ソウルオリンピックも日本で見てました（笑）。

－言葉を覚える時期に日本にいらっしゃったわけですね？　

すごくナチュラルな日本語で驚きました。

ありがとうございます。当時は韓国語が全くできなくて…。

“おやじ”と“アニキ”が僕よりも日本語がうまいんですよ。

でも“おふくろ”はそんなに話せなくて、おふくろとの会話は不思議な感じでしたね。

韓国語でも日本語でもないみたいな（笑）。

－どこに住んでいたんですか？　

東京です。慶応大学の近くです。おやじが新聞記者だったので、

慶応大学で勉強しながら仕事をしていましたね。

－芸能界に入ったきっかけは？　

中学のときからバンドをしていたのですが、

ファッション関係の仕事もしてみたいなと思っていたら偶然にスカウトされて、

それでここまで来ちゃったみたいな（笑）。

－音楽で生きていくんだという気持ちもあったんですか？　

ありましたね。大学もいちお音大を出ているので。専攻は歌でした。

－（モデル時代の写真が映し出され）会場からは「あ～」という声。　

何の「あ～」ですか（笑）？

－体系を維持する秘訣はありますか？　

よく食べるんですよ、本当に。もともと太らない体質のようですね。

すみません…ちょっと感じ悪いですか？　（会場爆笑）

－俳優デビューはいつでしたか？　

2002 年の『勝手にしやがれ』で、インディーズのバンドの役でした。

偶然監督さんに会って、「そういう役があるんだけど、

普通に君を見せてくれればいいから、やってみない？　」と言われてやってみたんですけど、

芝居が難しくて自分にはできないと思って辞めてたんですよ。

同時にモデルも辞めて大学での勉強に専念しましたね。

卒業してからまた活動を始めたという感じです。2～3年芸能界から離れていましたね。

－『コーヒープリンス1号店』に出演したきっかけは何ですか？　

オーディションです。

－ここまでヒットすると思っていましたか？　

誰も思っていませんでしたね（笑）！　

今までにない変わったドラマになるだろうなとは言ってたんですけど。

－共演者とのコミュニケーションはどうでしたか？　

本当に皆、仲が良くて撮影がなくても一緒にご飯を食べに行ったり、

皆の撮影を待って飲みに行ったり…今でもよく会っています。

－自身の部屋が、あるコンセプトに基づいていると聞いたのですが？　

いちお…（笑）、“不便な”家を作りたいと思って。

ベッドが真ん中にあったり、光もあんまりないんですよ（笑）。

服も散らかっていて着るときは探したり…。椅子とテーブルはオーダーメイドの鉄製なんです。

もう少し寒くなったら座れないですよね（笑）。

－それから料理が上手なんですよね？　

いや、上手なんじゃなくて好きです。キムチチゲとか普通の家庭料理ですね。

冷蔵庫に余っているものを使って作る感じです。

－スポーツは得意ですか？　

野球選手になりたかったぐらい野球が好きですね。今も友達とチームを作ってやったりしてますね。

－昨日はバッティングセンターに行って熱くなっていたそうですが？　

日本のマシーンがすごく良いんですよ。カーブも出るというので、昨日は散々打ちました。

－幼少の頃から野球以外に夢中になっていたことはありますか？　

中学までは陸上をしていました。短距離です。あとは、本とDVDは好きですね。

－最近は忙しくて趣味に没頭する時間もないのでは？　

今はドラマの撮影で地方に行ったりしてるんですよ。

寝る時間だけもらえればいいな～といった感じですね。

－『風の国』ですよね？　どのような物語なんですか？　

最初は監督から家族の話だと聞いていたんですが、

実際に撮影に入ったら完全にアクション系で（笑）苦労していますよ。

－俳優としての面白さは感じてきましたか？　

そうですね、『コーヒープリンス1号店』が終わってからは、

役者と呼ばれる人になりたいと思って頑張っています。

－映画『アンティーク-西洋骨董洋菓子店』の撮影も終わったそうですね？　

共演者のチュ・ジフンと非常に仲が良いそうですが？　

仲悪いです（笑）。しつこいんですよ、あの人。勝手に家に入ってきたり…。

でも困ったときにアドバイスもしたり、いい関係ではありますね、悔しいけど（笑）。

－日本の俳優で好きな人は誰ですか？　

堤真一さんです。彼の芝居を見るのが好きです。

－日本と韓国のアーティストで好きな人はいますか？　

日本では椎名林檎さんが好きです。

＜東京事変＞もよく聴いているし。韓国ではキム・ドンリュルさんですね。

－日本の女性に作ってもらいたい料理はありますか？　

肉じゃがとか（笑）。肉じゃがはうまいですよね！　あれは韓国にはない味なんで。

－日本の女性、ファンの皆さんの印象はどうですか？　

何を言えばいいんですか（笑）。

日本のファンの皆さんは自分をリスペクトしてくれるというか…

礼儀として守るところは守ってくれますよね。

とにかくあっち（韓国）は…触るんですよ（笑）。

ひっぱったり…殴ったり…（笑）。

日本の女性は全体的に…おとなしいという感じですよね。

韓国人は自分の感情に激しいというか…。
