I'm hoping this is the right place to ask. Anyway, I was wondering what happened to the SBS Good Sunday Part 2 "Gold Miss is Coming" Thread here at soompi?? It was always there but I just checked and it doesn't even exist anymore. I don't even see it... anyone know what happened? I usually get updates and d/ls from there and was sad that I can't d/l the latest episode. Nevermind I found it! It was renamed and located in a different area. Ignore my question!

Why in the world are you asking this? :huh: Just curious...

1 = Appears to be from Friend, Our Legend (currently being broadcast)

4 = Swallow the Sun (also currently being broadcast)

Can't help you with the others; I'm not watching any of the current sageuks (if 2 is from one of them) and I really don't recognize 3.

I had korean channels from 2000 to...2006? Anyway, I can't remember the name of a certain korean drama that I watched.

I'll tell what I remember from the tv series

1. It takes place in the recent era and the series is sort of a comedy type.

2. A guy is the main character

3. The korean gang involved in this tv series tries running away from this guy b/c he kicks butt.

4. The guy first begins his war with this korean gang by beating the crap out of a certain number of the korean gang's group and drags the whole gang out.

5. The guy always carries a small black stick (baton?) about the size of a ruler or longer in his back and uses it like a sword when he fights.

6. The guy wears dark clothing when he fights.

7. The leader of the korean gang is played by Kim Hak-cheol (김학철), and he supposedly gets killed through the series.

8. If anyone remembers Yain Shidae (야인시대), Lee Jung Jae's (이정제) underling--the fat guy with a mustache that is very good with a gun and attempts to permanently eliminate Shirasoni (Shirasoni calls him 돌대가리, which means blockhead or stone head)--he is involved in this korean drama as well. He's the leader's right hand man.

9. The main character, when he is finally beat--the korean gang prob. beat him the unofficial and cheap way--his arms and legs are tied, and a doctor with some needle is about to stick him (this takes place outside somewhere, most likely in a run down place), the main character's friends jump in and drive away the lousiest way anyone could possibly have done.

10. One of the trailers shows the main character using his black stick/baton (whatever the weapon is) to hit and break a beer bottle that one of the korean gangsters throws at him.

Some of you might say Dr. KKang/ Dr. Gang but it isn't it.

I tried looking everywhere for the name of the korean drama.

THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!!!

The series looked cool and I want to see it at all costs.

hmm... well i went by the name you mentioned kim hak cheol... (since the first 6 pts or so are kinda vague, gangsters fighting gangsters, which k-dramas show from time to time)

sigh*

I hate it when sites like wiki, hancinema, and naver don't contain ALL of the dramas that a certain actor/actress was part of (I don't mean to be very demanding, but....)

Can anyone recommend me an ancient series similar to Hong Gil Dong? i guess something with a bit of humor, doesnt have to be hilarious but have light hearted moments like Hong Gil Dong (but with a happier ending)?
