Kdramas with non-human main characters and fantasy elements are the best. I am not alone in this opinion; These Korean supernatural dramas are very popular and for good reason. When the main character is a non-human, be it an angel, a robot, an alien, a mermaid, a webtoon, or a goblin, the storyline tends to be more unpredictable, exciting, and fun because the possibilities are endless.

Although each story is unique, all non-human characters are extraordinarily attractive - endowed with a combination of superhuman strength, goodness, wealth, beauty, and even human relationships. (How can a common man compete?) Notably, later Kdrams have very strong female main characters, which is a welcome shift from the usually weaker female main characters in older Kdrams.

You see the other side of LMH in this supernatural Korean drama and it was so much fun to watch.
