pressure.
Villian can be interpreted in many ways. For me there is no obvious villians or murderer (i really hope no but YJ seems psycho for me lol) but surely YJ and the mom is definitely the antagonist. We wait and see how they will interfere again. I get the feeling this time it will involved YE parents. And this SW jerk will it really just end here. We still don't get the answer for his crying and frustration before the accident.
Im kinda agree with the weak plot but i get a feeling the storyline will get heated soon. From SHK and JKY iv they hv mention there will be sad and roller coaster emotions between the two. So ya the antagonist won't make it easy for them. Come on gv us more drama writer nim.
There are some drama start with a strong plot but end up with disappointment because dragging storyline. I just hope NWBU will be the opposite. Start with slow pace and finish with boom is not that bad isn't it. Btw yesterday ep8 is so far the best for me at least. Mix of all elements and emotions. I cried for MS, angry, and happy all in one ep. This is what i hv been waiting for. Those thrill. I really hope the storyline will kick on now.

I thought im the only one who hv complaint about the storyline. If not because of Kyo I'll probably drop this drama long ago. I hv never watch any of this PD and writers project before so didn't really know their works but NWBU hv so many loopholes and the drama didn't hv much 'drama' to kind of glue u to keep on watching. Too slow pace and something is just feel missing, and sometimes too flat. As much as i hated YJ I hope her character can bring more extra spicy plot to the storyline. Come on show us some climax. I blamed myself sometimes because im expecting way too much maybe.
CS characters was off for me from ep2 onwards. CS and DH both is a CEO. The writers can make their story more thrill and mature but those repetitive drunk drink scene was so frustrating to me.
MS story for me is more interesting. It kind of make u waiting for more atleast for me. She have many conflicts internally that make u want it to be exposed and triumph fast. I just hope writers give a justice to this character.
YE at first I thought she kind of arrogance successful lady since they described her as someone who is fine with 1 night stand and quite alluring but turn out she actually very fragile and too kind hearted just like CH said she is too innocent. Not complaining anyway but i want her to really be jerk when she needs to. Her coworkers is really annoying i really can't stand them. JG is very consistent from start until now and i hope his career path will too. I dont want him to waste his talent just because he choose to stay with YE. They both need to fly not holding each others down. Btw apart from all of this i enjoyed Ep7 and hope the plot will improved in this remaining ep onwards.

There must be something happened in Korea atm that I'm not aware of that makes Korean fandom demanded an action from UAA. I'm absolutely with UAA when those youtuber and knetizen spread groundless rumours. Those darkest period for Kyo and i extremely admired her for not making any noises even she was pressured by media not just in Korea but China too and i can say UAA and Kyo handled it with class. Or else the damages will be more for everyone involved. How she absorbed and settled it all quietly behind the secene is so admirable. Deep down most ppl in industry are with her and support her all the way. We can see it with all the supports she received. I'm proud and happy that our Kyo was loved and supported by her peers thats all matter to me. For me, i want to keep looking forward. I understand that all fandom just want to keep protecting Kyo but i also understand Kyo stands. I just hope whoever in the internet stop milking those fanwar from now on. Stop mentioning other actors/actresses. We're better than that.
I suddenly remembered one of the quote from World Within dialogues 'You're hated as much as you're loved'. In this crazy world ppl just love to throw rocks to the shining bright things. I know Kyo is in the right path and we shall all follow her and do the right things. Btw it's always nice to hv all this positive energy from u all. Let's manifest for Kyo and her project more.

I hope everyone doing ok because i am completely exhausted. Such a bad week with all the chaos happened in the fandom, hates and criticism we are facing all over internet. I'm feeling very tired, i can't even imagined how Kyo have to go thru this for years. Everytime she have a new project the same things happen. She becoming a regular target for media and netizen to throw all their hatred and now not only knetizen even international fans join forces. Why need to compare and bring down others just to make your bias looks better. Just why. Worst things i just read Kyo korea fandom are now demanding/sueing UAA? Is that really happened? I'm not sure if that will bring any good for Kyo and her images and drama promotions now. I understand the frustration but deep down I just don't think it's a good idea. Or if there something malicious rumours spread in Korea that we didn't know? Sighh excuse me for my ranting here. I really need to scream it out

@Pitchoum sageuk drama always loved by general knetizen compared to international fans. It didn't surprised me The Red Sleeve tv rating is doing well as the drama itself is amazing, credit where its due. N u might be right too about the promo. Im not sure how sbs promote their previous drama. Yes maybe they should do more.
About SW, seems I'm wrong about him, maybe he really love YE but ready to let her go because he knows what doubletrouble waiting for her if they continued their r/s. From what YE keep saying to JG how he'll annoyed and regret his decision give me impressions that SW and YE having hard time and maybe fought frequently too. The way YE refused to contact and make any effort to find SW after he goes missing suggest they're really not in good term before the accident.
Wahh i thought YJ is a decent lady but turn out she's real psycho. Who will disguised themself as someone who is already dead, only a psychopath will do that. Hope JG can protect their new and fragiled love which something maybe SW unable to fulfill. YJ hv very big influences in fashion industry too and she surely will cause trouble to YE. Its sad since from their first meet, YE looked at YJ with full of admiration.
I'm sad about MS. I hope they bursting his husband's scandal soon and give her full support for her treatment. The lady suffering alone in silent.

Its not just because of promo i think, the genre of the drama itself plays part too. Melo is not really everyone cup of tea so its understandable.
Yesterday episode is a mix feeling for me. Im starting to feel CS is going to betray YE big time because of jealousy of works and JG. Maknae SY is really weak and troublesome character. She keep dragged the whole team haishh. I just hope she's not the one who leaked YE design again.
N I like CH. He is totally opposite the spoiled CS. He is smart, witty and going to be YE soldier by her side now.
SW characters is really fishy. He doesn't seems to be an honest and trustworthy man. Either he betrayed Yoo Jung or he cheated on YE still unclear. For sure YJ not going to let it past easily. YE is having enemy all around her now.
Omg MS hv cancer. Her husband deserve a smacked on the head ughhh the man is useless. I hope YE will know about this in today episode.
Overall yesterday ep quite slow tbh but its good for characters development. But kinda agree with some comments here on CS and DH r/s. I expects more from them but they keep giving this CS drinking wine scene n gets drunk. The repetitive is getting boring now.

Friday seems very far aigooo. Just want to share my view regarding the kiss scene. For me the one night stand kiss scene is hot but got the feeling the editing team have to tone it down. Kdrama always have this weird approaches in editing. They purposedly use long shot, mirror shot, weird angle shot and choose it for the final cut. It's kinda to tone it down a bit so that the other kiss scene will stand out more and give more impact, just like YE said no impact for their one night stand lol. Prepare youself for ep3. From the preview we're going to have another one. Will discuss it again lol

Lol SHK just want to look pretty and not willing to look vulnerable? Did you watched World Within and her movie My Brilliant Life? Her role is far from being pretty and glamorous in those projects. Im not the type who can't take criticism for SHK but sometimes the comments just pure ignorance. Apparently SHK often experimenting with her looks and haircuts in all her drama and movies. There are actress out there who has the same hairstyles and vibes in most projects to look pretty too but its was never mentioned. Yes she's not perfect but it's also not a crime to play role or genre you are good with. Not everyone can do action as same as not everyone including you and me can do sports. If you consider a good actresses/actor just after they do action project then it's just lame sorry.

Based on those characters chart JG is 32yo while YE is 38. 6 years of gap is nothing come on. Nothing weird too for successful young man falling for woman who is beautiful charming and alluring in his eyes come on again.
Im excited for SHK comeback after long hiatus. All this attacked toward her i read from other website too is really bothering me. If you don't have nice words to say better quiet it's as easy as that. Just let us here enjoy the drama and the storyline as it goes. Thank you
Regarding the characters here, i already love JG and YE. CS really remind me of dumb spoiled rich girl brat ughhh. I just hope DH will change her and YE faster out from that company. They didn't deserve her dedication and hardworks.
I can feels the depth of YE and JG feelings will come in this coming episode. Expecting JG will go bravely and straightforwardly with his feeling. I think YE and his late brother challenges is more than just obstacles from his mother. It's probably more than that cause YE seems totally mentally destroyed. She's in trauma.
Sigh Friday seems very far. Ima keep rewatching 1st and 2nd episode and cry my eyes out for All Too Well Taylor's Ver. Im in deep misery lol. Btw lets keep this thread healthy and keep supporting our queen and the team. I loves and enjoyed this production so far more than i enjoyed Encounter last time.

Haha ya everyone seems very quiet. Im not lurking that much as im not very ok with the storyline so trying not to kill the moment by ranting too much here. But that's life, we will having up and down. No one will get high score in everything so its fine for me.
Finally the finale, most of my prediction came true as it is an open ending/happy ending. So the writers choose not to solve all problems they're facing especially the one come from JG family
As soon as i heard Kyo said the drama is realistic, i knew we're going to get this 'kind' of ending lol. Not the best one but ya 'realistic'. The good things is i want both YE and JG excelled in their field independently rather than one holding the others down. JG deserved to get recognition for his talents too which is hard to get in Korea so ya it's Paris n being Mr J is the way. YE out from SONO and challenged herself is a yass for me.
What the things really tocuhed me in general in this drama is YE friendship with MiSook and ChiSook. Cry my eyes out for MiSook. She deserved her Best Supporting Actress Award..
I also agree on the monotone r/s n story in like 5 last episodes. Like urghh u can expend it in different way and more dynamics but pdnim choose to do the same way n flat. Like nothing happened, just time past
. So hard to get thru every ep tbh. So generally their love story didn't really touched me im sorry im expecting more.
As we all survived this journey, despite all those mix feeling, reviews and criticism, i will keep supporting Kyo's work in future. N looking forward for Kiyong next project after military too.
