I don't know that many people who like Whistle! either! Esp. not online. In real life, I only know a couple of people, but they don't go CRAZY over it like I do!

Fuwa is one of my faves but my number one is Shige! =)

OMG! The ending part of the Korean vs Tokto Select team things was different from the anime! I was soo surprised. (Okay, the only difference was the Shige part but OMG!)

And the Shige playing for Kansai against Sho thing almost killed me! OMG! It was SUCH a shocker! I can't wait to see what happens! It's soo interesting.

It's awesome because it shows a whole match from start to finish! So many cute moments between to boys! OMG! And the moves!!! AHHHHH! I LOVE WHISTLE SO DANG MUCH!!!! XD

And now I can't wait for Volume 23 and 24! Volume 23 comes out on September and who knows when the final volume, 24 comes out! Probably by December??

I've been reading this manga for about 5 (almost 6) years and I finally read the ending. I really loved the whole series. The ending almost made me want to cry. I can't believe that happened to Sho. I can't believe I got to see everyone as HS students. (I think maybe even recent HS graduates). Things about Volume 23 that I especially liked were the whole Shige-Sho-Tatsuya thing. Esp. the Tatsuya-Shige side story. I never knew their relationship was like that. That they were so 'similar' like Shige puts it. After that, I think it's already in Volume 24, I love when Shige tells Sho "Hey, I guess I'm pretty awesome at soccer" and Sho sincerely tells him "Yes! You're great" and Shige doesn't know how to respond to that. lol. And then when Tatsuya hugs Sho I almost died. It was such a sweet scene. But then THAT happened. But then I got to see everyone in HS. And then the flashback. It really hurt when Tatsuya was having an "If only..." moment and Shige told him "Don't you dare say that. Or I swear I'm going to kill myself." Because if anyone was to blame... (not that I blamed anyone) It was just really unfortunate. It broke my heart to see Sho like that but the ending~ his smile. He is such an amazing character. I really enjoyed this series and one day I would love to reread it from start to finish in one go. All the volumes in one day. Reading it in six years was pretty epic, but the storyline is so good~ so nice and inspiring~ it must be read more than once. *heart*

And it's another FIFA world cup year! Wow! It's starts on Friday!

So with all my heart I recommend this story for everyone. It's very lovely.

Since I know I'm going to miss it when it's over--definitely will re-read. <3 Haven't been able to read it in a while, so I think I'm going to go back to 20, and go from there. I own the whole collection of this series, I just LOVE it! This was the manga that got me into soccor, coming from the states soccor isn't that big a sport here like it is around the world. I can re-read this one over and over again and never get tired of it.

This is a series to be read, really realistic and so inspirational. And I just love Sho, his character is so enduring and adorable, yet so determined about what he wants, he just keeps on getting up and trying again no matter what the odds. Props to Daisuke Higuchi!
