@Noor90 absolutely, what I’m very proud of is that in his expansive career, most of oppa’s project choices were excellent, there wasn’t ONE production that I didn’t like after his military service. He is very picky when it comes to work selection and for a good reason. Didn’t he turn down Kim Eun Sook 4,5 times (including Descendants of the sun) before finally agreed to do Goblin. His strength lies in knowing well what is suitable for him and what’s not, while still honing his versatility in different genres and diverse challenges. So for the same reason I also agree that he shouldn’t do this current project by KES. And if I’m completely honest, I don’t prefer him working with SHK so much. I have nothing against this actress and in fact supported the first stage of her career quite a lot (Autumn in my heart, All in, Full House). But she became a bit controversial in the latter half of her career both professionally (tax evasion scandal) and personally. Oppa’s image is completely scandal free for over 20 years and I would prefer seeing him with compatible costars on that front such as Han Ji Min, Jun Ji Hyun or re-cooperate with Jung Yu Mi or Gong Hyo Jin, Jeon Do Yeon etc etc

I agree. I also dont think GY would want to do a multiple season drama even though it is an 8 episode commitment. He is already filming Netflix drama - I don't think he would want to do another drama after. So I won't be surprised if KES does a Goblin reference or something. Although SHK has always wanted to work with Gong Yoo. She mentioned since 2017.

@veespn actually I like that idea too Loved their chemistry in Finding Mr Destiny and back in 2010s I had this strong suspicion that they dated although the internet wasn’t anywhere near as developed as today and there wasn’t really any reliable proof. Both oppa and ISJ were also super private. Looking at it now the past is just past...

I think the original was brown sugar and white sugar but they decided not to because it sounded a bit sweet. So they used sesame seed instead and white rice.

White sugar and brown sugar!!!! So Sweet. Too funny not to share.

@greenleaf it seems GY and Bae Donna are comfortable with each other. I'm glad they became friends , giving nicknames to each other .

I'm looking forward to their pairing in the drama. I do remember Doona Bae's instagram story when Gong Yoo was on You Quiz. So it's cute that was brought up as well. 

 

EDIT: Google recommended me to read another article of KES drama. It really does remind me of GY's Silence except this drama involves more of SHK character needing to get revenge for school abuse she endured. So she decides to be a teacher. As expected it really doesnt sound like the drama would focus on the male lead that much - it may be more on the child and how it affects family.
