I've always thought she was really pretty.

I started to like her in 술의나라 ..the one with kim jae won? yeah...

anyways shes improved in acting ALOT...

before she was okay, but shes gotten alot better;;

I've always thought she is so underrated. She is stunningly gorgeous and is actually pretty good at acting. For example, I thought she completely overshadowed LeeYoWon in Fashion 70s.

Two reasons she hasn't made it big yet:

She has probably just been unlucky in getting good roles.

Her looks are very yahheh (which means very sultry and showy), and people in Korea tend to like the really natural and softer looking faces.

I also think that she overshadowed Lee Yeo Won in Fashion 70's. I liked her character a lot instead of the other leads. Her character there is very pitiful and wrongly accused for everything. I pitied her character a lot more than Lee Yeo Won's character.

I hope she'll get more outstanding leading roles from now on. She's too underrated in my opinion.

I do love her too....i've already seen her movie/serial Forbidden quest n ireland...i think she's sooo pretty...especially in forbidden quest...thx 4 making this thread purpleZ

Thank you so much for starting a thread on her! I've been waiting for someone to acknowledge her acting skills. I think her appearance is very versatile. She can be pure and vulnerable or be sexy and arrogant. I definitely thought she had much more depth than Lee Yo Won, whom I thought looked dazed and always held the same expression. I really want to see the drama with her and Kim Jae won! Hope everyone keeps posting!

I loved her in Fashion 70's. She was really pretty in there and I loved the fashion that her character wore<3 Her big hats were to die for xD

Ooooh...Kim Min Jung thread!! She is one of my favorite actresses and I agree that she is so underrated. It seems to me that most of the child actors do not get the attention nor the recongition, when they grow up and become "성인" actors/actresses. She is very beautiful and talented compared to other current/young stars in her age range. I am very happy that she is finally getting the attention and the recongition for her acting and beauty. She totally deserves it!! 김민정 화이팅!!

I am watching Stranger than Heaven now and realised that I have seen her in almost all her dramas!

TV SERIES:

* Stranger than Paradise (SBS, 2006)

* Fashion 70's (SBS, 2005)

* Ireland (MBC, 2004)

* Alcohol Land (SBS, 2003)

* Rival (SBS, 2002)

I first saw her in Rival with Kim Jae Won and though she played the "evil" role, her acting was superb for a relatively newcomer. I hated her character but I ended up admiring her acting skills!

She's pretty in an unconventional way but I think her acting overshadows her looks.

I'm currently watching Stranger Than Heaven. I think this is her first leading role in a drama, yet it got poor ratings. It's one of the underrated dramas. I like the pairing of her with Uhm Tae Woong. She's so pretty in there and her acting is as good as ever. Although I feel that she was the best in Fashion 70's.

She is so pretty! I really like her. The first time I saw her was on Love Letter with Shinhwa and she picked Shin Hye Sung. ^_^ I also really liked her in Fashion 70's.
