Taiwanese star Alec Su to give press conference along with Jang Nara

The Taiwanese singer Alec Su, 32, will hold a press conference with Jang Nara, 24, before the two participate in the 2nd Asian Song Festival to be held Nov. 11 in Busan. Su, who arrives in Korea Nov. 10, co-starred with Jang in the Chinese drama “Diamond Princess.”

The two singers will talk about their activities aimed at promoting cultural exchange between Korea and the Chinese-speaking region at the press conference, which is slated for Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Multimedia Center of Chungang University in Heukseok-dong, Seoul.

Jang’s agency, Warner Music, said that Jang and Su, both big stars in China, became friends while co-starring in “Diamond Princess,” and will make appearances together at the upcoming music festival.

The agency also added that Su, a top star in the Chinese-speaking region, is interested in advancing to the Korean market as well, and that both Jang and Su will be of great help to each other’s careers.

Jang, who is currently filming a music video for her second album to be released in China, due out Dec. 10, will return to Korea Nov. 10 and leave again Nov. 17 after the festival. She will then launch a promotion of her new album in China and choose her next role in a Chinese movie or TV drama.
