A number of actors such as Lee Min Ho, Hyun Bin, Song Joong Ki ... are beautiful and talented talking about how many Vietnamese female fans have been "drunk like smokers" over the years.

The Korean screen should be the "bowl" of a male god, if you randomly choose a movie, viewers can also see many handsome men, from beautiful colors to elegant and stylish "brothers".

However, there are 6 handsome men who have successfully won the hearts of the sisters and have been chosen among the gods of the Korean screen that the Vietnamese audience loves the most. To the extent referred to as a cure for the epidemic season, only these 6 members reached the top and were chosen by the Vietnamese audience to send gold, going viral throughout MXH ...

LEE MIN HO

Lee Min Ho is a rare actor who hasn't waned after decades in the entertainment industry. Whenever a new movement is associated with it, people immediately rush to search and "scour" all corners of the social network. A God-man born in 1987 rarely gets the love of so many viewers for his handsome, elegant, pompous appearance, which becomes more and more stylish over time.

Even though it's been 14 years since debuting, Lee Min Ho is still in the 1000-degree heat when he first swept Asia with his role as Goo Jun Pyo in Meteor Garden. It is no exaggeration to say that Lee Min Ho is the "king" who owns the second largest harem in Vietnam.

@CarolynH ohhh................... only very few of restos serve meatless options. In Seoul, trying to find a restaurant to dine  is a hassle to say the least when almost everything contains meat. Most restaurant simply doesn’t have one so, it's a bit hard to find the most vegan-friendly item on the menu. It usually requires spending extra time finding suitable restaurants or cafes when opting to dine out. Fully vegan dine-out options are limited. I think she has to look for Indian or Moroccan restaurants, as the two cuisines often have vegan-friendly items listed on their menus. Overall, life as a vegan has been difficult in Seoul. It’s kind of difficult to find vegan-friendly restaurants in Seoul when it’s hard to find anyone going with that lifestyle in the country. There are few but not much option is still available when dining out. Like in many countries, vegans and vegetarians have a negative image for many in Korea. Koreans see some vegans’ attitudes as obnoxious. But, compared to years earlier, it is now much easier to find vegetarian food options at grocery stores but, certainly not enough. The number of vegans in Korea is small at the moment. Hahaha - In case, when she enters the resto, she can say : naneun chaesigjuuijada - meaning, I am vegan................ :7555_attack:

The picture of breakfast did not look appetizing at all, noodle salad, lemon or lime flavored tofu and a couple other things.

Lee Min Ho: Ambassador for Korean Language and Culture for the Third Year in a Row

King Sejong Institute maintains Lee Min Ho as its spokesperson since 2019, for the impact of his K-dramas and movies on international audiences.

Despite his one-year hiatus, Lee Min Ho has not lost fame among foreign audiences. The 34-year-old actor who will soon appear on the Apple TV + series Pachinko has been confirmed as a promoter of Korean language and culture for the third year in a row.

Lee Min Ho , a Hallyu icon from the hit drama Boys over flowers, was commissioned by the King Sejong Institute Foundation for the first time in 2019. Since then, he has starred in advertising videos to spread Korean language learning to international audiences.

On August 13, 2021, the entity established by the South Korean government reaffirmed its trust in the actor as a spokesperson for its projects. The collaboration with Lee Min Ho will run until 2022.

“As a promoter for the past two years, I was proud to see so many foreigners around the world who are interested in and enjoy Korean language and culture. I will continue working to spread it, "said the actor from The heirs according to Yonhap.

Lee Min Ho's popularity remains strong even though it has been 14 months since the last episode of The King: Eternal Monarch , a drama that marked his return to television after completing his military service.

His followers await the premiere of the Pachinko series, inspired by the best-selling book by writer Min Jin Lee. The filming of this project in Canada culminated in April, after leaving several anecdotes of encounters between Lee Min Ho and his fans.

@Lindyloo421 LazMall, which acquired a new brand ambassador recently, is only a part of the Lazada Group, which got LMH as its ambassador last year. LazMall is Lazada's selection of authorized brands and distributors. When LMH was ambassador last year, I think it also covered LazMall. I guess this LazMall arm got its own ambassador now, hence HB's tag, 'LazMall's first regional ambassador'. But LMH is Lazada Group's first regional ambassador. I hope he still is though.

@Lindyloo421 ohhh.............is LMH the new endorser for LBB? This is Paris-based but, they have an outlet in Seoul. Seo YeJi is the endorser for their cosmetic brand for SK. Re-Lazada, are you referring to Hyunbin? He's the new face of LazMall, Lazada has officially launched this on its platform where it will work with consumer brands to sell branded

goods to customers.    :wut:

September issues not only for Esquire but applies to all fashion magazines are such a big deal. Every year, when September rolls around, for those who are in the fashion magazines they're on-hype: Who will have the largest issue? Who will have the COOLEST cover? Who, essentially will deliver the best September issue? Hence, the question of why they're so important in the first place. Sept. issue signals "back to school", autumn/fall month & the end of summertime. It represents the start of a new fashion season after months of warm-weather clothes ruling the scene. Publications are well aware of these things. Every Sept. they track & publish the no. of ad pages in every fashion magazine as a signal of how well they are all doing. Due to this, the cover of a magazine's Sept. issue has now become particularly crucial. As the first thing readers will see, it can make or break their overall perception of the issue (and the likelihood that they'll buy it). Most magazine strive to either do something very different or to land a cover star who is popular. Usually, planned-out 6-8 months in advance, considerations include model vs. celebrity, kinds of shot, location vs. studio shoot, and most importantly - what the star will wear. Magazine cover is important. It sells the brand. Print may be dying & decline now but the magazine cover still plays an essential role in sustaining a media brand. Their covers still capture the public's attention. A magazine cover is a digital selling point. It's one of the reasons the industry still exists. The more popular a cover subject, the better the sales. It's a statement. If the pages inside diminish, they diminish but, I think the cover is as powerful as ever!     :rubchin:

A large, detailed and interesting article on the history and future of Korean dramas. Here's a tiny excerpt:

The K-Drama Renaissance
How South Korean entertainment took over your TV.

BY REGINA KIM
AUG 17, 2021

... And it seems the global popularity of K-dramas will only continue to grow. Currently, K-dramas on Netflix are dubbed and subbed in over 30 languages, including English, German, French, Swedish, Hindi, Portuguese, and Bahasa Indonesia. The entertainment powerhouse announced earlier this year that it is investing $500 million in Korean content in 2021. Apple TV+ and Disney+ are following suit, with the former adding at least two of its original K-dramas, Dr. Brain and Pachinko, later this year, and the latter working with local producers to create more Korean content...

Lee Min Ho, "Song Hye Kyo's clone", claims to be unsure of his appearance

August 17, 2021

God gave them outstanding looks, but Lee Min Ho, Han Seo Hee and many other Korean stars don't realize it.

The following names are greatly loved by the public due to their outstanding looks as famous men and women in the Korean entertainment industry. But they themselves do not think so. Han Seo Hee, Seo In Guk, or Lee Min Ho once confused people when they weren't sure about their appearance.

Lee Min Ho

Lee Min Ho is known as the main idol of Kbiz, as well as the dream guy of many female fans around the world. However, he once provoked "irritation" of people when he expressed dissatisfaction with his appearance. The King: Eternal Monarch actor once said that he always considered himself very poor, not what people praised:

“I don't consider myself beautiful at all. My eyelids are drooping and my face is a bit big."

He also consistently praised the other actors: "I think Kim Woo Bin and Park Hyun Sik are handsome like male gods."

Lee Min-ho: "My YouTube channel starts with inspiration for good people. Not greedy to show something"

Actor Lee Min-ho's photo shoot with a brand's 2021 FW marked the cover of the September issue of the men's magazine Esquire. With the theme "I'm Not There," the pictorial is said to have started with a plan that sheds light on actor Lee Min-ho's unique charm and present a new image. From bold chain necklaces, skateboards, pizza boxes and tumbler-shaped bags to colorful suits, red padding jackets and silver monogram pattern coats. Lee Min-ho showed a new pose and expression in each outfit with a high understanding of the concept and immersion, leading to admiration of the field staff.

The following interviews also reveal Lee Min-ho's colorful charm. First of all, regarding his YouTube channel "Lee Min-ho Film," which has recently become a huge sensation, he said, "People are the most important factor," adding that most projects start with inspiration for good people around him. I'm not doing this out of the greed of showing something new to the public.

He said, "I think I always have an obsession with novelty in my acting," adding, "That's the context of choosing Ko Han-soo of the Apple TV drama "Pachinko," which recently finished filming." He thought it was a must-have role in terms of the Korean landscape from the eyes of the overseas filming team and the history of Korea shot with large overseas capital, but he felt that he could show something he had not shown before through Ko Han-soo. In addition to that, the interview continues with various stories, including the personal meaning of the previous film, "The King: Eternal Monarch," the reason why he appeared as a no guarantee in a documentary, and his thoughts on his works in his 20s.

In addition to pictorials and interviews, video contents include "Fashion Film," which sensibly captures the filming site, and " Comment Interview," which immediately answers various questions left by fans. The two videos will be released sequentially on Esquire Korea's YouTube account within August. Actor Lee Min-ho's pictorial and interviews can be found in the September 2021 issue of "Esquire," and some of them can be seen on the "Esquire" website.

Answer: Yes, I have done several commercial photoshoot but this is the first time I did the magazine photoshoot and interview for it.

I was worried about it but when I actually tried on the clothes one by one and took a picture with the watches, I think the the mood suits me.

Question: You are wondering about that too. Wondering if it doesn't suit yourself.
Answer: Yes of course. It's not like I was afraid, or prefer to reject it. I have work on this field for over 10 years, there has been an objectification on how I look and I will think "I need to do it up until this point and it's acceptable for me." "I need to do these things a lot to get to past this", realistically. Now even if I don't try to do it, I seem to able to figure it out on my own.

Question: It might be difficult today because there are a lot of clothes to be worn. If I am not mistaken when the cut scene finally finished, we saw that you seem to be standing with your eyes closed.
Answer: The photoshoot took longer than I thought. When we're over of taking 1 until 5 shots, the turning point came. But then, it was fine afterwards. Even until now too, it's still fine.

Question: In a video interview after the photoshoot you were asked "Is there a song that comes to mind right now?", you mentioned Michael Bublé's 'Home'. For a moment, does the melody really comes through your mind and you seem to really want to go home.
Answer: (laugh) Let me go home~ (humming with arms reached out).

Question: But what would you do once you got home?
Answer: Today? If I am going now, I might have dinner and take a look on how today's Olympic games went. And after watching the games for a while, I think I will need to film again so therefore I need to look for related material. Then it will be in the morning/dawn afterwards.

Question: By filming and looking for related material, are you talking about Lee Min Ho Film and your YouTube Channel?
Answer: Yes, that is correct.
Question: You look for the material by yourself, and edit all of the video by yourself. Actually, we are all surprised to hear that Lee Min Ho does a lot of editing. It is a task which consumes a lot of time and stamina, more than you can imagine which is probably could not be understood by people who have never done video editing.
Answer: When you're filming, there will be some thoughts "Oh I should write this and this should be used!". However when I look at the result, there are things and cuts that I miss. I watch the result many times as to not miss anything, to avoid those things. Also, I also have to personally edit it so that people who help and watch it, can understand them. That's what I want. It would be more clearly explained if you do it, rather than explaining by words/saying it a hundred times. I think that my personality is like that. Rather than persuading and explain with words, it is more comfortable to just say "This is how I feel" with actions.

Question: Indeed there would be some missing parts should different person/someone else was put in charge of editing. As soon as Lee Min Ho sat down in the restaurant because he was tired, we can see everything when you were blinking your eyes. Also the scene where we can hear dogs barking, where you were startled while taking a walk at night.
Answer: That's right. But I am not the only one who sticks to my own style and being stubborn. First of all, I ask the editor to edit with his own sense then I continue to edit/organize in which I want to use. Therefore, I try to find the good points between the edits and mix them well.

Question: We thought that being unique but yet consistent, is an obvious advantage that comes from having a lot of direct/personal involvement. Especially on the early videos, there seems to be sadness despite the fun and bright colored video. It's like a vague energy between happiness and sadness.
Answer: Actually, both sides of emotion coexist in everything. When I work, there are good things but there are also uncomfortable parts. There are times when I was happy, and there are times when I was sad. But I think, I like both emotions that way, because I am fully aware that I always live in the middle/between them.

Question: Episode 1 is especially meaningful.
Answer: It's actually not a big deal, but I took it whole-heartedly and indeed it was meaningful.

Question: (laugh) We felt that the message was clear. There is an image of Lee Min Ho getting out of the car, going up the stairs one by one and in the meantime all of his activities overlap. At the and, Lee Min Ho could be seen as a silhouette in a dark room.
Answer: I don't know, fans seems to understand it a little bit better. There are images of me outside which have been accumulated over the years but when I come home, took a shower and wash my body, I return to the real me. That's what I meant.

Question: Is the house in the video actually Lee Min Ho's house?
Answer: It is my actual house.

Question: As a new project was uploaded a few weeks ago, the category increased to three. Movie Log, Collaboration Log, and Brand Film.
Answer: When I first started, there were actually four categories. I also wanted to make a short film. but..for now, I am not really sure. I like the sense of short films such as the music videos from the 1990s and therefore I would like to try something like that. However, there aren't many opportunities like that lately. So I think it would be fun to make it into a format like 10-minutes short film with a modern touch.

Question: We think that this is the first time we have heard of this. Is this how we got the news that Lee Min Ho will make a short film exclusively...
Answer: No, No! (laugh) You can't be dreaming/hoping for too much yet. As I said before, sometimes I feel lazy so that I am not sure when I can come out with an new idea. It can be coming out within a year or so.

Question: But nevertheless, Lee Min Ho Film continue to expand.
Answer: Yes, expanding..but to be honest, I do not have any specific goals or method to expand. If you do it based on requests coming in, it seems like it could be done in a short time. I can't do it. So, in a way, the color/sense of individual work is strong right now.

Question: As expected, you mush have received a lot of requests. In the video, each project seems to start with a light touch and looks easy.
Answer: The most important thing for me in Lee Min Ho's film is the character anyway. The charm of the people around me, the aspect of being a good adult/person, integrity that I saw from my friends, responsibility of what we each have done so far in our respected paths for the past 10 years or so. This whole thing start because I have a feeling for those things. New collection came out, new music came out, so let's do it together. Like that.

Question: We see it, the most important thing is character. Lee Min Ho is very down-to-earth. If he doesn't like something, then he doesn't like it. We think that this is the reason why you can bring up such expression with expected context such as "People, Happiness and Love".
Answer: I have to cherish those things, I have to do well, I don't think that I've intentionally think about it. Even when those thoughts come to mind, I wonder "Why am I like this?". I think it is probably the emotions that was created by mixing a lot things one by one. First of all, there mush have been an influence from my profession as an actor. When I express a character/emotion, it has to be real. Also when I was a teenager, I met a lot of people on the set. People who always try their best for one cut/scene, so I think I learn something there. Rather than being calculating and judging, let's just do our best in the present, that's what important and coming first. Personally, I think that it should have been applied naturally to human relationships.
