I don't think you can do that. Just go to your local asian food market, they might have it.

Kgrocer and KOA mart both sell kimchi that they ship... o_0; They say they'll pack it in a temperature controlled (cool?) box or some sort... Never tried ordering food products online though.

If it comes in old, you can always make kimchi fried rice! But I don't think it's a good idea to order online.

you should just buy it at your nearest korean supermarket. you'll save alot since if you want it shipped, you need to pay for the shipping and wait for it to be delivered to you.

We just started an online store to sell our kimchi, and I have to say that people keep telling us it's the best kimchi they've ever had. We do have to be very careful with the way we pack/ship such a delicate product, but seeing as kimchi has to ferment a bit to taste just right- it does fine in the mail! Check us out and let us know if you have any questions :) We don't do giant bottles of it unfortunately... it's just too hard to ship something that heavy/fragile/stinky.

Best,

Buying food online? I advice no. However, you can make Kimchi your self at home if you know how to do it.

I don't get it ... What could be so horrible about ordering kimchi online?

shipping might be a nightmare? o__o; i know whenever i get a jar of kimchi at the store the jar almost always leaks some juice out (which is saying a lot, since my apt is a ~10 min walk away). also kimchi is perishable so it has specific handling requirements.

you might like buying a big jar of kimchi online if you like really really old kimchi. i got a huge jar of fresh kimchi before MLK day and since i'm the only one eating it, it's not even half empty yet but deliciously sour :3

try going to the local grocery store like an asian super market.. it would probably be a lot cheaper.

i went to this one korean restaurant that sold kimchi to there costumer try looking around.. i don't think there is anything wrong with ordering online but why pay more and shipping when you can get one where you live unless they don't sell any around your area.. plus there is many recipes you could find online and you could change it to your liking cause it's not a guarantee you'll like the one you'll order.

it has become one of the more popular items in asian supermarkets nowadays, I seen a couple of band names. from $3 to like $12 depending on the size. Reason why I love living close to asian areas, can buy all the goodies I want in mins.
