my worry is that i'm not ready enough to go audition. like i want this so bad that it clouds my judgement of if i'm ready to go and audition and to atleast give a good audition. I have alot of trouble in singing because i have pitch problems ( which i am still currently workiing on). I think i have the voice to become a singer but a singer needs to have the whole package of being able to do almost anything, hitting the notes, virbrato, licks and trills, etc. so that makes me worry most when i hear there are auditions or contests. Also, sometimes i get stage fright so i lose focus and mess up... so i'm scared of messing up when i'm singing or dancing... yeah lol

Yes, I have performed in parades for 2 years, in choir/show choir competitions for 4 years, in school games and assemblies for a year, and at church for 5 years. I have performed at Disneyland 3 times and DisneyWorld 1 time. I have also starred in 2 school musicals.

Age since most Korean performers are 16-17 years old. Appearance because I might be too tall to be a singer/actress/ etc.

I also worry about what would happen if I do get accepted.... 1. My parents would kill me (last time I mentioned auditioning to my mom she started crying because she was so disappointed in me for even considering it....) 2. I don't want to but I might be tempted to drop school or my major to further pursue a performing arts career that i might fail at.

I dont get it...why is everyone so worried about their ethnicity??

You don't need to quote the long post before asking a question.

People are worried because most of them are foreigners and since the company they want to get into is Korean, judges are obviously looking for people from their nation. You will probably have more advantages than others if you're from Korea or could at least pronounce the language correctly.

Who cares. Talent comes first.
