Four Seasons House

Experience Hallyu Dramas throughout the Four Seasons

863113_1_9.jpg

The Four Seasons House, located in Sangsu-dong, Seoul, is becoming one of the hottest spots for international tourists visiting Korea. Four Seasons was created by Yoon Suk-ho, a TV drama director who has produced some of the most famous Hallyu dramas such as 'Autumn in my Heart 가을동화' (2000), 'Winter Sonata 겨울연가' (2002), 'Summer Scent여름향기' (2003), 'Spring Waltz 봄의 왈츠' (2006), and 'Snow Queen눈의 여왕' (2006). The site was used as a filming spot for the dramas and now displays memorabilia/props from the series and reenacts some of the more well-known scenes.

The most eye-catching part of the grounds is the small white cottage located in the garden. The cottage houses a recreation of the room where Song Seung-heon proposed to Son Ye-jin in the drama 'Summer Scent.' The ceiling of the cottage full of yellow roses and the melodious background music from the drama's OST transport visitors back into one of the most beloved scenes from the drama.

Every corner of Four Seasons House is full of the hidden secrets of viewer's most-revered dramas. On the first floor and basement, visitors can take a look at some of the items used during production — costumes, props, scripts, etc. The first floor contains sets, photos, props, and the OSTs from 'Autumn in my Heart' and 'Summer Scent' while the basement houses memorabilia from 'Winter Sonata' and 'Snow Queen.'
