Guest aznglory
Lots of new debut albums from one million stars alumni...judy, stanley, peter, queen wei, huang jin lun, rachel liang. Queen's album seems to be sold out everywhere, =0( Also waiting impatiently for lala and hopefully 簡鳳君 's debut albums!
Guest Chen-ney
ohhh i watch this show purely for Jam, Ba Leng (idk her real name) and Alysha (? the mixed girl with amaaazing voice) i find jam soo cute, how he's like soooooooooooooooooo shy one minute. and then when he gets on stage he's like so charismatic <3 <3 and his voice is to die for. i heard his duet w/ A-mei and if possible, he outdid her
Guest keladry
2008 really has been a bountiful year for our dear alumni, hasn't it? Y2J's debut album remains my favorite in all aspects. Yoga's debut album ranks quite high in terms of quality as well. Out of the new wave of alumni debut albums, I like Queen's album best. It's pretty cool how she composed/wrote 8 out of the 10 tracks. Now I'm eagerly anticipating Liang Wenyin's debut album (out 12/12). Lala's mentioned that her album is very tentatively planned for a February 2009 release (around the time of Lunar New Year). Keep in mind that Lala stressed that no dates are anywhere near set. Her record company AsiaMuse is known for granting artistes quite a lot of artistic autonomy; I think we can expect good songs from Lala. It looks like 簡鳳君 is going to concentrate on her freshman collegiate life for now. Being only 19, there really is no need for her to rush. She seems to want to enjoy her student life as much as she can before settling on a singing career. Wu Zhongming (Quack) from Class 2 mentioned in a news article (12/8) that his debut album is to be released soon. (Maybe January 2009). Ye Weiting (Wuni) from Class 2 is on a leave of absence from her variety show hosting assignment and said to be in the midst of recording her debut album. Guest Fuznut88
in honestly, Only Jam who wasn;t even a participant of the show is the most popular singer right now. Yoga and Aska albums arent even as great.

Guest limelight
I didn't really watch this show. But lately I've been listening to Derrick Ho's songs and I really like them. I also have to go find the other albums & listen to them!

I wonder if lin xin yi got signed...I dont like her though. Lin Xinyi has signed with a record company. She said so in a blog entry. She didn't specify as to which record company though. I'm pretty neutral about Lin Xinyi; no likes or dislikes. She is a skilled singer for sure ... good technique, voice control, power and so forth ... But her singing tends to lack "something" like a captivating factor that leaves you breathless. You know what I mean? The judges kept picking on that problem of hers throughout the competition. The good news is that all the contestants usually improve loads in the months after the competition. Lin Xinyi is just missing a piece of the puzzle, so to speak. I have to admit that her handling of certain incidents was not flattering for her overall image. Rather detrimental as a matter of fact. That seems to be the general consensus as well. Guest keladry
Okay, it's official. Wu Zhongming has signed with Rock Records. The press conference was held 12/9. Liang Wenyin's album release press con was also held 12/9. Universal Music seems to be going all out with the promotions for her album. Pets Zeng Peici has put her singing career on hold. She's currently preparing for the national graduate school exam which will be held in March 2009. So in summary, out of the Season 2 Top 10, only 3 of them (Annie, Pets, Christina (the cabin attendant)) have no current plans of releasing albums. Huang Meizhen, Yuming, Queen have already released albums. Liang Wenyin's album will be out on 12/12. Wu Zhongming's album might be out by January 2009. Ye Weiting is preparing to release her album. Li Qianna signed with Universal Music and her album should be out sometime in 2009. I wonder if it's going to be a Mandarin or Minnan dialect album? Oh, and let's not forget Alisa and Dai Anna. Both of them are also signed with Universal Music.
Guest cococrust
I have a feeling that these contestants did not get a huge bonus or high contract value. The record company is just putting in small risk and they have a chance to score it big if the market goes well with the album releases. Some of them would probably be forgotten in the industry after 2-3 years.

Guest aznglory
Omg lala is finally releasing her debut album and they are actually her own compositions from the show! I was rather disappointed with queen wei's debut album because I was hoping to hear her own compositions from the show. Cant wait until 6/5!
