im watching this series right now and gawd, i cant believe that peeps were drooling over Kim NamJin's character back then.. i really cant find any thing 'special' about him nor his character.

i finished watching MISA about 2 weeks ago and i just go crazy over jisub.. and now that im watching TYOL makes me love him more. coz its just soo diff from MISA but he pulled it of really well. he's such a great actor.

Waited 4 Freezing Hours To Give A Ring To Girl I Met At A Blind Date

I will tell you my love story during 1st grade in High School. Back then it was very popular that students hang out in Cafes. I went there with a swimming team mate and I had my first meeting (blind date). Her name was “B.” She was the same age as I and she was a dancer, of modern arts.

She had long straight hair, and she looked cute and innocent. But that was it. Swimming was all I did and knew back then, and I wasn’t interested in having a girlfriend. At first, it was the same for “B” as well. But coincidentally, we both kept on meeting each other by accident, and before I knew it, I had fallen in love with “B.”

After going out with her for like a year, we had a big argument. I didn’t know what went wrong, but it seemed that our relationship was over. But I couldn’t accept that. So in order to make up with her, I bought an expensive couplelet’s ring and I went to B’s house. Back in those days, there was no cell phone nor pager, so all I could do was just wait for her in front of her house. I waited like that for 4 hours.

It was a cold winter day, but I had thought I’d see her right away so I was wearing very lightly. I became like a frozen bear. I jumped up and down and I practiced boxing with my fists to warm myself up, but it didn’t help much. But then, B came. I told her “I’m Sorry” and I put the ring in her finger. And of course, B was moved.

But when she tried to put the other ring in my finger, it didn’t fit. Huh?! While I was shaking in the cold, my fingers had swollen up. After we made up like this, B left for Canada during our 3rd grade of High School, thus ending our relationship.

As I grow older, my ideal woman changes. Right now, I like a woman who works hard at everything she does, and she knows how to do it well. And yes, I would like her to be pretty. Also, I would wish that she likes me more than I like her. Why? Because I’m not the type that falls in love at the first sight. Instead, I’m the type that slowly opens his heart as he gets to know the other person.

High School Senior Year, While Drinking With Friends, Got Into Hugh Fight. Winning in spite of the odds being 8 against 30.

Sportsmen learn how to drink early in their lives. The older teammates make you drink in order to discipline you. So I learned to drink during my senior year in High School.

I really drank a lot back then. I think I drank almost every day. On my worst days, I drank more than 5 bottles of soju. Wow~ right now, it’s hard for me to finish even 1 bottle…

But what’s really amazing is that I was never caught at home. Even when I drank, my facial color would not change, and since I always paid attention while drinking, I could remember everything. Besides, I grew a rare habit: as soon as I’d feel ‘I’m getting drunk’ I would run away. Even to this day, if I find myself ‘losing control’ of the situation, I just leave.

However, there was one time I got into a big mess. As expected, during my Senior year in High School. Before then, I could never make friends outside my swimming circle. But this year, I met some ‘non-swimmer’ friends. We were a diverse group, and we’d call ourselves “The Terrorists.”

The ‘mess’ began on our way to Inchon’s University. All of us, the 8 “Terrorists” had drank on this day also. But somehow, we started arguing with another gang, comprised of around 30 members.

Suddenly, we all started fighting. Since we were so disadvantaged in number, we were losing at first. But we were none other than the “Terrorist!” Each of us fought against like 4 of the other group as if we were fighting a 1 to 1 fight, and we slowly started overcoming them. Around 200 onlookers surrounded us. One or two of the other team ran away. Really, those were blooded rebel days! Ha haa!

Since Jisub’s already left a message, I’m thinking of writing my own “What Happened In Japan.” Too many things happened there and I might say things that are “off-the-record” here and be scolded by Jisub

The day before going to Japan, January 28th, we had a CF shooting. It started at 12 noon and it ended at around 5 in the morning. (CF shootings are always like this…) The problem was that we had to go to Japan without having slept at all. Neither Jisub nor I had time to check our luggage, nor could we doze for a second, and even so we were already running late, helele running! Once we arrived at the airport there were many people waiting for us… (Honestly, that felt good, ) On the plain, only then could I rest~ snore~~~ While dozing, we arrived in Japan!! At Narita Airport, even more people were waiting for us, so I was touched… Really!!!

Then, we joined the Music-Video Staff. But fans had found out the location of our hotel so we quickly changed to another hotel… (To a little better one…) We arrived in Japan on the 29th, and after doing this and that, it was already night time… We just ate whatever and we went to bed right away. Our first day was pretty uneventful.

On the 30th, we started to prepare for the Music-Video at 7:00 am. They started shooting the parts with only Jisub first. Those of you who watched the Video Clips know that the director is somewhat unique (though… cute). And funny too. Besides him, his assistant director and a couple of others, 70% of the staff were Japanese. So you can imagine how we all began using our body language right away… And filming ~~~ The first Japanese word Jisub leaned was “Yoroshiku Onegaishimass~~” which means “I request your kind cooperation.” The Japanese staff used “Onegaishimass” quite often. The Movie Making Clip will be shown pretty soon and you’ll find out Jisub will be speaking in Japanese, the little he knows.

The filming of the Music-Video was a bit rushed but we had fun doing it. Miss Jung Eun worked really hard. And the Japanese actor Osawa Dakao, who is very famous in Japan, he might have felt a little awkward working in such a Koreanized environment, but he was really enjoying it and working hard at it. And of course our Jisub worked the hardest… (Exactly what his manager should say )

They were shooting a running scene in the City. After running around 5 times, Jisub was having hard time breathing: But in fainting voice he said: “One more time!!!” At this word, the Japanese staff were moved and raised their voices ~~~ (Hmmm… of course he’s all THAT )

After this, during the helicopter scene… The scene where he’s crying out and fainting while watching the helicopter leave with Miss Jung Eung on it, they started filming this in Yokohama at 1 in the morning and ended at around 5… When you watch you’ll see he wore a thin safari shirt… (But this day was very cold and windy). With no time to sleep, they continued filming in Tokyo, and this day too, they worked till 4 in the morning… (It ended with the kissing scene…) Those who watched the Making Clip on TV worried that Jisub’s eyes were swollen and that he looked kind of sick. The reason: he couldn’t sleep for 2 days consecutively while filming. This is how the filming of the Music-Video was completed.

Maybe it was because it’s been such a long time since he last worked in a Music-Video, but Jisub really enjoyed doing it. And all the staff were really nice and worked really well together, beginning with our coordinator Hae Joon plus the world team…

The lunch boxes are commonplace in Japan. That’s the #1 type of food we ate in there. And it was delicious. And since they eat rice like us, I had no trouble eating… (The only thing I missed was Kimchi…) In our first lunch box, we had umeboshi, and Jisub really liked it…

You may know this already, but Jisub’s staff’s comprised of all women. Since his manager’s a woman, his coordinators and hair stylists are all women also. It’s pretty funny to see this 182cm tall man walk, followed by a bunch of women. Sometimes, he has to carry the heaviest luggage… But Jisub’s such a good heart… He carries it as if it’s the most natural thing. When other teams see this, they get jealous and touched…. (As for us, we love watching this~~~ keee kee kee) Jisub may not be too open and talkative either, but he’s the caring type. This is the reason our hair stylist and our coordinator became his die-hard fans. (They were not his fans at first…) There are many people who actually became his die-hard fans after finding out this side of him: touched by his honest actions. But I will elaborate on this at a later time…

*To say too many things at one sitting is no fun, but since this is the first day, I wrote a bit too long… Next time… hmmm… I will write little by little~~~ So… look forwards for my next one… (This is just the beginning~~kee kee). Devilish laughter .

Ah… There was a wrong report going around. Jisub’s not really posing as a Model for G.I.A. company. Instead, this company’s starting a new Jisub’s line. The Brand Name is “So Ji Sub’s Jeans.” Tomorrow’s the shooting day for this. Also, he’ll be having an Autograph Meeting on the 25th. The place’s not set yet, but since this is during the week, we’ll do it during the afternoon. I will let you know the details later.
