Youn’s Kitchen 3 might be produced in Jeju Island.

Earlier today, a media outlet reported that the upcoming season of tvN’s flagship entertainment show Youn’s Kitchen will be filmed in Jeju Island by the end of this year or in January next year.

In response, the production team said, “We are discussing it, but nothing has been confirmed.”

Youn’s Kitchen shows Yoon Yeo Jung, Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yoo Mi, and Shin Goo open a small Korean restaurant overseas to serve local people and tourists. The cast gets to experience freedom in a foreign place, but they also need to work things out together to run the restaurant.

Season 1 and 2 took place in Bali and Spain, respectively. The production team, including director Na Young Seok, reportedly went on an on-site survey earlier this year to produce another season overseas but had to cancel all plans with the outbreak of coronavirus.

Attention focuses on whether Youn’s Kitchen will open a restaurant in Korea and greet viewers with season 3.

Director Kim Tae Yong’s new film Wonderland (literal title) will be released overseas via Netflix.

According to a media outlet, ACEMAKER Movieworks and Netflix have agreed to release Wonderland through Netflix around the world except Korea and China. With this, the film will be released in theaters in Korea and Netflix overseas. Given the fact that Netflix does not provide services in China and that Tang Wei took one of the lead roles, China is considering releasing the movie in the local theaters.

Wonderland is the first movie by director Kim Tae Yong in 9 years since he directed Late Autumn in 2011. It tells the story of those who use “Wonderland,” a simulated universe where people can reunite with loved ones with whom they can no longer interact with in the real world.

Earlier, the film made headlines for its super-luxurious cast. Suzy and Park Bo Gum play the couple in their 20s, Choi Woo Shik and Jung Yu Mi star as the “Wonderland” coordinators, while Gong Yoo and Tang Wei turn into a couple in their 40s.

ACEMAKER Movieworks and Netflix have been discussing overseas release since the early stage of the production. Rumor has it that ACEMAKER Movieworks signed the overseas copyright contract with Netflix for about 30 percent of the production budget after long negotiations.

Wonderland finished filming at the end of September and is currently working on the post-production stage. Tang Wei will film additional scenes in January next year, and the movie will be released in the second half of next year.

Japanese women see themselves in S. Korean feminist film 'Kim Ji-young: Born 1982'

October 19, 2020 (Mainichi Japan)

Posters for the movie "Kim Ji-young: Born 1982" are seen in a movie theater in Tokyo's Chiyoda Ward, on Oct. 16, 2020. (Mainichi/Natsuki Nishi)

TOKYO -- "Kim Ji-young: Born 1982," a movie based on the bestselling South Korean novel with the same title that illustrates struggles that women in Japan's neighboring country face, is capturing the hearts of Japanese women who sympathize with the story's main character Kim Ji-young, as they too live in a male-dominated society similar to the world depicted in the movie.

The book, which sold over 1.3 million copies in South Korea, has been translated into multiple languages, and in Japan, it has sold some 210,000 copies since the Japanese version became available in 2018. The movie adaptation just hit theaters in Japan on Oct. 9.

Kim Ji-young lives with her husband and a young daughter in a suburb of Seoul. Growing up, she was not valued by her family as much as her younger brother was because she was a girl. The story is about her struggles as a woman in South Korea in every stage of life; from her childhood days to marriage, leaving the workforce when she became a mother and then becoming swamped with the pressure of child rearing.

On the first weekend after the movie's release in Japan, this Mainichi Shimbun reporter spotted a "Ji-young generation" woman, 40, at a movie theater in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward.

"There were just way too many scenes I could relate to," the resident of the Kanagawa Prefecture city of Kawasaki told the Mainichi after seeing the movie, with her eyes still red from crying. She continued, "Japan and South Korea share similar customs like going to see your parents at their home during the Bon summer holiday and New Year holiday period. People in my mother's generation, those in their 60s and 70s, push outdated rules like 'women should leave work at least for three years after they have a child.'"

The woman's husband, who watched the movie with her, is a third-generation "Zainichi" Korean (a Korean resident in Japan). He said he had taken notice of the story as the original book became a huge hit both in South Korea and Japan.

"I thought in this day and age, men should share the burden that women have taken," the husband said. But when he tried to continue by saying, "My parents are relatively modern-minded," the woman stepped in, saying, "Your father once bitterly said, 'My son works outside the home and still does dishes and other chores at home.'" In the movie, Ji-young's mother-in-law makes a similar comment.

The story leaves the audience with a huge impression from the remarks made by the men in Ji-young's life. Professor Toshiyuki Tanaka at Taisho University in Tokyo who specializes in men's studies said he saw the reality of Ji-young and her husband as a couple when he asks her where his blue shirt is.

"The husband wants to help out Ji-young and appears caring, but this particular scene exposed that chores around the house like refilling detergent and cleaning dirty places were all done by Ji-young," Tanaka pointed out.

Japan and South Korea share similar issues involving married couples, such as the deep-rooted idea of gender roles where men work outside and women stay home as well as a gender pay gap. In 2019, South Korea ranked 108th in the World Economic Forum's Global Gender Gap Index, while Japan was further down at 121st. Japan showed particularly striking gender inequality in the economic and political areas. According to a survey published by the Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry last month, 70.9% of mid- and small-sized companies in the country were against making men's parental leave mandatory over manpower shortages and other reasons.

While these figures suggest serious problems, Akiko Matsuo, head of "etc. books Inc.," a publisher specializing in books and magazines on feminism, points out that what issues are at hand "hasn't clicked" with many people in Japan, women or men. She added, "When I was in my 20s, my male boss would pat me on my head and say, 'Good job (for working as much as her male colleagues),' just for doing my job. Such a thing is never said to a male worker. Since I got married, my husband and I have been sharing the housework, but people tell me to 'feel grateful to your husband (for pitching in),' and it gives me mixed feelings." Referring to other couples she knows, "In more cases women are the ones who are faced with having to make choices in life, as in whether to choose a family or career."

Matsuo concluded, "The (Kim Ji-young) story visualized gender discrimination integrated into everyday life. It allows women to see that their struggles are not their fault but exist because of the social structure they live in."

Youn’s Kitchen 3 opened its business in Gurye, Jeollanam-do this time.

According to a media outlet, tvN’s entertainment show Youn’s Kitchen 3 began filming last weekend and finished filming under the tightest secrecy in Gurye, Jeollanam-do on Nov 26.

Earlier, it was reported that Youn’s Kitchen 3 will be filmed in Jeju Island. However, the production team at the time said, “Nothing has been confirmed for sure.” In the end, the new restaurant was opened in Gurye and is said to have been decorated to give the “exotic” looks.

For Youn’s Kitchen 3, Choi Woo Shik has been added as a new member. Expectations are already high on his chemistry with his best friend Park Seo Joon.

Youn’s Kitchen‘s previous two seasons showed Youn Yuh Jung, Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yoo Mi, Shin Goo, and Park Seo Joon opening a small Korean restaurant overseas to serve local people and tourists. This is one of the best programs created by producer Na Young Suk’s crew.

Season 1 and 2 took place in Bali and Spain, respectively. The production team, including director Na Young Seok, reportedly went on an on-site survey earlier this year to produce another season overseas but had to cancel all plans with the outbreak of coronavirus.

Youn’s Kitchen 3 will be programmed in January 2021.

According to Ilgan Sports, tvN’s Youn’s Kitchen has been changed to Youn’s Stay and is gearing up to be premiered in January next year.

Youn’s Stay, which provides a Hanok (a traditional Korean house) experience program, finished filming in Gurye, South Jeolla Province. It will be a Hanok experience reality show for foreigners who have not experienced the country properly to have a taste of “real” Korea. For the show, the production team has invited foreigners who have been in Korea for less than a year to experience life in Hanok. The filming took place on several occasions this month.

Youn’s series is another show by director Na Young Seok’s team. Season 1 and 2 took place in Bali and Spain, respectively. Star producer Na Young-seok’s new reality show “Youn’s Stay” will begin airing from Jan. 8 on tvN, the cable channel announced Thursday.

“Youn’s Stay” was rebranded from the producer’s former hit seasons of “Youn’s Kitchen,” where cast members traveled overseas to run a pop-up restaurant for a few days. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this season will be filmed at a hanok (traditional Korean house) guesthouse in South Jeolla where foreigners who have lived in Korea for less than a year come and stay.

Former cast members actors Yoon Yuh-jung, Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi and Park Seo-jun will take part again along with a new addition to the third season, actor Choi Woo-shik.

“We wanted to offer foreigners who were supposed to experience a variety of Korean culture a special experience of staying in a hanok overnight,” the producer said in a statement, explaining the show’s initiative. “We hope they can get to properly feel the local mood [through this show].”

The show’s first episode starts at 9:10 p.m. on Jan. 8.

tvN’s new entertainment show Youn’s Stay will be responsible for healing winter nights.

Youn’s Stay is a reality program about Hanok experiences. Although it is difficult to move between countries due to COVID-19, the show will make foreigners who have entered Korea less than a year ago feel the Korean sentiments that they haven’t experienced.

If Youn’s Kitchen series spread the taste and culture unique to Korea in foreign countries, Youn’s Stay will show Korea’s love and beauty to foreigners living in Korea in Hanok in Jeollanam-do.

With CEO Youn Yuh Jung in the center, vice-president Lee Seo Jin, general manager Jung Yu Mi, manager Park Seo Joon and intern Choi Woo Shik will gather to present the full Hanok experience. Attention focuses on what kind of chemistry Choi Woo Shik, who newly joined the team, will show with the regular cast members.

On Dec 26, Na Young Seok hosted a live stream on YouTube and talked about why he decided to change the format of the program, saying that he wanted to give foreigners a chance to fully experience Korean sentiment as they would have had a much better taste of the country if they visited Korea at a better time.

‘Youn’s Stay’ hopes to give foreigners little taste of Korea

New tvN entertainment show “Youn’s Stay” plans to bring the warmth of hanok, or traditional Korean houses, to the small screen this winter.

In the program from star director Na Young-seok, veteran actor Youn Yun-jung runs a hanok guest house in Gurye, South Jeolla Province, for foreigners who have been in Korea for less than a year. Guests include those who came to Korea on business or for education, as the COVID-19 situation hinders tourist travel.

While Youn’s previous program “Youn’s Kitchen” brought Korean tastes to other countries, this program gives visitors a taste of Korea in the most traditional setting, in the form of hanok.

The first season of “Youn’s Kitchen” was set in Indonesia while the second took place in Spain. The third season of “Youn’s Kitchen” was to have been shot abroad early last year, but the protracted pandemic situation forced a change of plan.

“If people who came to Korea during COVID-19 times had come at a better time, they would have been able to experience Korean culture and have diverse experiences,” said Na in a live broadcast Dec. 26. “Through their one-night stay in a hanok, I wanted to make them truly experience Korean culture.”

Actors Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi and Park Seo-joon, who were with Youn in “Youn’s Kitchen,” once again join her as assistants, along with a new intern, actor Choi Woo-sik, known for his role as Ki-woo in “Parasite.”

A six-minute highlight video released Wednesday through online platform Naver TV shows the five actors gathering at the site of the new show, as well as doing everything from cooking to cleaning.

“Youn’s Stay” will air Fridays at 9:10 p.m. on tvN starting Jan. 8.

'Youn's Kitchen' to 'Youn's Stay,' TV show producer talks about changes after pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought so many changes, especially in the TV industry which typically involves a large production crew and often includes overseas trips. TvN's reality show "Youn's Kitchen" was no exception.

The show, named after its main cast member, veteran actress Youn Yuh-jung, has gained huge popularity since it first aired in 2017 with its interesting format, showing her team running a Korean-style restaurant in other countries. After two successful seasons, the network was set for its third season last year.

But after the outbreak started in China quickly turned into a global health crisis, the show underwent a major change from its original format ― which required traveling aboard ― and is now set to hit the air Friday with a new title ― "Youn's Stay."

"The biggest change is that it is not a restaurant, it is a hotel, which expands the cast members' responsibilities," the series producer Kim Sae-hee said through tvN Wednesday. "When they were just taking care of meals for Youn's Kitchen before, they are now managing check-ins, room cleaning, and two meals for each guest, which kept them on their feet."

Under the new format, the cast members ― Youn, actors Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi, Choi Woo-shik and Park Seo-joon ― run a traditional hanok guest house in South Jeolla Province for expats who have been in Korea for less than a year.

The producer said that the show's purpose was to introduce the guests to the "beauty of Korea," which they could have experienced more freely if it weren't for the pandemic.

"When we were planning for the new season of Youn's Kitchen, the situation with COVID-19 worsened," Kim said. "While we were searching for other ways, we've learned about foreigners who had to come to Korea for educational or business matters but could not fully enjoy the culture due to the pandemic."

With actor Choi joining the four cast members from Season 2, the producer noted there were changes in their roles as well.

"Jung got promoted to chef and Park to sous-chef. They mastered difficult dishes including traditional Korean royal cuisine," he said. "The menu was also upgraded from simple dishes to a full course meal, from appetizer to dessert, the kitchen was extra busy."

Kim expressed the hope for the show to provide a sense of comfort to viewers going through a tough time.

"For those who are having a tough time as their lives have been disrupted (due to the pandemic), I hope they can laugh and enjoy a sense of peace through the beauty of nature, hanoks and people's stories," he said. "As the title says, I wish Youn's Stay will continue to be a warm, healing show for them."

‘Youn’s Stay’ Shows a Slamming Start, Premiering with 12% Ratings

tvN’s new entertainment show Youn’s Stay filled the Friday night with laughter and healing.

The first episode of Youn’s Stay marked a pleasant start by garnering an average of 9.8% viewer ratings in the Seoul metropolitan area and soaring as high as 12.6%. It also averaged 5.5% and peaked up to 7.6% in the tvN’s target audience ratings of 2049 for men and women, ranking first of any programs aired at the same time.

The first thing that caught the attention was the Hanok’s beautiful scenery. Youn’s Stay, which was separated from the outside by a wall, was divided into the upper area with three Hanok houses and the lower area where there are reception, dining hall and staff’s Hanok house. And of course, this huge map foreshadowed the challenging journey that the cast members’ will face as they are forced to walk back and forth the long route.

Perfect teamwork between Youn’s Stay members also stood out. Youn Yuh Jung greeted customers with her smile, and Lee Seo Jin sorted things out with his skills he picked up as a business major. Jung Yu Mi and Park Seo Joon flamed their passion in the kitchen, while Choi Woo Shik made headlines as an all-rounder intern, taking on the role of everyone’s assistant, mood maker, pickup driver, server and a guide.

However, the trailer heralded chaos in the Youn’s Stay from the first night, raising more curiosities. tvN’s Youn’s Stay airs every Friday at 9:10 pm KST.

TvN’s ‘Youn’s Stay’ off to good start

By Song Seung-hyun | Jan 10, 2021

The first episode of “Youn’s Stay” premiered on Jan. 8. (tvN)

“Youn’s Stay” -- a spin-off of the popular Korean reality TV show “Youn’s Restaurant” -- got off to a good start Friday with a rating of 8.2 percent.

The show features foreign guests staying at a hanok guesthouse in Korea run by a group of celebrities. It began with the production team expressing concerns about airing a program during the pandemic. It was noted that all celebrities and guests on the show had tested negative for the coronavirus.

“Youn’s Restaurant” was a hit tvN reality show series that featured a group of Korean celebrities opening up Korean restaurants in small towns overseas. While producers had to change the concept of the show due to restrictions on traveling abroad, it kept its original casting, featuring actors Youn Yuh-jung, Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi and Park Seo-joon.

The ratings for the show’s first season, filmed in Indonesia, peaked at 14.1 percent and ratings for its second season, filmed in Spain, peaked at 16 percent, both considerably high for a cable channel program in Korea.

The plan for a third season of the show last year was scrapped due to the pandemic and the team came up with a spin-off show “Youn’s Stay” to film in South Jeolla Province as an alternative.

After the first episode aired, the hanok stay -- Ssangsanje in Gurye, South Jeolla Province, where the show was shot -- was flooded with inquiries about reservations.

“We have temporarily halted our operation due to other schedules. We will soon provide information about our reopening,” the owner of the accommodation said on its website.

In Friday’s episode, the actors compared their experiences in both shows.

Lee told Park that it is very difficult to operate a guesthouse and Park agreed, saying, “‘Youn’s Restaurant’ was easier.”

The casts prepared Korean food, including tteokgalbi (beef patties), jeon (pan-fried vegetables) and gungjung tteokbokki (royal stir-fried rice cake) for the guests’ first meal.

Along with cooking, the celebrities had to learn new tasks such as preparing the guesthouse and picking up guests, which they did not have to deal with when they ran restaurants.

The show however kept its concept of introducing Korean culture to foreigners by receiving only foreign guests who have been living in Korea for less than a year to the hanok guesthouse.

Actor Choi Woo-sik, known for his role as Ki-woo in “Parasite” joined the show as a newcomer and took up the role as an intern. Choi, a Korean-Canadian who is fluent in English, was in charge of communicating with foreign guests.

Meanwhile, the shows’ main cast Youn is being seen as a strong contender for this year’s Oscars. She has so far won a total of eight best supporting actress awards given by US film critics circles and festivals, including the Columbus Film Critics, Oklahoma Film Critics Circle and the North Carolina Film Critics.

Na Young Seok’s new healing show has surpassed 10% viewership.

According to Nielsen Korea, the second episode of tvN’s Youn’s Stay garnered 10.2% ratings. On this day, 5 members successfully served 14 guests with a perfect course dish on the first day of business. In the process, the charm of each cast was revealed, drawing attention.

Youn Yuh Jung welcomed every guest with a smile and witty talk, while Lee Seo Jin showed off his delicate care, even preparing chocolate and coke for young guests. Choi Woo Shik, who newly joined the team, radiated his friendly charm all the while continuing his busy schedule of picking up customers, decorating the rest area, serving food and helping out with the food.

Although it was a short time, he communicated the most with the guests, and the scene in which he cutely boasted that he appeared in the film Parasite to a guest grabbed the attention. However, some said that they wished to be more of Jung Yu Mi and Park Seo Joon, who cooked 14 servings of course meals in the kitchen.

[Newsmaker] Second episode of ‘Youn’s Stay’ records over 10% viewership rating

By Song Seung-hyun | Jan 17, 2021

The second episode of “Youn’s Stay” -- a spinoff from reality TV show “Youn’s Restaurant” -- marked a viewership rating of 10.2 percent, according to Nielsen Korea on Saturday.

During the show that aired Friday night, the cast served traditional Korean drink makgeolli, as well as Korean foods they had learned to make in the previous episode, including bugak (seaweed chips), tteokgalbi (beef patties), jeon (savory pancakes) and vegan gungjung tteokbokki (royal stir-fried rice cakes) for the hanok guests’ first dinner.

Despite criticism that the show is little else than a rehash of director Na Young-seok’s previous hit tvN reality show series “Youn’s Restaurant,” the show’s first two episodes proved the ability to attract viewers.

“Youn’s Stay” is an alternative show the tvN production team came up with after it scrapped plans to film the third season of “Youn’s Restaurant,“ which featured a group of Korean celebrities opening Korean restaurants in small towns overseas.

The first episode of “Youn Stay” got a rating of 8.2 percent, which is considered high for a cable network program in Korea.

Although the show kept the same cast and theme of promoting Korean culture to foreigners, the minor changes made the show interesting to viewers.

New cast member and actor Choi Woo-sik, known for his role as Ki-woo in “Parasite,” was also one of the key contributors to making “Youn’s Stay” special.

In the second episode, guests were surprised and excited to find out that Choi, who had been guiding them to their traditional Korean accommodations in the hanok, was the one who appears in the Oscar-winning film.

“It would be a total dream come true to stay in this hanok with all these famous actors,” one online commenter wrote about the scene.

Veteran actor Youn’s cynical but caring personality also shined in Friday’s episode, which often saw guests erupting in laughter.

When one of the guests joked about bugak, a food they were not familiar with, and asked “You are not going to poison us?” Youn showed her humor by responding “Not tonight. Maybe, tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, Youn is being seen as a strong contender for this year’s Oscars. She has so far won 11 best supporting actress awards from US film critics circles and festivals, including the San Diego Film Critics Society, Music City Film Critics Association and the DiscussingFilm Critic Awards.

Top Actors Who Suffer from Stage Fright

by krishkim

Jung Yu Mi

Jung Yu Mi, who is considered the “synonym of lovely,” started to suffer from stage fright after she made a mistake on the stage when she was a student at Seoul National University of Arts. In fact, she was seen flustering so much that she couldn’t continue her speech at the 2014 KBS Drama Awards, drawing attention.

But because she always stuns us with her incredible performances in all her projects, we tend not to know her stage fright. About this, Jung Yu Mi once said, “Acting is okay because it’s like becoming another person.”

Spoiler

Yoo Ah In

Yoo Ah In was often spotted shaking on stage. He is a star with “stage phobia,” which makes it hard for him to stand straight in front of many people.

When he won the Best Actor Award for Six Flying Dragons at the 52nd Baeksang Arts Awards, he got on stage and said, “I know the same controversy surfaces whenever I come on stage to say my acceptance speech.” But recently, he was seen trying a new exercise method to get over his “nervousness” through I Live Alone, drawing attention.

Lee Jong Suk

Lee Jong Suk is suffering from “attention phobia” that makes him break out in cold sweats and turn red when he gets attention. He once said, “It’s okay when I’m acting, but whenever I get attention, like at an after-party with more than 7 people, I turn cherry red.”

In an interview with a media outlet, Lee Jong Suk shared, “I almost fainted while doing the stage greetings tour. It’s hard for me to breathe in crowded places.”

"The Man Standing Next," a political thriller about the 1979 assassination of President Park Chung-hee, won the Best Picture award at the 41st annual Blue Dragon Awards, Tuesday. Park was assassinated by his right-hand man Kim Jae-gyu, who was the director of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA).

The film received a total of 10 Blue Dragon nominations, but ended up winning only one award. This is director Woo Min-ho's second Best Picture award following the 2016 political crime-action film "Inside Men." "The Man Standing Next," the national contender for the 93rd Academy Awards, failed to make the shortlist of 15 films.

Yoo Ah-in won the Best Actor award and the Most Popular Actor award for his role as the mute Tae-in in the crime drama "Voice of Silence." This is Yoo's second Best Actor award from the Blue Dragon Awards following his feat in 2015 with the period drama "The Throne." Ra Mi-ran was named Best Actress for her performance in the political comedy "Honest Candidate."

"I was grateful for just being nominated because Honest Candidate is a comedy movie. When I received the Best Supporting Actress award at the 34th Blue Dragon Awards, I jokingly said 'I'll return for the Best Actress award.' I didn't expect to receive the award right after being nominated for the first time," Ra said after receiving the award.

Lim Dae-hyung, director of the romantic drama film "Moonlit Winter," received awards for Best Director and Best Screenplay. He made a rare public remark on stage about LGBTQ.

While giving his acceptance speech for the Best Director award, Lim told the audience, "Moonlit Winter is a queer film. I say this because some viewers might not know what kind of film it is. There is nothing strange about a film in 2021 containing LGBTQ content, and I'm really happy for that."

The Best Supporting Actor and Actress awards went to Park Jung-min who played a transgender role in "Deliver Us from Evil" and Esom who played a confident, down-to-earth 1990s woman in "Samjin Company English Class."

Park paid a heartfelt tribute to late comedian Park Ji-sun after receiving the trophy, saying, "When I was filming this movie, there was a friend who always asked me if I'm okay. I still cannot let go of her, but I'd like to take this time to apologize to her for not asking her if she was okay."

The best new director award went to Hong Eui-jung for "Voice of Silence." The most popular actress award went to Jung Yu-mi, who starred in "Kim Ji-Young: Born 1982."

The award for the most popular film went to the disaster blockbuster "Ashfall," which starred Lee Byung-hun and Ha Jung-woo. The award for the best short film went to the 30-minute film "The Thread."

The Blue Dragon Awards, one of the country's top two film honors along with Grand Bell Awards, was originally scheduled to take place in December but were postponed for about two months due to COVID-19.

Actress Jung Yu-mi may justifiably be compared to a chameleon when it comes to her versatility in fashion styles, just as in her acting career. She pulls off a range of effects in the way she styles herself -- sometimes she looks like the “girl next door,” at others like a chic urbanite.

At a livestreamed press event for the Netflix series "The School Nurse Files" on Sept. 24 last year, Jung showed off her feminine side in a floral blouse with lace details and a black mini skirt. At the annual Korean Association of Film Critics Awards on Nov. 11, she came across as very chic in a sophisticated all-black look.

Jung is also very good at pulling off any hairstyle, from a short cut to long hair in a ponytail. At a press event for "Kim Ji-young: Born in 1982" in 2019, she appeared in a short bob cut, looking boyish and innocent at the same time, while maintaining her elegance with a beige knitted pullover and pleated skirt.
