I did not watch the currently ongoing drama which I think also about mental health topic. 

when tkem was airing I checked the top 10 in my country but to no luck. Nway this new drama just landed on top 8 in my country few days ago I supposed it’s quite a milestone here (I’m in oz). It’s very very rare or almost none for kdrama to rank here they are always just on the trending section. 
 

So I supposed the mental health topic attracts people?  and i think also very smartly titled that it captures  people’s attention. 
 

if anyone Is watching is that sort of storyline considered critically acclaimed too? I’m curious if the writer and Pd is good? I googled the PD he seems to have directed encounter which I quite like because or Mrs.dots .

It's a melo and fairytalish not acclaimed but entertainment value and targetted for audience. It's not a biography nor has social awareness element. It's bordering fantasy with all the ghosts in the show. I loved the first 5 episodes and didn't enjoy 6th that much but I will tune for the 7th and 8th soon.

For you to be able to appreciate Faith when you're only on episode 9, is really something given the sageuk, the low-budget set/cinematography, and the Wuxia element that makes it difficult for most to digest. I love it more when LMH plays characters who are mature and have other things to do other than being in love, CH, Faith and TKEM fall in this category in terms of the overall plot and characters. They were also more interesting and had more substance. At age 30+ it'd be nice that he goes for quality, maturity and wider variety/range moving forward.

 

To be fair, i had @heretorant giving me the spills on Choi young's character and some people here happened to be re watching Faith, so i got a bit of spoiler unfortunately. However, i do enjoy choi young slowly but surely fall in love heheheh....i got giddy . He definitely is a well written character.

I feel like we have shortage of writer, PD and even FL. Everybody is busy!! I want to have the list of all the writers and PDs who have offered LMH projects and he has them on MYM desks. They have to be good ones. But everybody is busy!!  It took 8 months for LMH to finish TKEM and that is a long time. Do writers wait for actors to finish project and then start writing? LOL I want a writer to specifically write a role with LMH in her mind and craft the character for him. I don't want leftovers. LOL The writer has to have LMH in her mind and she has to be perfect. 

You know, our luck...he is the next ML in Hong Sisters drama

you haven't watch faith? I encourage you to give it a try. Saeguk is not my cup of tea at all, i have tried 3 times and i could never go pass episode 2, but the last time i tried, i power through and i am now on episode 10. One of the well written LMH character.

After all these years of writing drama, their drama are boring and not good enough, even the hit ones. ML not well-written and story gets boring after 4-5 episodes. Something is always missing in their dramas. 

 

 

 

we don't get news of LMH's next project, instead we get anxiety over Hong sisters' drama come back  what is this? First it was LOTBS S2 and now Hong sisters

wait, I know they are sisters. But both the same style. I don't think one is better or worse than the other. They both write for drama. i watched some episodes of HDL because of IU but i still didn't like their drama. LMH deserves 100 times better!!  I would rather see him come back with a great movie script than Hong sisters. Sorry hong!  

i can never get convinced to see LMH work with Hong sisters.
