Hi gtLmh, thanks for sharing this. As far as I remember Gangnam 1970 was re-aired on OCN channel last May, and then this movie topped the search list on Naver. Even though this movie is a 2015 film it always topped the search list on Naver. Lee Min Ho got a lot of awards for this movie, too. . Was it a 2nd/3rd time now?

It is very different from the UK where we have the BBC who don’t need to rely on sponsors or advertisers, or even ratings, because every household in the country who own a TV has to - by law - buy a licence to view BBC programmes- so that’s where the BBC money comes from. Our other main channels have adverts every fifteen minutes during a drama -like Downtown Abbey for example. But all are, like you say, pre recorded often  months before.

 

We know The King is being pre-recorded- will that be a first for a drama on a main channel.(I know the cable channels there have shown pre recorded dramas)

 

 

 

 

Hi Lindyloo,  as far as I know, there were Korean TV series, which have long been known for their live-shoot production format. Like the KBS’ 2015 series "Descendants of the Sun" - It was fully pre-produced series. The drama started airing only after production had wrapped. SBS "Defendant” was either partially pre-produced.

I have post 3 times of Gangnam 1970 topped Naver search list on twitter and didn't post it last month. So at least re-aired on last was 4th time in this year. 

 

By the way, Official Minoz China will be closed and C-Minoz will be the part of Global Minoz Family.

Thanks for all the posts of his travel to and from Indonesia. I can hardly believe how great he looks!  But someone said in a blog, I think, that he wasn't wearing makeup when he arrived back in Korea. Not so. He's obviously wearing lip color and I can't see that slight slash mark on his cheek, which to me indicates he's wearing makeup.  But never mind, he just looks fabulous, in great shape to start filming "The King"!

Hi MsDot2, I couldn't agree with you - I think so, too! Of course it's okay not to wear makeup. In fact, it might be a little bit better that he doesn't. It means he can be comfortable in his own skin. Well, he's gorgeous, with and without makeup, anyway.
