The one thing I'm disappointed most about beyonce is that she credited herself for writing the lyrics and music for "Irreplaceable" when in reality, Ne-Yo wrote all of the lyrics. That's just not right.

Im not surprised about that, most artists/singers always take credit for other people's work. Just because you helped alittle doesnt mean you should take all credit. I find that many do thats why i refer to be people as artist, singer, entertainer and musicians. I dont care much for Beyonce but she is talented. Personally i find no interest in her, I was a huge fan of DC but then Beyonce went solo and i slowly stopped caring. ive never really liked her personality personally even in DC and honestly didnt buy into the whole survivor and independent woman type promotion even though the songs were catchy. As for the whole debate of Asians copying Beyonce, well like someone said Amercian culture is very influential, sometimes its wanted and sometimes America needs to stay out of people's business but thats another debate I see nothing wrong with Beyonce being sexy or acting that way because she choices and wants to promote herself that way. Nothing wrong with it, if you dont like it then dont watch it but i feel that if you dont much like an artist dont go bashing them either.

Weeelll... I don't wish to get into the whole sexiness v. sluttiness debate... So I suppose I won't.

I will admit, I only got through part of the first video ("Upgrade") and I went through the whole Shakira+Beyonce video. That was really cool. REALLY COOL. Music wasn't my taste, but it was intriguing. Although I was looking for some more dancing and something a bit more... than whatever they did... but Shakira is SUCH a good dancer that I had to sit through it. Amusing though, because if I'm not mistaken, Shakira is quite smaller than Beyonce... but in the video they managed to make them look virtually the same size.

And then I watched the Oscar performance... and repeated Beyonce's solo about five times before I was finally over how much in awe I am of her sheer talent.

I preferred Beyonce back when there was Destiny's Child simply because I don't like the music she does now. But I won't deny her talent. To me, Beyonce has always been one of the more gorgeous women in the entertainment business and one of the most musically talented... EVER. I don't see her as being slutty or whatever, she just gets it: sex sells. She just goes about it differently. So I just avoid whatever she's in that I think is too much.

Anyway, I remember seeing the Shakira & Beyonce video for the first time like, a week ago, and I was in awe. O__O; I was like, "how do they move their body like that..." haha, but I thought the concept was pretty cool. =P

I don't really like her songs now, but I LOVED her in Dream Girls. Really showed off her talent. Her voice is amazing. <3
