Guest Lucy
some of the clothes from vietnam look like a bad imitation of the other 'fobby' clothes on here. they try too hard to make it outfit look cute and unique that it just ends up looking tacky. i have to agree with you with many of the outfits but some of them are really cute too ^^;; the first few i thought were korean first. after that it sort of did get tacky. Guest flyxme.
why is it called viet style if it's basically styles from china, korea, and japan? why not just asian style? -____________-
Guest BattleRoyale
im vietnamese, and i'll agree that some of their fashion is strange and something id call "vietnamish" but they've improved so much, & what inconnuu posted - the Hanoi Vietnam pictures look awesome! they jst look like normal fob style clothing so i don't get how it can be seen as "trying too hard" or wateva. if it never said hanoi vietnam, i never would have known that it was from vietnam. good thing im going vietnam next year ^^, if i see clothes like that i'd buy it for sure. it just gets annoying sometimes. people will always say "vietnam is trying to hard" or "vietnam is tryna copy korean/japanese/chinese fashion/music" but give em a break, they jst need inspiration and are trying to get with it like everyone else. thanks for posting the pictures *right clicks & saves them*

Guest Inconnu
ever heard of such a thing as an opinion?Go look it up in a dictionary sorry, but your comment was a bit unnecessary. She never said anything rude to the people who made those comments about Viet fashion. She's also stating her OWN opinion so maybe you should respect that too? im vietnamese, and i'll agree that some of their fashion is strange and something id call "vietnamish" but they've improved so much, & what inconnuu posted - the Hanoi Vietnam pictures look awesome! they jst look like normal fob style clothing so i don't get how it can be seen as "trying too hard" or wateva. if it never said hanoi vietnam, i never would have known that it was from vietnam. good thing im going vietnam next year ^^, if i see clothes like that i'd buy it for sure.it just gets annoying sometimes. people will always say "vietnam is trying to hard" or "vietnam is tryna copy korean/japanese/chinese fashion/music" but give em a break, they jst need inspiration and are trying to get with it like everyone else.thanks for posting the pictures *right clicks & saves them* I agree with you in the above quote. It's not like Vietnamese people are the only ones that imitates others. Heck, all the Asian countries adapt each other's culture. No one country is truly genuine. I hate how people here are so prejudiced towards Vietnam...I know its your own opinion but dont say that Viet fashion copies others Cause you might as well say Korea and China copied Japan and Japan copied America. Pff. lol, and funny thing is I bet most people who actually reprimanded Vietnamese fashion are Vietnamese people themselves. Sigh...
Guest Kimimaro
aww.. i think vietnamese fashion looks fine! looks like any other asian style XD can't really tell the difference lol http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u103/go...15/DSC04975.jpg http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u103/go...15/DSC04999.jpg ^those are so cute and baggy C:
Guest pUrDy_pAnOu
The viet fob is cute! i don't see HOW they are trying too hard? i mean isn't fob just a combination of random clothing put together? i don't see the different between Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Viet fobs. it's just the same. Guest yooniceland
you can tell the difference of their clothes just by their style (sort of). korean and japanese are more sophisticated and romantic, while chinese/taiwanese and vietnamese are "cute" and girly, and much more... upbeat??? either way theyre all good. i still prefer the more sophisticated and romantic clothes compared to cute and girly, but sometimes i dress cute just cause i feel abnormally happy,
