Hello! Ahnyounghasaeyo! Ni Hao! Bonjour! Hola! Konichiwa! ______! (Sorry that’s all I know). Welcome to the FINAL round of the Soompi Royals Competition 2007. This has been another year of intense competition. We have the same ladies who were in the finals last year also in this year’s. We have two new faces in the King category and one new face in the Prince category that made it to this year’s finals. The competition has been fiery and I’d like to thank everyone who participated in this competition and helped me organize the pictures. You guys really helped make this competition the best it could be. I enjoyed running this competition for 3 years now. When I started, I never thought this contest would be as popular as it is now and certainly not “official.” I was nevertheless surprised when I saw the number of people who voted. This is the best forum I’ve ever been on and I feel like we’re a family here. Soompi is so special and no forum can be as unique and diverse as ours. I regret to say that next year, I will not be in charge of the Soompi Competition. I already have people who I asked to carry on the Soompi Queen, Prince, and King competition, but if they forget, I hope one of you can take charge and run at least one of the categories. You can ask other Soompiers for help and I will try my best to help if I am still on Soompi. I am going off to college next year and I feel that it is time for me to pass on the tradition to other Soompiers. I am not the most competent in putting up the best pictures and I’m sure there are others out there who are more skilled than me. I will have less time to be on Soompi because of studies, work, and other activities. Anyway, running this competition helped me learn a lot about responsibility and I felt good that I was bringing some kind of joy/interest to others. I look forward to next year with optimism because even if the Soompi Royals Competition dies out, our love for Korean celebrities will still remain the same. We all share a common interest and this is a special place where people from all over can connect. I love you guys and I hope you had fun with the different Competitions! Now we will start the last round of the Soompi Royals Competition of 2007! The theme is: well-roundedness. Who has the whole package and is the more qualified celebrity, entertainer, and royal highness? The deadline will be June 24th at 12:00 am!!
