Ok I guess I can't control the age requirement for the chat room so here's what i got

To set chat controls:

1. Go to AOL Keyword: Parental Controls or go to http://parentalcontrols.aol.com.

2. In the Screen Name section, click the screen name you want to edit.

3. Next to Edit:, click the Chat link, or scroll down to Chat Room Controls section.

4. You can customize your chat controls by clicking the box next to the feature to either place a check mark in it to enable the feature or clear it to disable the feature. There are four options you can select from:

People Connection, AOL Auditorium & AIM Rooms: If this option is enabled, the screen name will not be able to access any AOL® created public chat rooms available in the People Connection area.

Member-Created Rooms: If this option is enabled, the screen name will not be able to access any chat rooms created by an AOL® or AIM® member.

Special Interest, RED & KOL Rooms: If this option is enabled, the screen name will not be able to access any of the monitored chat rooms created for the Teen Channel, Kids Only Channel, or AOL® Live.

Hyperlinks: If this option is enabled, the screen name will not be able to click on hyperlinks or submit hyperlinks in a chat room.

5. Click the Save button either at the top or bottom of the AOL Parental Controls page.

6. Click the OK button to confirm your changes and return to the AOL Parental Controls page.

7. Click the X button.

or just create a new free aim sn instead of an aol sn and say you're over 21 i guess...yeah do that instead, it'll probably be a lot easier and less to deal with right?
