Summary:

An unblessed, untouched land: the demilitarized zone, exists only in

absolute isolation and silence.

Every G.P. soldier dies except for one!

All the dead bodies were beheaded, some so severely macerated they could not be identified.

The platoon leader is the chief general’s son.

The army detective was sent to the GP to examine the mystery; he only has until dawn, less than 10 hours away, to solve the case.

Everything lies in his hands.

The only survivor and suspect is private Kang, who was in a coma due to a gunshot wound.

He gave a frightening smile with ox blood dripping from his hand, and a part of a dead body in the other.

Everything becomes more mysterious and weirder things happen,

Because many Korean blockbusters continuously failed in yielding big profit these days, Chungmu-ro(the center place of Korean film industry) is in a kind of crisis, restructuring to find out new break through.

Consequently, the investment to new films is rapidly dwindling, and a lot of movies have to stop shooting until they find new investors. ‘GP 506’ also discontinued shooting last month(June 5) for complicated reasons, and now they are searching for new investors.

However, like the cases of some other expected blockbusters that are considering changing investors, this struggle is accepted as a hopeful sign because they are trying their best to find better condition for making their movies. The production system is improving to be more reasonable film making environment as well.

I feel sad upon hearing the news that this movie has been suspended for a while. I hope whatever the problems are will be solved soon. I will still look forward to see this film.

I want to see Jo Hyun Jae in a drama soon, I wish........ Just wondering if he has entered the army already? I don't think so....... (?)

Here’s hopeful news for us. I was wondering if the investors were not sure of the success of ‘GP 506’ and gave up investing, but that was not the reason.

According to U.P.(2007-7-3), the main reason for discontinuing ‘GP 506’ was a money related conflict between CEO and former CEO of the production company, Motis (I guess it was a kind of power game).

During this confusing situation, many employees were fired and the expenses for shooting ‘GP 506’ were not paid on time. (‘GP 506’ is the first film that Motis produces.)

However, Motis still shows their big expectation on ‘GP 506’ and one person in the company says ‘GP 506’ is too good to give up. He also says they are finding a new production company while suggesting good conditions, and one or two film companies are now considering it positively. So it won’t take long to find a new production.

‘G. P. 506’ will resume filming after switching production companies

The movie ‘G.P. 506’, with main character-Jhj, will begin filming again after they changed production companies.

The representative for ‘G.P. 506’ mentioned today “We’ll change our production company this week and will restart filming right after all the legal agreements have been settled.”

This movie is about the mysterious murders occurring in an isolated guard point, which has become a hot topic because the director is ‘R-point’s Gong Soochang. However, the filming was stopped because of the production company’s internal problems.

It made people from the entertainment industry worry that investors are backing away from movie making and that the efforts of talented directors and actors were becoming useless.

However, the actors and assistants strongly believe in this project and are waiting to finish this movie, which is about 70% done. This made the investors harden their decision to continue investing into the production of the film.

He said that the directors and actors have a strong will and are determined to show their finished product to viewers, even though they met several difficulties along the way.

Members of Jo Hyunjae’s other fan club “Carpe Diem” visited the G.P. 506, movie studio and took pictures.

It was really cold and windy near the studio.

Moreover, there was no filming because snow that accumulated from the previous night had to be removed.

They set up the food, buffet-style, at an empty place near the team’s camp ground.

One handsome and kind assistant guided them to the movie studio.

Dinner was ready~~

The pork barbeque is missing, since they cooked it later to keep it warm…

Jhj lead them to a bright, lantern lit area to take a picture.

They put a gas heater right next to Jhj's seat and placed a cushion on his chair.

Jhj arrived at that moment...

He wore a long coat because of the cold weather.

He looked taller with a more slender face^^

Dinner started after the fans and JHJ greeted each other shyly.

They shared a little bit of alcohol since there was no filming that night.

The atmosphere felt really friendly~~

The Carpe members felt sorry for Jhj and were worried that he would mention that he wanted to go home....

Shooting for 'G.P. 506' will be finished soon (at last!). It is said that only 4 days left, but the remaining parts will be very important scenes for this movie. Please wish for good luck.

Hyun Jae ssi is staying at the location with all the crew and actors now, and after finishing filming he will join some photo shot which will be used for movie posters.

I can't wait till the movie is released~~
