congrats to ivy she really does deserve that award...shes been in number 1 music charts twice now!! very impressive...what else her lives are always flawless and she dances well.

even though shes underrated in soompi shes REALLY popular in korea so thats all that matters ^^

i always wonder how these awards are awarded. how prestigous(sp?) are they? are they how popular you are with the general public or a specific panel chooses you

well the mutizen award (for inkigayo) is based on how many votes the singers get online...on the website. most of the fans vote for their favorite group/singer which is why you see dbsg, super junior, and shinhwa winning a lot. the mutizen award is not that big of a deal, but im sure it feels good to win it. which is why you see so many singers cry when they get the award on the show. its not really the value, they just feel respected and loved...and successful with fans and stuff. =)

congrats to ivy! she is so freaking good live.
