To all Minoz From pep alert : during presscon Lee Min Ho describes his shopping habit as "short but sweet." He doesn‘t take too much time shopping for clothes and goes for what he wants right away. When it comes to hair styling, the Korean actor says he doesn‘t put too much effort to it especially if there is nothing special to do that day. Korean star Lee Min Ho admitted he has heard and danced to Psy‘s global hit "Gangnam Style." However, when he was asked to dance at the presscon ongoing now, the City Hunter actor said, "I‘ll do it some other time, in a more private event maybe," in Korean, of course.

@Luvminho nope. Those were pep alerts from one of philippine entertainment portals....Thanks for the welcome I'll be at his FM tomorrow at the Araneta Coliseum...I love to see him dance the "gangnam style" at the fun meet but yes i think he is too shy to do that.

MANILA, Philippines -- Even before Korean superstar Lee Min Ho actually set foot in Manila, the hashtag #WelcomeToManilaLEEMINHO already trended online as his Filipino fans took to social media to express their excitement over the "Boys Over Flowers" star's four-day visit in the country.

Lee Min Ho, who's been tapped to become the newest “GlobalBenchSetter" after rising to fame for his role as Gu Jun Pyo in the hit Korean series "Boys Over Flowers," arrived  at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 past noon on Thursday.

The hashtag #WelcomeToManilaLEEMINHO trended nationwide as early as Thursday morning as Filipino netizens repeatedly expressed their love and fondness for the Korean actor.

The popularity of Lee Min Ho is one proof of the big impact of Korean culture on a critical mass of Filipinos.

His action series "City Hunter" was aired on ABS-CBN twice due to insistent public demand.

Filipino netizens used micro-blogging site Twitter to show  how thrilled they are over the Korean superstar.
