Anyone watching it on Youtube?
For some reason I'm getting obsessed with Britain's Got Talent. Is anyone else watching it? BTW, Simon from American Idol is a judge. LOL!

Here are a few acts:

6 Year Old Singer, Connie Talbot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=En0A8KGMgq8

Opera Singer, Paul Potts:

12 Year Old Actress, Bessie Cursons: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LucH6caInQs

Damon Scott and his monkey: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rd5BERFEOLk

13 Year Old Breakdancer, George Sampson: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pa-6QAvosb4

Rapping Granny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldPS5q_28Rc

Crap Auditions! : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P67g3hudr4g LOL!

For some reason I'm more interested in this than America's Got Talent.

They should've had George Sampson go to the semi-final! I can't believe that lame, Madonna lady covered in warts got another performance and he didn't!

For those who don't know who I'm talking about, here she is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOvesfh_ALk Ew.

George is going to get lots of attention after Britain's Got Talent anyway. Next thing you know he'll dance in videos. Such a cutie with the nicest smile.

Paul Potts has won the final. His voice is so breathtaking, he really deserved to win.

Here is his winning performance:

First of all, I have to say that YOUTUBE is the best invention... (since the internet ;])

hahaha...

Anyway, I've been catching a bunch of Britain's Got Talent on Youtube. My absolute favorite acts were Paul Potts, Conny, and one of the dancers (but I forgot his name...George?)

B.G.T. is more serious and heartfelt than A.G.T. yay paul!

haha, I love Britain's Got Talent! It's very intriguing. I find it far more entertaining than The X Factor.

I really don't understand why we use the letter X so much in our reality TV shows... :sweatingbullets:

Hell. Now I'm going to watch all these YouTube videos when I really should be doing something else!

edit:

Oh yeah. I forgot it was based on America's Got Talent. Weird...

The song is Drop by Timbaland ft. Fatman Scoop and Magoo.

I agree with you kristykremes, B.G.T. is more heartfelt and you care about the performers more since you know their stories. A.G.T. is great with just as much talent but it just seems kinda flat and cold. They're both great but I'm more drawn to Britain's Got Talent.

Have any of you seen these acts?:

Jake Pratt, 11 Year Old Comedian:

Craig Wormersley, Baton Twirler:

Crew 82, Beat Boxers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IromCVJUsKY

Tony Laf, Musician:

Shakira, 4 Year Old Salsa Dancer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ke0JGNG0c-0

Luke & Charlotte, Ball Room Dancers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTD4MZiBruM

MD Productions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8f6DRz9iwCM

Doesn't Simon seem to be easier on the British than the Americans? I can't help but think he's a little biased lol.

small rant about Paul Potts. He pretty much sang only two songs this entire competition. 'Nessun Dorma' and 'Con Te Partiro'. It almost seems like the crowned him winner after his first performance as well.

Connie and Damon Scott pretty much did the same acts also. I guess they seemed to pick their best songs in the auditions for a highest chance of getting in and didn't know what to follow up on. Especially Damon Scott, did anyone see how he pretty much screwed up the semi-final?

Eh, the second 'Nessum Dorma' seemed longer anyway. :sweatingbullets:

No one expected much guess you never can tell who will blow you away with their talent. Based on this 2 minute clip I'm buying this dude's CD.

No offense, but isn't Paul Potts kind of an old story? And I really like the guy and his voice, but to be fair he wasn't exactly untrained before he joined the competition.

Nevertheless, Nessun dorma is a great choice. It's my favorite aria and Paul Potts sings it well. If you wanna be truly blown away, listen to a rendition by Jussi Bjorling--he wouldn't have made the best Calaf on stage but in terms of vocals and emotion he's untouchable.

O this, I've watched this before...Paul Potts is good, but I must say that his past and his skills have been over exaggerated to some extent.
