Jaeho
^ Yep, it's Mina. I'm not sure but if you look at it carefully (top area) you can kind see it. The shoes a bit too. Could be used in a fashion show X-D She does however have a real Hanbok costume in Soul Calibur II, but the colors are ugly, IMO. It's cosplayed alot though. LOL The real hanbok she wears in SCII is so ugly. The game designers gave her a really cheap looking one. And one of her weapons is a broom. And are you serious that people cosplay that? Britney's hanbok looked OK to me, but they could have given her a nicer one. It was specially designed for her though. This one is really nice! Guest bsu
I would post that costume here but it's just really ugly X-D The broom was pretty cool though. At least it wasn't anything like Voldo's O_o.... Yeah alot of fans cosplay her Hanbok, because of the traditional value (and they don't think it's ugly) but whatever. They do a nice job making it. I love the color and the pattern on this one. And the dude's hat is awesome. I want to buy his.

Guest Rainie
^I've seen longer stretches before. They have to have them on for the rest of their lives...it looks really painful. But it's a tradition and custom, just like the golden lotus feet the Chinese used to have. The Chinese Hanfu's are absolutely gorgeous, I don't really like QiPaos in general... theedqueen
I think the hanbok is pretty =) I like kimono's too. But still I like the chinese hanfu the best. http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a51/bizuei/fusion.jpg ^ the hanbok-like clothings looks like what chaegyoung (?) would wear in the manga goong. they're probably cosplaying b/c they look _exactly_ the same as the ones that Park So Hee drew in the manhwa. And I actually like her hybridized hanboks that she has Chae-gyung wear. Very cute and pretty and I would definitely buy them if she ever decided to go in the fashion biz. I really love all the beautiful Korean Hanbok, but there are some good ones and some bad ones. If I ever got a hanbok for myself, I'd be _really_ picky about it My ranking of Asian traditonal wear goes Korean, Japanese, Indian/Some Chinese(sorry, I don't know the names of the styles I like). I like vietnamese, but I dunno where I'd put it in my ranking, sometimes I like them, sometimes I don't like them. But if you want to lose weight, you should go with the vietnamese ao dai because my mom said those were what kept her skinny when she still lived in vietnam. The ao dais were so constricting that if you gained once ounce of fat, you instantly feel it constricting you in that dress

Guest boo_its_lisa
You seem to make the most insulting remarks about Korean-related things. Yet, you're in the Kpop forum. Why? To insult? News flash- the Korean hanbok has garnered plenty of Best National Costume awards in Miss Universe pageants and other global beauty pageants such as Miss World, Miss Earth, Asia Pacific, etc. If the hanbok is the "ugliest thing" then I wonder how these came about: This is Miss Universe alone. 1952-1961: no award 1962—Kim Carlton—England 1963—Sherine Ibrahim—Israel 1964—Henny Deul—Holland 1965—Sue Ann Downey—USA 1966—Aviva Israeli—Israel 1967—Carmen Silva de Barros Ramasco—Brazil 1968—Luz Helena Rastepo González—Colombia 1969—Sangduen Manwong—Thailand 1970—Roxana Brown—Bolivia 1971—María Luisa Lopez Corzo—Mexico 1972—Carmen Amelia Ampuero—Peru 1973—María Rocío Martín—Spain 1974—Kim Jae Kyu—Korea 1975—Emy Abascal—Guatemala 2. There's also Miss World, etc, but I'm too tired to search for the lists. They can be elaborated with different fabric and shape variations according to occasions. Yes, the hanbok IS shapeless at the waist. And what's wrong with maternity clothes? What the hell is a woman supposed to wear when pregnant? A midriff baring top? Hanbok is supposed to hide a woman's figure modestly, rather than flaunt it. Men usually don't find it appealing for this reason, but I think that it is subtly elegant and tasteful in its own right, as reflected by the public consensus in the Costume Awards. I'm sorry that you can't see that. But hey, everyone has opinions. Do keep the deragatory, puerile comments to yourself. ---- Anyways, all these costumes are gorgeous!! Chinese Han Fu [?] is it? costumes. They're exquisitely beautiful. Thanks for posting! BEAUTIFULLY said.. i was goign to make a remark about this myself, but it seems someone has already done so.. but let's not argue nor say negative comments on such matters.. ALL traditional clothing are beautiful... but my favorite ones are the chinese korean and japanese.. but these are just my favorites..
