*** This was what Yuri replied when asked about JIW - :7555_attack:

You acted in a romance with Jung Il Woo in the drama… “He has a lot of acting experience and this is his sixth sageuk. I had a lot to learn from him. He provided many tips: how to manage filming in the cold on mountains and how to move properly and easily in a hanbok. Thanks to him, we were able to make fewer NGs. My experience in plays really helped where actors hold lengthy table meetings to discuss the script. This kind of teamwork is great. Jung Il Woo also has had such experience so he led me like that from the start. He also bought me a lot of food. He took care of the staff and brought us to many restaurants while we filmed in the provinces, and arranged places to meet. I could see his leadership as the lead actor through this.”  :ohboy2:

*** There was an interview with Jung Il Woo where the reporter asked about his chemistry with Yuri. He replied : :Ohboy3:

JIW: Just as how Ba Woo and Soo Kyung got closer and closer in the drama, Yuri and I grew closer and more comfortable with each other as filming progressed. Thus, we were able to act very realistically. We also became closer as we got immersed and agonized together how to portray our characters. In addition, the director was the number one contributor to the chemistry of the WooSoo Couple. The impact of our emotional lines was maximized by his detailed direction. Thanks to them, I had fun filming, and I think I will miss being on the set for the time being.

*** Jung Il Woo and Yuri must do another project together. they look very good together visually – He was great in "Haechi" but in "Bossam"  he showcased many more facets of himself as an actor. I always find him captivating. He was excellent as Ba Woo and he has proven yet again he is one of the few actors who can tackle sageuks masterfully. My only complaint about the drama is they didn’t get any kissing scenes. hahaha -

*** Shin Hyun Soo talked about starring in “Bossam: Steal the Fate” in a recent interview! Having filmed from November to May, he shared that Jung Il Woo and Yuri felt like family to him. He revealed, “While monitoring our drama, we send each other messages like, ‘This scene is so good,’ and, ‘We worked really hard then.’ We’ve become close to that extent. There was a lot of time we spent together, and we ate together from time to time, so we are practically family. We couldn’t help but get close. We talked about how to film the next scene even while eating, and I was grateful for that kind of attitude. I tend to enjoy asking for each other’s opinion and conversing, and those two people also weren’t against that. We put our heads together even more and came up with more ideas, so it was fun making the drama.”  He couldn’t stop praising JIW  and shared, “Jung Il Woo is an older brother and senior actor who has experienced the sageuk genre a lot. An actor’s skill that comes from experience is really exceptional. His portrayal of Ba Woo’s emotional scenes and his ability to lead the narrative are superb, so I learned a lot from watching. He could have had different interpretations from me. I learned from watching the method and skill through which actor Jung Il

Woo interpreted things, and it helped a lot with my growth.”      :popcornjackson:

*** JIW uploaded a new video on Youtube this week about glass art. He wrapped up filming of his latest drama so he had time to produce new content for his own channel. Jung Il Woo chose the activity based on fans’ suggestions. (Yuri kicked off Season 2 of her cooking show.)  :Twerkdatbutt:

*** This video proves Il Woo is the sweetest to Yuri – He is usually playful and polite behind the scenes of those clips I  have seen; but never so sweet and so caring unlike this clip. So much so to the point I find myself smiling watching this. i remember he bought Yuri porridge because he was worried she might get indigestion during the photo shoot.

*** Jung Il Woo posted a reel of himself lining up a shot in a game of night golf. It is known that many Korean celebrities who play golf usually opt for night golf when there are less people around. Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin were I think are also for a game of night golf. Yuri is also passionate about golf so is this yet another coincidence… or not?  :sweet:

*** Jung Il Woo uploaded a video of his Busan trip, which took place early May after he wrapped up "Bossam."  He visited a  restaurant in Busan and one of the first things he said was the place was pretty because it had a glass door. He said that he watched the third episode of the drama in Busan. He also complained he had not been in good physical condition since the drama ended…and that he got tired easily.

'High Kick!' cast to reunite after 14 years on documentary

optimize

By Dong Sun-hwa

The cast of the MBC sitcom "High Kick!" (2006-2007) will reunite on a documentary program, 14 years after the sitcom wrapped up.

"The production team of MBC's Docuflex is preparing to shoot a documentary about the sitcom," an MBC official said Tuesday. "But it is yet to be confirmed which actors will appear in it. The format has not been decided either."

"High Kick!" is one of MBC's most successful sitcoms ever, scoring its highest viewership rating at 20.4 percent. Its popularity was attributable to its original plots, the actors' vivid portrayal of their characters and the chemistry they created on the show.

The 167-episode show revolves around the life of the Lee family, with veteran actor Lee Soon-jae appearing as the family patriarch and Na Moon-hee playing the role of his wife. It also featured several high-profile stars, such as Jeong Jun-ha, Park Hae-mi, Jung Il-woo and Park Min-young.

Many of its episodes are currently available on YouTube, and the majority of them have garnered more than 100,000 views each.

"High Kick!" also had two sequels: "High Kick through the Roof" (2009-10) and "High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged" (2011-12), both of which were also popular.

So far, "Docuflex" has aired the episodes about the MBC hit rom-com "Coffee Prince" (2007) and the sitcom "Nonstop" (2000), among others. By revisiting popular shows of the past, "Docuflex" has been garnering numerous positive reviews for evoking nostalgia.

The "High Kick!" episode is scheduled to hit the air later this year.

*** Jung Il Woo uploaded a new video on his Youtube channel and it’s a refreshing one of him hiking and getting soaked under a waterfall. Perfect to beat the summer heat in Korea right now. He made known his daily routine has become very weird – he said he goes to bed at 10/11pm and gets up at 3am. He can’t figure out why but confesses he has totally fallen in love with golf. He added that he is absolutely crazy about it these days and can’t stop watching golf videos on Youtube. His golf obsession only started recently. He is looking so good in this video. :kaching1:

*** Ahhh............. this ramyeon must be good, want to have a taste of it, too. Jung Il Woo cooked outdoors in his latest vlog, cooking with sunglasses. He looks so good with sunglasses on.  After consuming the ramyeon while the remaining soup was still on the pot, he tossed the rice in as well, which it looks like it's an instant rice packed in a small package. Ahhh.....wanna try this, too. He definitely enjoys food and enjoys his own food.  :kaching1:

*** To celebrate his birthday yesterday, his fans put up billboards at subway stations in Seoul. He visited one of the billboards and made videos, which he then posted on Instagram with a caption - "Thanks to all my fans, this year's birthday could be more beautiful than ever. Take care of your health during this chilly weather, and I will repay you with a good drama and good acting. I am always so grateful for you guys. Thank you always and I love you. ." It's a lovely gesture from him. He appears genuinely touched and sincere in his appreciation to all his fans. He looks good in this simple and casual outfit. :Fist1:
