hi all

I've been lurking in this thread and i'm so excited for you guys who are going to watch the LV shoot. From what i gathered from the chinese fans, i think the hyd cast are not flying straight to LV from hong kong, they went back to japan first. So hope this helps.

anyways, i think alot of hyd fans would appreciate if you all could share your experiences of the shoot with us who cant be there, of course it would better to have photos or videos if it is even possible. I'm so jealous of you guys cos you are going to be able to see the cast face to face.

in other news, i am currently waiting for my plane to board and i am bored. (pun not intended, thank god. if i tried to make that into a joke, i'd be the female american Taguchi!) now sign of a japanese film crew yet, but i don't really think they'll take a Southwest flight transfered from Hong Kong this early in the morning, do you?

anyway, because i know you care so much, i'll tell you guys when i get there. and i'll post the schedule if i get it and that i know you really do care about, ne?

UPDATE: i am now in Vegas at the Orleans and here's what i have to report:

The hotel is quite a ways off the strip, so if you guys can get a cab from wherever you are staying, that'd probably be best. i know i suggested that walking from New York New York would be OK, but i was totally wrong, since i've never been here before. The hotel is a pretty good choice for the filming if they want to show the Vegassy-ness of Vegas, if you get what i mean. i still have no idea whether or not they'll be staying here, and i also haven't recieved the filming schedule yet since we arrived so early. What else? i have taken my camera out of my bag so i can take pictures whenever i need to and i'll keep updating you guys as things happen/i get the schedule.

On a more personal note: i totally cannot spend 3+ hours with my dad. seriously, i wanna rip my hair out! (is this being a teenager?) i'm also on a different floor than i thought, and i may have a concusion! (my dad accidentally slammed the trunk door into my head earlier). even though getting here was a bit painful, hopefully the next few days will make up for it!!

Ok, so i napped and now, concussionless, i have schedule in hand! it's only for the scenes in the hotel, so that's a bit disappointing, but it says a bit more than Luchs has told us! i'm gonna retype it exactly, so here you go:

There were also codes next to the valet entrance parts (i assume for the EXACT location of the filming, but they're meaningless to us. Also, there wasn't anything on that first section of the 19th on my copy, so i guess they'll be setting up then? It says something about them needing time to set up on wednesday with lighting and such, but we don't really care about that becuase we aren't stalking the lighting crew. maybe we could arrive then a bit early and hopefully catch the stars before shooting starts?

Anywho, i'll keep posting updates and i'll keep checking for updates on the meetup. speaking of which, do you guys still want a map of the hotel?

UPDATE: OK, map of hotel deffinetly needed! holy crap, the casino is a total maze! i should've brought my map down with me exploring, but i didn't want to look like an idiot, so i didn't. anyway, it's good that i didn't becuase if i had, i wouldn't've gotten lost (that's not necessarily true, i'm amazing at getting lost) and i wouldn't have found one of the filming locales! it's totally hidden away from the main slot machines and when i first saw it, it was roped off so i thought "hhhmm, maybe?" because the slot machines had no gimicky crap and just looked like typical slot machines that you think when you think slot machine. then, on my way back from running into a dead-end, i noticed some filming-type equipment. so i snapped a picture for you all! it's not the best quaility, but oh well:

you can't see the rope, but it's there. it's all "off limits" and it's there.

I also got a picture of the wrong restaurant, and i'm going to go back down later to find the right one. do you guys want me to keep posting the pictures?

Ne, you should try Southwest. sometimes, depending on the flight, they have last minute deals that cost about 50 bucks each way (at least from Colorado to vegas) i know it's not that cheep, but it's pretty good for airfare. also, if you use something like expedia or the like to find your flights, go back to the website of te cheepest airline. it'll be cheaper there most likely. if there's anything i can (such as fare hunting or whatever) i'll gladly help! gambatte ne!

Try Virgin America airlines. They might have good last minute fares. But since it's last minute. Might be a bit of a stretch.

rules that are a little bit more detailed...

- No pictures or video recording allowed. Whether they are filming or on break. This has been confirmed by The Orleans hotel staff. How about taking pictures of yourself in front of the locations after the filming is over? That way, you'll still have something to add to your scrapbook without bothering the actors. If you feel like you absolutely must take pictures, at least do it discretely with a camera phone, or from very far away without using flash.

- The four feet rule. (thanks to Arashikitty ♥) If you somehow get the chance to get up close with the actors, try to not invade their personal space by staying four feet away. Do not touch them unless they touch you first. (Matsujun shook hands with some of the Hong Kong fans, despite it all.)

- Silence is golden. I know it will be very exciting, but do not scream or yell out to the actors. No talking amongst yourselves during filming. (Unless you're quite far away, I guess.) None of us will be interested in chatting when there's a movie being made right in front of us, anyway, right?

- Turn off or set phones to vibrate. See above.

- No stalking. Though we've all been joking (er, I have) about flying to Vegas to stalk Matsujun or whoever, let's keep it at just that, a joke. Don't go knocking on doors at the hotel trying to find what room they're staying in, don't try following them when they go out partying after work, and if you somehow find out this sort of sensitive information, please keep it to yourself.

- Stay out of the casino if you are under 21 and without a guardian. On the 20th, there will be filming in the casino area of the hotel during the daytime hours. Let's try to leave a good impression not just with the actors and film crew, but with the hotel staff as well.

- If you make a signboard of any kind, using photographs is generally looked down upon. They should be text only, or using your own artwork. I'm sure most JE fans already know this, but just in case. edit: I'm not entirely sure, but hanging banners and stuff around the hotel might not be allowed. If you're making a banner, make sure it's small enough to hold in your hands. In case we are asked to put away our signs, also make sure they can be folded/rolled up and hidden out of sight somehow.

Ok, so I got the final word from the boyfriend and I still can't go cuz he's still just too worried about it. But I'll still be trying to hold a conference with all of you going. Hopefully we can get a live video feed from one of you with a laptop and webcam. I have mine just so you can see me too.
