On March 5, his agency FNC Entertainment commented, “Lee Dong Gun is confirmed to star in JTBC’s ‘Sketch.'”

“Sketch” is an action drama about the fate and love of people who are fighting to change their destinies. It was previously revealed that Rain will be starring in the drama.

Directed by Im Tae Woo, who previously worked on “Yoo Na’s Street” and “The Duo,” “Sketch” is scheduled to begin airing in May.

On July 30, a source from the broadcasting industry stated that the actor would be appearing in the drama, and his agency FNC Entertainment confirmed, “Lee Dong Gun will be appearing in SBS’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Yeowoo Gaksibyeol.’ He has been confirmed for the role of Seo In Woo.”

“Yeowoo Gaksibyeol” is about the hectic lives of the employees that work at Incheon Airport. Lee Dong Gun’s role Seo In Woo is the airport’s operations manager. The drama is written by Kang Eun Kyung who previously wrote “Baker King, Kim Tak Goo,” “Gu Family Book,” “What Happens to My Family?” and “Romantic Doctor Kim.” It will be directed by producing-director Shin Woo Chul, who previously directed “Secret Garden,” “Gentleman’s Dignity,” and “Gu Family Book.”

Lee Je Hoon was previously confirmed to appear in the drama, while Chae Soo Bin is still in talks for her role. SF9’s Rowoon will also be appearing in the drama.

“Yeowoo Gaksibyeol” is slated to air after “30 but 17.”

On May 22, the two completed the divorce proceedings at the Seoul Family Court, we apologize for causing discomfort for many people. Lee Dong Gun, who broke the news of his divorce with actor Jo Yoon Hee, is discussing his comeback to the big screen.

 

A few hours after the news about his divorce broke out, a media outlet reported that Lee Dong Gun will return to the movie with Come Back Home (literal translation). To which, the actor’s agency, FNC Entertainment, said, “We are currently discussing it, and we don’t know for sure if he will appear.”

 

According to the earlier report, Lee Gond Gun was offered a role in a confrontation with Kim Young Kwang. Come Back Home tells the story of a man who becomes the head of a family at an early age, searching for his kidnapped child. It is a new film by director Kim Tae Yong, best known for Set Me Free and MISBEHAVIOR.

 

If Lee Dong Geun confirmed his appearance, he would be returning to the big screen 13 years after Love Now.

 

Meanwhile, Lee Dong Gun and Jo Yoon Hee played a couple in KBS2’s weekend drama The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop and fell in love in real life. They got married in 2017 and gave birth to a baby girl the same year. But after three years of marriage, the two have filed for divorce.
