Kim Ju-hyeok and Kim Gyu-ri dating

Another co-star couple has been revealed. Agencies of both Kim Ju-hyeok and Kim Gyu-ri, actors in “God of War,” confirmed that romance has blossomed between the two.“They’ve been dating for about three months now,” the agencies said. Both agencies further added that the two were drawn to one another while spending time on the set of the MBC weekend period drama. While the agencies denied that a wedding would soon follow, they did ask the public for their “support for the couple.” As the news broke, netizens have claimed that the celebrity couple has been spotted enjoying dates around town. Although they met on set, Kim Gyu-ri is no longer part of the drama; she appeared in her last episode in July.  Since departing from the program, the 33-year-old actress has been busy promoting the cosmetics brand Bobbi Brown.

Kim Gyu-ri confirms to star in "Cunning Single Lady"

Actress Kim Gyoo-ri is starring in the new MBC drama "Cunning Single Lady".

She stars as Gook Yeo-jin, the daughter of Chairman Gook (Lee Jeong-gil) of D&T Soft Ventures where Cha Jeong-woo (Joo Sang-wook) is president of.

Gook Yeo-jin has outstanding insight with charisma that dominates her opponent and leadership just like her father. She is the heiress of Chairman Gook and does her best in her work. She falls for Cha Jeong-woo who has warmth that embraces people. She forms a rivalry with Na Ae-ra (Lee Min-jeong) who tries to take back Cha Jeong-woo, her ex-husband since he's succeeded after their divorce.

Kim Gyoo-ri-I says she's happy to have landed in such a good role and that she will work her best to present laughter and relation to the viewers. Apparently, she's perfect for the role of Gook Yeo-jin who looks strong on the outside but is actually very complicated on the inside.

"Cunning Single Lady" is a romantic comedy about an ex-married couple reunite and delivers the meaning of love, companion and marriage. To be aired in February after "Miss Korea".

Photos from the first script reading of 'Ambitious Single' unleashed

Photos of Joo Sang Wook, Lee Min Jung, Kim Gyu Ri, Seo Gang Jun, Hwang Bora, and El from the first script reading rehearsal of 'Ambitious Single' were unleashed.

On February 3rd, the production team of new MBC drama, 'Ambitious Single', released photos of the six heroins from their first script reading rehearsal.

The rehearsal was held in mid-January at MBC Dream Center, which is located in Ilsan, and all of the actors and actresses took a successful first step by showing a fantastic teamwork even though it was only their first meet-up. Even though the rehearsal was held for many hours, the actors and actresses continued on with never-exhausting professionalism.

Joo Sang Wook and Lee Min Jung's teamwork particularly drew a many people's attention. Lee Min Jung, who is casting in the drama as a divorced woman named 'Na Ae Ra', showed a full concentration during the whole rehearsal, and Joo Sang Wook, who is casting as a young entrepreneur, also showed a perfect job with her.

The two cast in the same drama back in 2007 as well, but they never got to meet each other, because they were paired up with different people, and it is the first time for them to work together. However, the two still showed a flawless teamwork.

After finishing the rehearsal, Joo Sang Wook showed a very satisfied look, and Lee Min Jung also showed a bright smile.

Furthermore, all of the other actors and actresses, including Kim Gyu Ri, Seo Gang Jun, and Hang Bora all showed their full concentration during the whole rehearsal.

Lee Jung Gil, who is casting as chairman Guk, smoothly led younger actors through the rehearsal, and Kim Seung Soo, who is casting as the father of Na Ae Ra, raised the staffs' anticipation with a perfect transformation.

In addition, Lee Byung Jun, who acted in drama 'Secret Garden', is casting as a secretary of chairman Guk, and Kim Yong Hee, who casted in 'Queen of Housewives', is casting as Lee Min Jung's troublemaker older brother.

Meanwhile, 'Ambitious Single' will be broadcast after 'Miss Korea'.

'Cunning Single Lady' To Hold Production Conference

[by Sunghee Park] On February 24, new MBC mini-series ‘Cunning Single Lady,’ held its production conference at Gangnamgu The Raum, Seoul.

On that day, Infinite L, Joo Sang Wook, Kim Gyu Ri, Lee Min Jung, Hwang Bo Ra, Seo Gang Joon and Producer Ko Dong Sun showed up, posing for the pictures. 

‘Cunning Single Lady’ is about divorced couple who rekindles their romance. The story depicts the Ae-ra(Lee Min Jung) who tries to seduce her ex-husband Jung Woo(Joo Sang Woo), who came back to her as a wealthy IT developer.

Actress Kim Gyu-ri becomes honorary labor attorney

Kim Gyu-ri and An Nae-sang were appointed as honorary labor attorneys by the Korea Certified Public Labor Attorneys Association on Saturday. 

The two actors were given certificates by the president of the association, Chae Ho-il, to both stars during an official conference held at Sejong University convention hall. 

The two stars have both played labor attorneys in past works. Kim played a public attorney struggling for the rights of a terminally-ill employee at a semiconductor company in the 2014 film, “Another Promise.” 

An took on the role of a righteous attorney who stands on the side of the weak in a war between the union and a conglomerate supermarket giant in cable network JTBC’s drama “Songgot.” 

A spokesperson for the association announced that they would continue to acknowledge the work of labor attorneys and problems regarding Korea’s labor structure. Kim and An will also take their part as honorary ambassadors in the association’s aim to build a fairer society.
